Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

winging I had that last month but the other way round, I'm sure EPO shortened my cycle by about 3 days and made it more painful!!
jem I'm on cycle 6 now, however in reality we've missed fertile week at least three times for different reasons, so I can't say it's actually been 6, prob more like 3 really...
I'm just enjoying AF by doing a French picnic in our living room, DP thought I was crazy getting the rug out and everything, but ate Pate, drank red wine and baked macaroons (and watched the football! Hmm) so it's not all bad....
Fingers crossed for all those testing!!

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 19:52

Starky! 😂

I am soo far past my due date. My cycle is normally tops 32 days. (Once went to 40!!) I tested on CD42 today. BFN and still no AF!

TMI Beware - I've got plenty of clear cm. Slightly sticky. Had terrible back and uterus pain since I found out. My mood has gone right down the pan too.

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 18:21

I got a starky Star myself and I am quite proud of it.
Also I honestly think testing early brings nada good. Because of chemical pg and all that
Dont do it! Work for your star!

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 18:20

Thanks Fx
Hoping for a full sac too Smile

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 17:54

Sorry and welcome pesky! When is your AF due? I'll add you to the list

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 17:53

Lol starky good to see you! Glad all is well, snoring and wind aside Smile

Modest when is your AF due? If you tested early it could be a false positive for sure.

Winging hope you get some clarity soon Sad

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/06/2016 16:19

Hiya modestGrin that made me giggle and feel a bit famous all at the same time!

My snoring (previously known as cute snuffling) has increased to such a volume and timbre that if I stop, Dh has to come and make sure that I've not died. Except the other night, when he had to come check that it was actually me snoring and not a wounded escaped sheep bleating outside our rural holiday home. And then last night when he woke me up to whisper "babe...your breathing is weird, be normal...please!? You're burping and laughing in your sleep!" Which I suppose is only marginally better than him thinking my farts smelled so bad that I'd actually shit myself.

Mind, the mystery died in our relationship in the first fortnight when I accidentally trumped and tried to blame it on the dog AND the leather sofa. Then got the emergency trots after drinking too much jäger/red bull and he was in the shower. How he still fancies me enough to want to have sex is beyond me!

Thank you FX

I hope I won't be here for too many cycles either. May your next cycle be your lucky one :)

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 15:40

Still early days they winging keeping FX!

Starky Hii! [waves] you don't know me but I know you #lurker Blush
I was hoping by joining this thread I could hold out testing Starky style but from my previous posts you can probably see that's not gone well..

WingingIt83 · 17/06/2016 15:13

modest 14 or 15dpo I think

I've a horrible feeling that the supplements I started taking to length luteal are the cause of the late AF as I think b6 can frequently cause this.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/06/2016 14:56

Right, I'm back off my holidays to sunny exotic north Wales! How are we all? Just catching up on what I've missed or would anyone care to summarise?

Welcome newbies! 🎀🌞🚗

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 14:44

How many DPO are you now winging FX for you finding a test and BFP over the weekend!

How likely is it that a superdrug cheapie has given me a false negative? I've only tested the once this morning. I've only got a CB Digi left or the HCG strips that came free with my opks. Would they work?

I don't want to get my hopes up if AF is just going to turn up though. Sounds like we're in the same boat with the crazy cycles FX. Have you had any drs tests done?

FXSkip · 17/06/2016 14:12

FX for you wingingit, I know how frustrating it is when you are stuck in limbo! Last cycle was 11 days longer than normal for me, and this cycle I am already 3 days late again so I am now wondering if I also have PCOS or something, I can't see why else my cycle would suddenly be erratic. My logical mind tells me I've only been off the pill for 8 months, that is most likely why.

Ever congrats, wishing you a happy, healthy 8 months and best of luck that your sac is full (that sounded weirder than I meant it to)

Welcome pesky ahhh to be on cycle 2 again gazes wistfully into the sunset I want to say fingers crossed that you aren't here long, but I've learned so much on this journey I don't regret any of it. I do hope that you find us to be a useful, supportive community here though!

peskyfeelings · 17/06/2016 13:12

Hello everyone,

Could I join your thread please? I'm stressing already and it's only been 5 minutes since started trying!

Thanks modest and ni.
Trying to keep distracted as it is very early days so anything can happen Confused

WingingIt83 · 17/06/2016 12:59

I'm still none the wiser. My local boots had no frer so as DH is working in London today I've sent him off on a mission to get some so I can hopefully test in the morning.
I did get some cheapies in b&m yesterday as the said they were 'early detection' but when I opened the packet they were one step ones like I already had. Tested last night anyway but BFN, not that I'm surprised as it was evening after all.

Ni4444 · 17/06/2016 08:42

Oh congrats Evergreen!! Lovely news!!

Jem I'm not really on MN at all anymore...too exhausted for much!!

Kwick enjoy your Friday evening!!

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 08:37

Evergreen Congratulations! I hope your pregnancy is a breeze :) And thanks for the tips; I've used opks and did not get on with them at all.

Evergreen17 · 17/06/2016 08:28

Hi ladies!
Still lurking over here Blush

If someone finds this useful, I was fed up with TTC and all the stress and worry and disappointment.

So I joined weight watchers to have a little project that would totally take my mind off TTC. I lost 8 kilos and a bit Smile

The only thing I did use was a Clear Blue Fertility monitor. I paid 20 pounds on ebay. The OPKs were not working for me and so much time dedicated to them.

So on the second cycle using this monitor (8th month TTC) we dtd on the morning when I got my peak. That was the lucky one.

I am not saying the monitor is a miracle worker but it was good for me to see that my ovulation dates were different every month and I found reading the sticks too hard.

I was also taking EPO and using conceive plus

Smile

5+1 very early days but I saw my bean yesterday. It is just a pregnancy sac. Maybe full, maybe empty, I shall know in 2 weeks

Bests of luck Flowers

Modestandatinybitsexy · 17/06/2016 08:28

Kat I know how you feel, I haven't been all consumed by tracking but the last week of 2ww is excruciating!

I've tested this morning and got a BFN on CD42. I'm sure AF will come along once she's finished screwing with me. Sad

I've got a busy weekend to keep my mind of it and I don't have to figure out an excuse for why I'm not drinking.

Ema how is slimming world working out for you? I really need to get my BMI sorted out as I'm sure my weight is the root of these issues.

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 08:06

Lovely pic ni, keep us posted on how you are getting on. Are you on the grad thread?

Good to see you Kat, hope you stick around. Keep us posted re dog / bfp - hope both are coming soon.

Fx for all TWW souls xx

kwick · 17/06/2016 07:40

kat I do not want you to go!!!!! Please take care of yourself. Let us know when you get your bfp.

Lovely pictures ni!!!

Well thank God it is Friday! I have a really intense day today and then leaving drinks for one of my closest colleagues at work - who is moving to another office (in another country) as his uk visa cannot be renewed.

Happy Friday everyone!

Ni4444 · 16/06/2016 22:52

Jem I'm afraid it's one of those frustrating ones where we only got one shot at it, and I didn't think we'd have a chance that month, but we dtd on ovulation day and it randomly decided to work! I was taking agnus castus that month, EPO and vitamin b I think it was.

Here's the scan! Was so relieved there was actually something in there...Although the bloody morning sickness should have convinced me!!

Kwick I'm so glad!! You're getting back on track! God, Italian cheese...how is one supposed to resist?!!!

Kat do keep checking in...it's good to hear from you!

I get where you're coming from Kat. I just got fitted yesterday for the dress I nearly didn't buy for my friends wedding as "I'll be so pregnant by then!". Take care of yourself and let us know when you get your bfp!

KatOnATinRo0f · 16/06/2016 21:07

Hi everyone
I'm still here, sort of.
Loads of new faces I don't recognise I hope you are all looking after the thread well :)
I'm on cd 23 of cycle 10 now. Can kinda feel AF cramps so don't reckon this month is my month. Not really bothered any more. Stopped OPK stopped hcg stopped ovia (just had to log in to check where I was in my cycle as I had cramps and thought it might be later). Stopped thinking about it all the time. Feel a bit peeved that I've put nearly an entire year on hold for it and am not pregnant yet so now am going to not really bother. If it happens it happens. If it doesn't I'll get a dog. I might pop in every now and then to see how everyone's getting on but so many new people who don't know me don't really want to see my random warblings every now and then!
Love to you all xxx
