Anyone done or doing Clomid/ovidrel/IUI?

Would love to hear from anyone taking this route ttc. I'm DOR and dh has low morphology but an amazing count and motility. So whenever af shows up in two weeks or so I'm starting Clomid, then doing a hcg trigger injection and then IUI. Hoping for success getting 2-3 good eggs to drop and putting the swimmers practically next to them!

Af showed up late and I'm starting the Clomid again today. Let's hope this cycle is successful.

Genghis it hasn't yet but will as my temps have been dropping. Second month I've been spotting for so long so definitely going to ask about it at my appointment next Friday.

Star some people have the same symptoms as AF so you're still in with a chance - fingers crossed for Wednesday!

I have my second acupuncture session tonight. Now that I'm used to the weird tugging sensation hopefully I will be more relaxed about it!

Welcome mrsunsure, sorry you find yourself here. It's awful long term ttc isn't it. I've been going about 19 months now and get so sad some days it's unreal.

What cd are you? I'm 10dpo on my first Clomid+trigger cycle and feeling my usual premenstrual full boobs. No other symptoms all cycle except a really big right ovary on ov day! Not feeling hopeful at all. Had two follicles day before trigger at 19mm and 15mm so one possibly two eggs.

So sorry snow, really thought this could be it for you. Good luck with cycle 2, I have my fingers crossed.

I'm currently 9dpo with no symptoms so not feeling hopeful at all. Period due next Wednesday but my usual cycle length takes me to sat so if I get that far, I'll test then.

Same thing next cycle as I responded well enough for them. Apparently I will probably have more mature follies next time as my ovaries will be more primed. Or some such thing. Second times the charm. Lol.

Hi Star, I got a positive on the ovulation tests and then I had the Day 21 blood test and it was a very high reading so the doctor was happy I ovulated.

I'm hoping the change in taking it from days 5-9 to days 3-7 may bring ovulation forward a little.

Just keep having intercourse broody, you have a really good chance with those follicles. Good luck!

Very weird with the spotting maple. When I had acupuncture my period came 3 days early so maybe it is that. Definitely mention it at your appointment though.

How are you tracking ovulation Julia? Did you definitely ovulate on 50mg? Hope round 2 is it for you.

Good luck snow! You must be about 14dpo so if your period hasn't arrived, that's a really promising sign. Fingers crossed Smile

The test is at 745am and they will call with the results by 4pm. So I'll be a joy all day waiting! I really hope it worked but I'm too nervous to get my hopes up!

I'll find out tomorrow morning if my IUI was worth it! I'm so lucky I can get it on dh's health insurance over here so it only costs us about $150 in co-pays. I'm refusing to spend $$ on FRERs so I'm punishing myself by waiting for the blood test! It really could go either way. I've got bright blue veins on my boobs and arms. I feel vaguely bleugh, which is probably due to the heat here and the fact I ate my last dairy milk bar for lunch! But I also feel gross and crampy like af will appear any minute. It's hard to stay optimistic but at least I have insurance to pay for 5 more tries if this one is a bust.

broody good luck! I had similar follies on trigger day (19mm and 14.5mm that they said would most likely be 22mm and 18mm by ovulation) so you've got a good chance!

I'm unexplained too but getting it on nhs luckily. Well let's hope cycle 2 on clomid works! The 18mm could still pop too right so more of a chance than first cycle?? X

maple not this month no, im only on Clomid cycle 2 but im tempted to do it next month. We're unexplained infertility so I'm not sure whether iui would be worth it just yet, trying to convince dp to do it but £750 is a lot of money if it doesn't work Sad
