Hey! Me and Dh are now on cycle 11 of TTC #2

Since I started my periods they were always 5/6 days long every 28 days, they have got quite heavy for 3 days of these 6. And i get a bit of pain but just uncomfortable more than anything.

The last 2 months AF has only lasted 2/3 days, its more like blood mixed with EWCM and have been med flow max i reckon. Also they have been horrendously painful just in my left side. pain only lasts about a few hours. This cycle i even threw up but that could have been the pain more than anything.

I dont see why they have suddenly changed after 9 years. Nothing has changed that could effect them.

Has anyone experienced this?

xx

Check out Baby centre on subject 'secondary infertility'
It just explains that it is not uncommon to take up to two years to conceive #2
As you say you're young and they won't be rushed into doing tests too quickly.

Kellz92 · 12/05/2016 12:16

Not good.

The nurse practitioner took all my info and got advice from the GP and he said i have to stop stressing, im only 23 and have conceived before so ill be fine. And the nurse suggested just give it a few more months then see the GP to be referred. No bloods nothing. But im going to get some multi vitamins with Iron in them and some vitamin D to see if they help with the tiredness

We have decided to go back after our holiday in August together to be referred xx

I'm scared of the same, right now I feel a little crazy, and I'm sure everyone else thinks I'm crazy, gotta love that feeling lol. I done another test this morning, I'm thinking it was a negative, but one of the girls on here said she noticed a faint line, noooo idea though.

Kellz92 · 09/05/2016 11:20

Apart from still feeling really rotten I'm not bad. Nervous for my appointment on Wednesday. Scared they think it's all in my head. How are you doing? Xx

Hi Kellz, So sorry i haven't given an update sooner. I am now on 11 dpo, I did test on 9dpo and got a BFN however, my symptoms seems to have eased off these past day or two, and today now my breasts are tender and i'm having ache's in my lower stomach. still no idea what's going on, or whether i'm just over thinking things.
I looked at the test i done on 9dpo a couple of hours later and found a faint line, which i think might be evap? really hoping it's not though.

I haven't worked out all the abbreviations yet, what does dd mean? Lol! I had a chat with my friend last night who I mentioned to you yesterday and she said it took her 9months to conceive #1 and 11months to conceive #2. Sometimes it's just how it works out and doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong so please don't be too hard on yourself. Your mind may be playing tricks on you but then again it might not. You will find out either way next week so let's keep our fingers crossed and think positive, if it hasn't happened this month have a cry, vent to us and then keep going! It will happen for you just keep thinking that. I was desperate for #2 when my little boy was just 9months old and now he's 4! Due to one thing and another the timing just hasn't been right so now I'm being really impatient and can't wait for AF to be finished so we can get going again haha! Xx

Kellz92 · 06/05/2016 12:16

I have been quite positive until month 8/9 lol

But hubby got his results and his are satisfactory for his age and should cause no problem in conceiving.
So its me lol

Its just annoying how i feel now, like i did with DD. Constantly exhausted, headaches, nauseous, getting cramping/tightenings, my appetite is disappearing. But i know its my mind playing tricks as i have had that 2 bleeds

We will know next week.

We will all get there!! so glad after number two there will be no more....i said id never have any never mind 2 lol

xx

Try think positive! Having your little girl means you can get pregnant which is a plus! I have 3 people close to me (2 who are currently pregnant with #2 one with #3) and it took them all between 7 and 9 months to conceive number 2! One of my friends took forever with 1 and 2 to the point where just before first baby she was also considering something may be wrong but then it happened for her....and then she was prepared for it taking a while with #2. My little boy was a surprise too so this is my first time going through the "trying" phase and even though it's only been a couple of months im already feeling up and down about it....it's the not knowing isn't it and constantly thinking "will this month be THE month" be confident in yourself and your body! You can do this x

Kellz92 · 05/05/2016 14:49

Im just fed up now, im on cycle 11! My daughter was a surprise so im worried something is wrong. going to ask for bloods. Hubby just waiting for results to his SA

Why cant everything be simple? x

LauraK1987 · 05/05/2016 14:06

Ahh good stuff!!! In the mean time try relax and not stress about it too much (easier said than done I know!) x

LauraK1987 · 05/05/2016 14:06

It's horrible how they play tricks on us isn't it! There's so many different symptoms to look out for, as well as the obvious ones! We've only just started trying again in March for #2 so although I'm disappointed I'm not too disheartened! I'd be tempted to request bloods from Dr then?x

Kellz92 · 05/05/2016 14:04

Got the nurse practitioner wednesday morning :)

Sorry about your CP, i had one last year, my periods arent are lighter than normal as well as being lighter! Im having no positives just all neg, however i know a lady who was the same as me, dr did bloods a but later and she was 16 weeks gone! she gave up with the tests after 8 weeks, she was getting wee bleeds around the time AF would have been due too,

Who would have thought our bodies would be so cruel!! x

Hi ladies,

This does sound really confusing! I've had a similar experience this month with similar symptoms. My periods have always been very regular yet I didn't have a period since 27th Feb (off the pill) I started testing last week as I was having. Pregnancy symptoms i tested obsessively for about 5 days and had mixed results although at least 3 obvious positives. I also had the same sort of discharge you have described. Monday afternoon I had really bad cramps and a brownish/pinkish discharge the next day it was full on AF although a lot heavier than I have ever had and after having a look online and chatting to a few other ladies on here and it sounds like I could have a had a chemical pregnancy. I'm not saying you are/have and I don't want to worry you but it is difficult to pin point what's happening when you're having mixed signals and symptoms! I would try test again with a first response early testing kit as these are very sensitive, if still no luck persevere with a Drs appointment. Like the other ladies have pointed out these could very well be symptoms of pregnancy as there are so many! I have my fingers crossed you get some clear answers soon!x

Kellz92 · 05/05/2016 12:01

Since we started TTC i have had some cycles that werent my regular length, but i ignored that with ov dates etc. however this is very unusual. Just going to keep an eye and keep trying to get an appointment

OP posts:
hanflan · 05/05/2016 11:58

I was going to suggest GP too. Any usual discharge or bleeding should be checked out just in case!

Kellz92 · 05/05/2016 11:53

Ive been trying to get an appointment but just get told to call back next day grrr! they only have 2 out of 6 gps so arent taking future apps either.

Will keep trying

I'd perhaps consider a once over with a GP. There are a few things you should rule out.
