I read somewhere (think it was this site that gave really good advice.)

Am 3 months pregnant now not having had a period since before dd was conceived nearly a year ago. Was feeding on demand (3 feeds during day) when not working, and expressing 3 times during the day when working. Was only feeding once in the night and conceived on first occasion of fertile cervical mucus I had felt since dd born.

Am still bf morning and night. Expressing became impossible as soon as I got pregnant. I felt pregnant immediately and knew after 13 days.

HTH and good luck.

Maybe no night feeds is the answer.
My dd2 is 9 months and the midwives told me that bf would only work as contraception if I fed her every two hours, which I don't, I work part time. I haven't had a period yet though.

My DS was 7 months old when I became pregnant with DS3. He was on solids but had a breastfeed at each meal and anytime inbetween he wanted. He was sleeping all night so no night feeds.
