Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Sorry about AF jem and moose Flowers

Where are you going in Italy marmite? Sounds amazing. I left the opks at home for my holiday. It's the last thing you will want to be thinking about when you are trying to relax and enjoy yourself.

ema I'm considering a break from trying for the next 2-3 months as its my dsis' wedding next May in America and I'm the maid of honour. It makes me feel sick to stop trying (we're on cycle 16) but then again do to want to miss the wedding. Sad

emalady · 16/06/2016 20:01

Hi guys, definitely agree with getting on with life, we stopped actively trying when I changed jobs as I am the main earner and I needed maternity pay rather than allowance but I'm regretting it now as it feels like we have been going forever when we only started trying again properly and making a note of cycles etc for the last 3 months. Still didn't make too much effort not to conceive during the couple of cycles "off".

I'm back following slimming world and trying to get on with life rather than living cycle to cycle but AF is due in the next couple of days and I fear another melt down. good luck to all testing or trying to hold off over the next few days.

kwick · 16/06/2016 19:51

ni I am so sorry... My AF did finally arrive last Friday. Now waiting for next one whilst trying to lose weight surely eating two burrata cheeses helps with that?

Wow 10 weeks already ni!!! I am so proud of you!

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 17:50

Moose! Forgot to reply to you. Sorry AF got you too. What cycle are you on now? Hope you enjoy your Hol xx

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 14:34

Hello ni for some reason it stuck in my mind that you were cycle 7. That gives me hope! Did you do anything differently?

Really thrilled everything is going well, do you have a scan pic?

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 14:29

Oh balls just saw your post Jem...sorry about that bloody AF. Month 7 was finally the lucky one for us though. My fingers are always crossed for you! In the meantime enjoy all the football beers xxx

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 14:28

Hi ladies! Just checking in...any BFPs I missed?? How are you all doing? Jem I hope that flow of doom stays away!!!

Kwick, I had a read of the last few pages but couldn't figure if AF had finally arrived for you?

Totally agree with those saying keep making plans and getting on with your life!... Although I'll be honest I struggled with that! It's so tempting to live month to month.

Bump is 10weeks tomorrow...we paid for private scan last week as we were telling my parents...everything was healthy and we heard a heartbeat! Thank goodness!! My mother nearly fell on the floor with shock...she'd prefer us to be married first so took her a while to get excited....not exactly a perfect movie response...but that's my mother..I kind of expected that!!

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 14:24

Winging I would frer it if I were you. Fingers crossed!

Day 1 of cycle 7 for me today

/big sigh

kwick · 16/06/2016 11:07

Sorry nicky and lovelyfishy Flowers

peaches I am ok.. Anxious for next month to go past so I can start IVF again - everything is ready, including super magic potion, I just need my body to play along!
Fx for you.

Sorry wing Flowers

So I am on my way back from Venice - at least the trip i saw a bit more, although all work related so no retail therapy possible.
Bit stressed as need to get something out to new boss today but system I need to pull reports is offline - so will need to reconnect tonight when back home.
I have had wierd leg pain over last fee weeks... Got a feeling it is ciatica...

WingingIt83 · 16/06/2016 10:06

Is there a point that FRER stop working? As might get one today but wait until Saturday to test? (Although that could be awkward as have both parents and in laws descending on us that day )

marmitetoast1 · 16/06/2016 09:45

wingingit I have the 'one step' ICs from Amazon and I'm pretty sure the sensitivity wasn't as good as Frer. They might do different ones though I guess. Fingers crossed for you!! Will you wait til tomorrow morning now to test again?

WingingIt83 · 16/06/2016 09:32

And yes am late by about 3-4 days.

Other weird thing is, and sorry for TMI but dtd last night (first time since fw) and during was fine but afterwards was incredibly painful all round my lady bits. Peeing after the event burned horribly and everything seemed very tender. Fine again this morning though Confused. Hormone change??

WingingIt83 · 16/06/2016 09:27

It was my first month opking and I think got a peak on cd17 with small amount of ewcm on cd19 so if I ovulated on cd19 then I'm currently 14dpo. It was a cheapy from amazon not a FRER and I can't see what sensitivity it is from the label. It's called 'one step' .

marmitetoast1 · 16/06/2016 09:10

Thanks all for opk info! Have realised that I'm going to be in Italy on holiday at the start of next cycle so thinking I prob won't take opks with me as will be better just to relax and enjoy holiday and lots of dtd?! Definitely opks for the following cycle though!!

Sorry for bfn wingingit, no AF yet though so you're not out yet!
And sorry for AF moose, onwards!

Good luck tomorrow alice hope you get you promotion. I'm interviewing for a promotion tomorrow too, eek.

Hope GP appointment is productive on Monday for you bluebird

CD21 here, so not much to report!

Mooseville · 16/06/2016 08:55

AF here too with avengence!

At least I can enjoy the Engkand match with a beer or two guilt free!

Right, next month I'm giving DP the app to see if that helps with pressure, I'm thinking maybe if he's prepared a few days before he might be more able?! It could backfire and make him worse but we'll see!

I'll have to catch up on the thread again, but having this week off work to relax first and then I'll jump back in!! Sorry for AF though jem

SuchaJem · 16/06/2016 08:37

Sorry it was negative wingjng Sad still no AF though - are you now late?

Bluebird keep us posted. If you aren't ovulation there are things they can do to help.

13 DPO and had brown blood when I wiped this am. Think will fully come on later this morning. Ready for day one now!

bluebird3 · 16/06/2016 07:27

Good luck today snowdog.

After my day 21 bloods I've been aske to come in to speak to the doctor about the results...as this was the second round of bloods (first inconclusive) I think this means it has confirmed I'm not ovulating. Even though I have regular 29 day cycles. Dot know what's wrong with me but I guess I'll know more after my appointment to discuss on Monday. Confused

bluebird3 · 16/06/2016 07:25

winging how many dpo are you? Was it a FRER?

HankPeach · 16/06/2016 07:25

Ah sorry to hear that *winging.

I woke up to massive temp dip and so pretty sure I'm out. All signs point to cycle 6. Sad.

Good luck jem and everyone else on the approach to final straight.
bluebird think we were ov twins but my cycle is much shorter. Fingers crossed for you on the 23rd.

marmite I really rate opks. I'd test from several days before your expected fertile window. You'll only need to do that for a couple of cycles. If you're regular you can then just test around key dates. My opks are strongest about 9pm. I only test twice a day of I've noticed them getting stronger. Good luck!

WingingIt83 · 16/06/2016 06:50

Tested this morning. ...BFN Sad

SuchaJem · 15/06/2016 22:59

Fx for you winging if you are testing tomorrow xx

SuchaJem · 15/06/2016 22:55

How's everyone else? Starky are you still around? Hope bean is behaving? Kat how are you? Moose? Orchard? Inspectorpenguin? Xx

SuchaJem · 15/06/2016 22:52

I'm alright thanks hon. Got my head around cycle 7 and feeling ready for it. Good lucky Friday!

AliceScarlett · 15/06/2016 21:15

I'll be changing jobs too if I don't get the promotion on Friday. Eep.

Tests results all came back normal, but as AF was literally a week early I've booked another gp appt, will try and have a scan for pcos if gp thinks it is needed. I don't think irregular 1 day periods and bleeding in between is OK.

Jem, hope you're OK. X

SuchaJem · 15/06/2016 18:09

Glad you're feeling better Nicky. I feel terrible on day 1, world ending kind of awful, but am usually back to normal by day 3.

Marmite I'm a big OPK fan. For one thing it's just nice to get a second line on a stick HmmBlush but seeing the lh surge is so reassuring for me. Let's me pin point ovulation more accurately. It tends to come a day or two after I first notice EWCM.

I start testing from day 10 and increase to twice a day on days 14-15-16 as that's when I usually ovulate.
