Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

I want to test tomorrow Jem but I think I should hold out if I can... Of course I want a Starky star, but I also don't want the disappointment!!

Kwick share with us your tips! Grin

SuchaJem · 13/06/2016 18:05

Kwick God I hope that's the case. I might do a test later or tomorrow. I'm 10 DPO today. Unless starky lurks there is no one to tell me off!

What is an SA by the way?

Ooh wingjng that's promising!! Are you going to test?

Hello skip good to see you! Have missed you BrewCake sounds like a mystery cycle for you, this could be the way forward!

Thanks lovely and fx for you... When are you testing?

Kwick I'm always up for a TWW tip Halo

kwick · 13/06/2016 17:45

LOL wing just laughing at trying to catch up IF ONLY this were the case!

fxskip welcome back! It may just be am old wives tale... But this was how I consoled myself after the many IUIs I did as I often then had to jump on a plane...

If any of you want me to repeat the other implantation/2ww tips I have gathered just say the word!

LovelyFishy · 13/06/2016 17:41

I'm loving your positive thinking Kwick!

Wing temps going up is a good sign right? Fx for you! Trying to time a pregnancy is a way to go mad. We were aiming for summer but current due date for this month would be late February!

I'm dangerously getting my hopes up... I don't feel pregnant but still got quite a lot of cm for me!

Glad you're feeling a bit better today Jem. Smile

Welcome Modest!

FXSkip · 13/06/2016 17:39

Hi All - I'm back bitches Grin

Thanks for asking after me sucha, I was away on my holiday where there was zero wifi, but had an amazing time so its all good - just took me about a week to recover from jetlag and to catch up with you all. Kwick is that true about flying?! I never knew that!

Massive congrats to ever too - such happy news!

Somehow I'm on CD27, with no idea if I OV'd or DTD at the appropriate time due to holidays and last cycles surprise 39day bonanza. Interested to see when AF will rear her ugly head!

WingingIt83 · 13/06/2016 17:02

AF now 2 days late however I keep telling myself that it probably isn't really, and that because I've only monitored cycles in last few months, there's a good chance I've previously had longer cycles anyway.
Saying that my temps have increased significantly over the last week, CM is still there (which Ovia tells me one day is a symptom of conception and another day tells me it's a sign AF arriving!!). Find myself going to the loo for a knicker check at every opportunity.

The temp thing is really confusing me and making my suddenly doubt I ever ovulated in FW (stopped opking after CD19 after I got what I thought was a peak) as I didn't really get a temperature jump after those days, but it's been going up and up since CD25. Had much more cramping than usual in last few days, but now wondering if the added supplements I've thrown at my body since Ov to length luteal phase are causing that and just going to delay AF.

Who knows. I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot but look at me! How you ladies who've been trying longer are so measured I don't know- I salute you! I think part of my impatience is that we were kind of aiming to get pg at similar time to SIL so the cousins would be close and we'd share maternity leave time, but she's now 13 weeks complete with scan to prove it and it's not like you can catch up with this sort of thing!

kwick · 13/06/2016 16:59

canters I wonder if you are still lurking...I miss you Sad

sucha they say flying can help with implantation... Just saying....

snarky there are ways round poor sperm quality but b4 you explore those maybe it is worthwhile to do a SA? That way you know what you are dealing with?

I understand feeling of despondency - I am right there too - I will be 42 in a few weeks but I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT MY TIME HAS PASSED!!! I am going to be pregnant with a beautiful healthy baby very soon!

Welcome modest!

SuchaJem · 13/06/2016 16:30

Hi modest yes jump on board. Sorry you've been waiting so long.

How is everyone today? I'm feeling a bit less miserable - yay! Still don't think it's my month but am kind of making my peace with that, and mentally preparing for cycle 7.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 13/06/2016 16:12

Hi can I join? I'm pretty terrible at keeping up with threads but could use some support and you guys seem like a right scrumptious bunch.

Stats
Age: 27
TTC #1
Cycle number ?? (Over 2 years, lost count!)
CD 38 (PB Personal Worst 40 days)

I'm holding out to test. AF seems to know the minute I actually believe I might be pg and then waves the red flag.

SuchaJem · 13/06/2016 00:51

Snarky and lovely - was going to write a very similar post myself. On cycle 6 and feel like AF is coming. Starting to feel really low and somewhat despairing about it, like it might not ever happen. Am aware the more I stress the less likely it is to happen, but the longer this goes on the more I want it and the more upset I get.

Keep telling myself it is normal to take couples up to a year. Really hope we don't have to wait that long.

LovelyFishy · 12/06/2016 23:20

Snarky I know what you mean. I'm currently cycle 10, never imagined getting pregnant would be this hard!!

Currently cd 26, normally 28 day cycles. I'm not going to test until I'm actually late, just gonna wait for the bitch to show up. Nothing feels different this month to any other month.

Went to a friends child's 1st birthday yesterday. Lots of babies and so cute and so much fun, but now feeling quite bereft.

SnarkyGorgon · 12/06/2016 22:10

Fx for you nicky - our bodies are so infuriating and confusing, hope it sorts itself out soon

nicky883 · 12/06/2016 20:44

Alice yes the doctor told
Me that is normal to have some spiotting on the day but it continued for the next days as well and it was accompanied with period type cramping so i thought is af i still get some brown spotting when i wipe now but nothing red yet
What is even more weird is that i have EWCM what the hell is going on with this cycle ??
Still having af style cramps so o think she is just being a bitch and giving me false hopes !

SnarkyGorgon · 12/06/2016 20:34

Congrats ever fab news!

AF got me like clockwork on Friday, though super light this month which is weird and freaking me out a little. Not dealing very well with it to be honest. Also, OH and I did some research and it looks like his anxiety meds could be having a hideous effect on his sperm- fun times! Can't believe we're onto cycle 6 without even a sniff of a bfp, never thought it would be this hard.

Sorry for the wallowing, I know we're all in the same boat, ttc is a very lonely place and I'm desperately trying not to unleash all my crazy on my poor OH who is utterly convinced he's infertile and I'm going to leave him 😕

Fx crossed for all those in the tww, comisserations to all who were got by the witch. On we go to next month

Kathrino · 12/06/2016 17:45

Thanks bluebird! Good luck for your blood tests on Tues, I hope you get some answers this time.

bluebird3 · 12/06/2016 17:29

Fx for that egg to stay put kathrino!

Hope the jet lag doesn't stick around too long jem

I'm currently cd19 with day 21 bloods on tues. hopefully will get some clarity as last cycle's bloods were 'inconclusive'

Kathrino · 12/06/2016 16:00

Sorry for all those who've got AF, especially when it's come early. Total bugger.

FX for marmite and Jem and anyone else in the TWW!

I'm CD10 and desperately hoping that my current high stress levels will ensure that I don't ovulate until at least next Saturday as DH and I are in separate countries until Friday.

marmitetoast1 · 12/06/2016 15:52

Spending the first half of 2ww in San Fran definitely sounds like a plan Jem! I'll be off on holiday in Italy for the second week of 2ww... Eek!
Mood swings and feeling emotional could be part of jet lag too?

SuchaJem · 12/06/2016 13:18

Oh Alice that sucks, 5 days is really early. I'd see my GP too. FlowersChocolate

Welcome to the TWW marmite. All the crazy welcome. I'm halfway through. Spent the first half in sunny San Francisco - very distracting. Back
Home now, This week is where the fun starts. Predominant feeling right now is jet lag!

Also had mood swings being shitty with DH and crying. All equals PMS.

One week to go!

marmitetoast1 · 12/06/2016 13:11

Hi all! CD 17 here and just coming to the end of fw here (well, I think! Based mainly on cm and Ovia! Still a bit clueless!) so shortly entering 2ww. This will be my first proper 2ww really as last cycle we had just randomly had unprotected sex a few times with no idea of timings! Managed to dtd quite a bit in the end this time after DH recovered from various illnesses! So we'll see... cue the craziness! Will be interested to see length of cycle this time... hoping it might have shortened a bit. I'm guessing it probably should have if i'm right on ov/fw timing.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday and no one going too crazy in 2ww. Who's next to test?

MmmMalbec · 12/06/2016 10:30

Thanks Alice. You too. Have you tried temping? I found it helped me to confirmed I'd OVed when I came off the pill a few years ago. I've just started again this time but I don't know if I'm too late in my cycle. I'll see what happens any way.

AliceScarlett · 12/06/2016 07:50

Nicky I always spot after a smear, it's normal, it might just be that.

AliceScarlett · 12/06/2016 07:49

Malbec Sorry to hear you're experiencing similar. I really don't know about ov'ing if bleeding.... Logically it seems less likely but I think that is all we can say. Without a scan it's not really possible to see if you're ov'ing or not.... Right? So idk. I hope you get some answers.

AliceScarlett · 12/06/2016 07:45

Jem we're no longer cycle buddies :( The witch got me 5 days early, I've decided that counts as irregular cycles and will make another gp appt if my tests come back normal and I don't need one anyway. NHS choices says you can have pcos without any symptoms. I want to be tested for that. I know that's demanding, but I know something isn't right.

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 21:08

Hi guys
Just popping over from graduates where Lauren is offering 30 internet cheapie pg test to a good home or they will go in the bin Smile
