Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Sounds like you're doing well holding out in limbo land so far wingintit! Fx for a Frer and a bfp today!!!

I had some quite pin pointed pain on right lower side of abdomen last night. DH was all like oooh implantation pain! I was like err what have you been reading?! Seems to be an expert all of a sudden! Probs just ate something a bit off...right?! Grin

WingingIt83 · 19/06/2016 20:16

ema rant away, it is all very OTT and commercial these days

marmite sorry about the promotion :-(

WingingIt83 · 19/06/2016 20:11

marmite no not yet as had very busy weekend and DH failed in his task to purchase on friday! So I'm still in complete limbo (and now totally get the schrodinger references). But as I've had a lot to focus on this weekend I've kind of been okay with not knowing as with each day that AF doesn't arrive I'm hoping it's an increased chance of it having worked!

I will hopefully get one tomorrow :-)

Evergreen17 · 19/06/2016 20:10

Ema same here with father's day Envy

emalady · 19/06/2016 18:25

On a completely unrelated note I am hating fathers day this year. My Dad died quite a while ago and I'm getting annoyed with TV ads for stuff for Dad and facebook full of my school friends showing off their kids -argh!!! Sorry, rant over.

marmitetoast1 · 19/06/2016 14:11

Did you get hold of a Frer yet wingingit?

marmitetoast1 · 19/06/2016 14:10

Sorry about the job Alice, that sucks. I didn't get my internal promotion on Friday either, also basically been screwed over, feeling really shit about it all Angry. I feel trapped as having worked there for over 2 years I'm entitled to the fullest maternity pay package which is really good Envy. Having this one step up would have just been ideal. Also, have been quite focussed on this opportunity coming up, doing the application and preparing for interview has been a good distraction from TTC so far.... worried I'm going to become much more obsessive now!!

Sorry about car Bluebird, how annoying! Hope GP appointment is helpful tomorrow, let us know how you get on.

Allotment therapy sounds ideal Kwick!

Moose indoor French picnic is the memories my childhood is made of! Smile Can't wait to do things like that with children in the future! we went to an outdoor play last night and had a lovely picnic with macarons and lots of nice bread and cheese too! Your baking today sounds more exciting than mine though - I'm just about make a batch of sugar-free granola!

Starky - Hi! That's the first thing that has made me laugh all weekend! Grin

Hope everyone else is well and having good, relaxing weekends! All quiet on the TTC front here for now really... CD24....about 5/6 days post OV (I think).

SuchaJem · 19/06/2016 13:42

Oh no! Sorry about your car bluebird,
Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

Sorry about the job Alice, look forward to having you back in a few months hopefully with a bfp soon to follow.

Sorry it was bfn ema, no one like a FRER waste, feels like an extra loss! I have some saved in the cupboard. As skip said, I'll be in the delivery room before they come out haha. Better luck next month xx

emalady · 19/06/2016 13:09

bluebird definitely have to do what is right for you, if I could go back we would not have stopped trying as it just feels like we have been trying for ages although not as long as you (started August but only started trying again after the break for 2 cycles so have nothing to complain about). It might be good to take a break though if you are also getting over stressed by it all. Personally I’m finding it difficult not to slip down into depression again (been on tabs before but not since I met DH).

modest I have only just started back at slimming world, I was doing well but gained back everything I lost after a couple of months of not really tracking and comfort eating! I’m doing it online with a paper journal at the minute which I like but I keep thinking I might have to give up online and start going to an actual group to help me stick with it better. My BMI is likely to be part of my issue, I am managing to ovulate despite being obese but hoping losing a bit will help get a sticky bean! Also like slimming world as you can continue to follow it once you conceive without issue.

ever congrats, good luck for the repeat scan in a couple of weeks!

pesky and peace hello! Welcome. Hope we can be helpful and that you can try and chill and enjoy DTD without getting too stressed!
Alice good luck finding a new job and feeling more appreciated, might even help to have something new and positive.

I’m out for this month, gave in and tested one day late BFN and then AF came along 2 hours later, what a waste of a FRER. Ah well. Put me down for the 21st July please. Had a little tiny cry but not gone as mad as last month so that’s a plus, right?

bluebird3 · 19/06/2016 12:12

Thanks moose.

Good luck Alice. I'm thinking of having a break too. If I get pregnant the next three months I'd miss my dsis wedding (I'm the matron of honour) as its in the States next May. Gonna wait to see what the doctor says tomorrow about my bloods. Really nervous she'll tell me I'm a dried up prune and less fertile than a 80 year old.

Anyone heard from snowdog? She was testing Thursday from her IUI.... Hope she's upduffed and feeling in it!

Mooseville · 19/06/2016 09:38

Sorry about the job Alice - fingers crossed in three months it all happens for you.

bluebird aargh that's so frustrating. It is only money, but it just adds to the stress. I hope you got your Taco Bell!

Nice weekend here, a long (8mile!) walk yesterday, stopped for a couple of pints and lunch midway. Having a bit of a baking frenzy, it's creme brûlée macaroons and soda bread today!

kwick · 19/06/2016 09:09

alice sorry about the job. Best of luck in your endeavours!

AliceScarlett · 19/06/2016 00:25

X-post with JS:

I didn't get the promotion, I think they're discriminating but that's another thread. Long story short I'm taking 3 months off ttc to get another job and qualify for decent maternity leave. Last thing I want to do but I'm not sitting in that job for what could be years on end, 6 cycles shows I'm not super fertile. But there we go. Hopefully I'll be back in September.
Wishing everyone loads of luck and BFPs, might even have to throw in some , desperate times....

Love to you all xx

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 16:12

Thanks kwick and you're right, it could have been worse and it's just money at the end of the day. I've never hit anything before but my mind was elsewhere with stress.

How is everyone else doing? Would love to see a bfp to cheer up the thread.

kwick · 18/06/2016 15:35

Feeling a bit better after some allotment plants retail therapy. We are just going to pop to my mum's to change into our gardening gear, and then more digging for me!

What a fcuker bluebird! Try and take a zen like approach - at least no one was hurt.

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 14:36

Thanks sucha but unfortunately it's getting worse! Just went to the shops to buy some paint for a nice relaxing crafty day, and I hit a parked car and did damage! Now I'm going to have to pay for that. The guy has my info and I hate the stress/uncertainty of how much it's going to cost. SadSadSad

SuchaJem · 18/06/2016 12:34

Welcome peace. We have snowdog on the this thread who is another Brit living in the us Smile

Hope the weekend picks you both up kwick and bluebird.

bluebird3 · 18/06/2016 12:23

Sorry your feeling down in the dumps today kwick. I am too (over a friend fall out) and am treating myself with a Taco Bell. Know I really shouldn't with the diet but it really does make me feel better. Jut a fat girl at heart.

Welcome pesky and peace!

kwick · 18/06/2016 11:11

Nice to hear from you evergreen

Welcome pesky and peace!

Hiya starky! Did you have a nice holiday? How is the bump? LOL at your snoring.

Feeling extremely frustrated... I need my lease for a remortgage application, yet cannot find it anywhere even though I read tgrough it just the other day!!! Really my flat is not that big...Angry

Got such a strong loneliness feeling yesterday when out with work colleagues... Still feeling down in the dumps... Maybe it is hormonal Confused I am going to give myself a mini-facial and see if that perks me up...

PeaceLilly1 · 18/06/2016 04:16

Hi ladies, may I join? Been lurking for a while - sorry!

Name: Peace
Age: 34
Ttc #1 (I have a puppy and she is really my first baby)
Cycle: 3
CD: 24

I am a Brit but I live in the USA and I rely on mumsnet to supply some normal attitudes to this whole bizarre process! This thread in particular has helped me feel a) less homesick and b) less crazy, so a big thank you from me and my DH!

Mooseville · 17/06/2016 23:31

Enjoy your bath fishy 🛁

Mooseville · 17/06/2016 23:29

I'm off the EPO Jem Didn't see any extra CM and the early cycle freaked me out. Been a steady 27 day other than then, just felt as though I was messing with Mother Nature when I shouldn't be!!!

LovelyFishy · 17/06/2016 22:47

On the "it's not all bad" front - I am enjoying the luxury of a bubble bath! Grin

SuchaJem · 17/06/2016 21:37

Moose I love your style. Are you off epo now then? I don't know whether to take it again or not.
