Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

ema not surr it has to be milk - cheese would probably work or even better yogurt... Are they all problems too?

kwick · 01/07/2016 19:47

nicky yoga is fab too. You can get Yoga Nidra tracks to listen to - let me know if you want me to recommend some - it is "yogic sleep".

kwick · 01/07/2016 19:46

Sorry for AF marmite Flowers

nicky I find weeding helps me to relax Grin

fxskip not much going on this end... Just waiting for AF next week so can start IVF Hmm

Just boarded plane - so will post again later.

SuchaJem · 01/07/2016 17:47

Blimey stark almost halfway! Things seem to move much faster in the world of grads. Glad it's all going well. Do pop by from time to time!

InspectorPenguin · 01/07/2016 16:04

Wow, almost 20 weeks Stark, that's happened quickly!

Can't believe how rubbish this weather is - apparently it was 37 degrees this time last year! I am going to get very wet at an outdoor wedding tomorrow but we're on holiday after that so I can't moan too much. Fingers crossed we see some bloody sunshine.

I think I'm about 12 DPO now (assuming I did, actually, ovulate) and 100% certain I'll be going into cycle 5. I have absolutely no symptoms at all, except the usual mild pre-AF cramps. Been feeling quite grumpy about it all today too which is probably another sign she's on her way...

Bit despondent I haven't seen any EWCM for months, or felt any OV pains, but at least I can get things moving at the docs soon if nothing happens.

Anyway, once I've got this work done I am categorically going to say Fuck It and look forward to a fun, booze filled week ahead! That has cheered me up already!! Grin

FXSkip · 01/07/2016 15:38

yes Hep my last one started on a long-haul flight - not amazing but at least you can just have the cabin crew bring you wine.

Thanks so much kav good to see you again too Smile I'm thinking I'll head to grads thread after my 8wk appt, provided everything goes well until then. So I'll keep lurking here for now, thanks to all for making me feel welcome!

HepKestrel · 01/07/2016 14:16

thanks kav - have lots of fun dtd WinkWinkWink

am off on a long-haul flight for work trip for a week starting tomorrow...... that must be surefire way for AF to arrive?

my focus - low stress and good food.....

I do like the grads swinging by !

snow where are you ???

kavanaughkj · 01/07/2016 14:08

Just running in in the middle of work so I have to be quick, but just wanted to say a huge congrats to you Skip! So happy for you - it's fab to see a BFP! Flowers

Am currently starting the DILRW - tons of EWCM this morning so time to start things off again. Grin Hep - hang in there, it must be so frustrating but we're with you. xx

StarkyTheDirewolf · 01/07/2016 13:01

I'm 19+2 jen and have just got a bit of a gut in the morning but my mid afternoon/evening i should probably accept it's a bump. Just getting into looking at prams and thinking about what colour to decorate and shut, which is weird. It's never stopped being weird yet!

I'll start the next thread and will keep posting but I feel like I'm hardly posting anything and therefore don't deserve to be thread starter etc! Grin

Hi mayago waves like a lunatic I feel like there should be a pre-grads thread for us in limboland!

fishy I wish we could answer your question, your best bet is surely just to keep dtd when you can for max success chances!

mayago · 01/07/2016 11:53

Congratulations Skip! I am still lurking about, but not sure what to do here once upduffed.

Had my 12 week scan and it finally look like there's an actual baby in there!!

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 11:22

Teehee, rally. I meant really. Grin

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 11:22

Ok, I'm rally confused. This should be my last day of FW and I decided to do an opk. No idea why today as I've not done one for the rest of this cycle. There isn't even a hint of a second line!! Does that mean I ovulated early or I haven't yet???

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 09:28

It's lovely having grads around, reminds us that it does happen! Grin

So I went to the doctors yesterday and got the ball rolling regarding not being pregnant yet. I get to have bloods and DH gets a cup, but before we get to fertility clinic stage our area wants us to try naturally for 2 years! Still I'm glad I got things going, even if it's freaking me out a bit!

SuchaJem · 01/07/2016 09:16

Please stick around skip no need for grads to leave from my perspective xx

FXSkip · 01/07/2016 09:05

Thank you all so much for your kind responses!! Feel like I've just told all my mates, so lovely to have all your support. I hadn't tested until l, I just randomly came across an OPK at work and thought what the hell, then stopped by Sainsburys on the way home for a proper test (not even FMU or FRER) I've only taken one, was going to wait a few days before taking the other one!! I'm going to wait a bit before going to grads, this all still doesn't feel real!

LisaTheSimpson · 01/07/2016 08:54

Congratulations, Skip, that's amazing! I'm so pleased and chuffed for you, lovely!

Wishing you a very happy and (no-sickness) pregnancy)

marmite IB is typically (but not always) older blood, as in more brown - dark red.

Evergreen17 · 01/07/2016 08:16

About bloody time for a BFP here! Come on lucky thread!!!!!! SmileSmileStarStarStar

Evergreen17 · 01/07/2016 08:15

OMG Fxskip get your bottom to the grads right now GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

marmitetoast1 · 01/07/2016 07:35

Haha love the TTC advice, skip, wonder if we can extend our road trip around Tuscany for another few weeks to coincide with next fertile week?!!
Tiniest amount of brown spotting again last night (sorry tmi) but nothing since. Another bfn this morning. Hmm i thought IB would be red?? Probably just a false start on the AF front, just when I thought I might be getting a 'normal' cycle length! Envy

HepKestrel · 01/07/2016 06:08

I can't add to the bfps..... Cd44 and bfn here.

bluebird3 · 30/06/2016 22:35

Congrats skip! That's a fantastic line. Well done. Smile

jem- can you put me down for 20th of July. Not too hopeful as my bloods results weren't super positive, but there's always a chance. Not really trying anymore...just waiting for dh to have his SA and then the fertility clinic referral...will likely be a few months.

No news from snowdog? I'm hoping it's because her IUI was successful and she's found a home in a grads thread somewhere.

twinkydink · 30/06/2016 21:20

Congrats skip so happy for you. Still been lurking on here hoping for some BFPS!!! I haven't been very active on the grads threads for various reasons but keep checking in on here to see how you are all doing!

InspectorPenguin · 30/06/2016 20:34

Congrats Skip!! Star Star Star

First time I've been able to log in this week and am so happy for you! I actually welled up a bit reading your post with the photo Blush

What a fantastically strong bfp!
Had you tested before today in this cycle?

I am just about to end cycle 4 since coming off the pill and am very encouraged to see you've had similar patterns to me with cycle length. Sadly I don't have any opportunities to have a holiday during FW bit will plough on :)

Huge congratulations again, hope you and your OH enjoy all the excitement before the panic sets in! Grin
