Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Welcome snarky. I'll let you and bluebird know how I get on with operation OH-in-the-TTC-driving seat.

Still no AF so just done another 'early response' test - BFN on cd 36 - 20 dpo - 8 days of sore boobs - which means I am definitely absolutely under no circumstances, pregnant. So where's my bloody AF? I just want it to hurry the hell up, ideally before the weekend and every day which does by is another day closer to when OH is on nights so might put out another month of DTD in the FW. Groan.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 08/06/2016 00:13

Welcome snarky welcome all new newbies!

Anyone else absolutely BOILING!? There's a massive thunderstorm in progress but me and the doggles have all been struggling with the heat this week! Dh has been an absolute delight what with being a giant muscley man, it's been a treat sleeping next to him!

How are we all?

Haha of course! To make it bold you type the name with an * before and after the word. It's helpful for skimming through and seeing if anyone has commented to you directly Smile

SnarkyGorgon · 07/06/2016 22:42

Thanks 5tardusty, the lack of awareness floored me. Btw, how might one embolden people's profile names on this here new fangled message board thing? Asking for a friend you understand... Wink

5tardusty · 07/06/2016 21:54

Snarky you've got the patience of a saint! Do you know when your fertile days are...?

THEY ARE BURNED ONTO MY BRAIN Angry

SnarkyGorgon · 07/06/2016 21:43

Age: 31
Cycle 5
Cd 26

Been a lurker for a little while now, hope you ladies don't mind me joining in? I'm right at the end of the dreaded tww, my best friend's just popped and I'm going crazy!

Bluebird and Purpleladybird, I'm glad it's not just me with a partner with a low libido, my OH is taking antianxiety/antidepressant medication and he is finding it very hard to muster up the urge to dtd. It is balls, particularly when he then has a minor meltdown about wanting a bablet and how it's all his fault I'm not getting upduffed. Crazy making. Also, while I'm on this insane rant, spoke to a (not very close) friend the other day who said 'I know I'm not supposed to ask, but I'm going to' and then, after I grudgingly told her, asked me if I'd thought about taking folic acid and if I knew when my fertile days are?!! She and her husband had become magically pregnant without even trying, but still felt the need to provide me with this glittering advice. I was very impressed with myself for not strangling her right then and there.

Anyway, good luck everyone, fight the good fight and all that!

5tardusty · 07/06/2016 21:23

Oh bollocks. Think my period is coming.... 16 day cycle!! Normally 32. Opks said i had a surge five days ago.

Post mc sucks!

Kathrino · 07/06/2016 19:32

Congrats Sky, what fab news!

HankPeach · 07/06/2016 19:25

Wahhh. That's amazing news sky congrats. What bloody lovely timing too.

On EWCM I have literally not seen the stuff since I was about 16! I'm 32. Been reading some interesting fertility awareness stuff about sensing it though. Essentially, if you feel wet, you're fertile. Also a number of folk seem to recommend checking your tissue and pants rather than routing around in there. Which seemed counterintuitive to me but I'm gonna try it.

I'm approaching the end of ISW. Think I've OV'd (positive opk) but waiting for temp to confirm. My first month temping though and I'm pretty slap dash with that old Mercury pipe so not convinced my results are useful.

purpleladybird · 07/06/2016 18:52

Still no AF. Just done another HPT- BFN 19 days after clear blue 'peak'.

purpleladybird · 07/06/2016 18:05

Just to let you know I've name changed from blueladybird to purpleladybird to hopefully avoid any confusion with bluebird. It's still me though, honest.

bluebird l feel the same on the self esteem front. Confused I'm not that concerned about our general fertility at the moment (ok I am just fairly worried rather than extremely worried) because at the moment we're simply not having enough sex.

bluebird3 · 07/06/2016 17:59

Well done sky that's fantastic news!

We have also been having some performance issues...it's not anxiety as much as poor dh just not that interested and trying to summon a will to bone when he's just not bothered. Before Ttc we would dtd once a week, and even every other day is a lot for him some months. Its so frustrating and also is quite a blow to my self esteem. So sick of Ttc. Maybe a few months off is what I need. Hmm

kwick · 07/06/2016 17:39

Still completely lurgified and still no af!!!! EnvyEnvyEnvyEnvyEnvyEnvy
I got some wierd fanjo pain earlier Hmm

Pigsbum · 07/06/2016 17:31

I thought AF arrived today but it's actually really light, I wouldn't say spotting but significantly lighter than usual...I can't help but still have my hopes up a little. None of the other usual symptoms either

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 17:03

Ah thanks Sky, although he's just rung to say he's now got conjunctivitis bless him! It's wrong of me to be annoyed right?! Envy

That's interesting that you spotted ewcm for the first time!, I've never noticed it yet but s'pose this is only 3rd month off the pill. Keeping an eagle eye out this month..

Mooseville · 07/06/2016 15:01

Brill news sky We were in need of a BFP, it's been too long!!!

SkyLucy · 07/06/2016 13:17

Thanks so much everyone! Yes nicky I did do something different in May...I noticed EWCM for the first time ever and said to DH "I think it's tonight"! I've never temped/OPKd and my period/ov tracker always places ov smack in the middle of my 32 day cycle, but I spotted some cheeky CM on CD20 so thought we should go for it.

The symptoms have definitely been different to BFN months. Some slight boob twinges but most notably disrupted sleep (and I always sleep 9+ hours a night. And sometimes in the day. I am a sloth) and really awful nausea/dizziness last Thursday.

Thanks for the invitation Starky - think it's a bit early days for me to join such an established grads group - will def lurk for a bit though, love the pearls of filthy wisdom ('perineal massage'?!)

Ha marmite - yep, always good to present your beloved with something you've weed on. #romantic. Hope your OH perks up enough for DILRW!

LovelyFishy · 07/06/2016 13:05

Bluebird I'd never thought of doing that before, but I like the idea! Given him the tracking apa and the power!

HepKestrel · 07/06/2016 12:53

congratulations sky !

5tardusty · 07/06/2016 11:23

Congratulations sky What lovely news! Grin

4dpo and I'm symptom spotting like crazy. Got a small bit of red blood today which I am hoping is either left over from a successful ov or even early implantation. Far too early for AF so really hoping it's not a weird cycle. The only thing annoying me is my temps which have not shifted. I'm really hoping that I've just not been measuring accurately and I did in fact ovulate. All other signs were there except the temps, which are meant to be the most accurate indicator. Aargh!

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 08:20

Hi all just catching up after a long weekend in the (gloriously sunny!) Peak District with DHs family. Had a great time spending time with SiLs little ones.

Still catching up but congrats sky!! And love the idea of wrapping the bfp stick up and adding it to his pressies that's brilliant!!Grin

Rapidly approaching the DILR week here (well, I think) but DH is full of the cold and/or hayfever and feeling grim.... Hmm

kwick · 07/06/2016 08:17

Congratulations sky!!!!! StarStarStar
