Hi all

I thought I'd start the June bus as I'm getting impatient!

I'm 31 (for a bit longer anyway), TTC#1. DH and I agreed to start TTC in May, but won't be ovulating till about the 24th. ETD 8th June! Feeling terrified and excited at the same time.

Join me if you will! Smile

tryingtowait how accurate was your estimate of ov date? Could it have happened later than you thought?

Eva30 · 07/06/2016 07:27

Can anyone who has had a BFP post a photo of their temp chart from ov to BFP please? Temp is supposed to stay up if egg is fertilised right? Here's my chart Sad

June Bus anyone?!
Tryingtowait · 07/06/2016 07:26

Well I tested this am it's bfn. I'm 2 days late and I just feel like I did when I was pregnant with ds. My boobs don't normally hurt like this when its af and I feel so nauseous but I can't be if a frer says no at 17dpo? :(

Eva30 · 07/06/2016 07:23

writer I'm glad she arrived to clear things up!
I'm feeling down today because my temp dropped 0.4 degree F. I never thought I'd ever say something so ridiculous! Think that means I'll be on the July bus too!

Writerwannabe83 · 07/06/2016 05:56

Don't worry bertie I didn't test, I'm not that crazy Grin

AF has arrived in all her glory this morning to the point I had to face my toddler asking why mommy's wee was red Grin

Anyway, I'm so relieved that I know where I stand now Smile

LilySnape · 07/06/2016 00:39

AF finally showed on the 1st and has now gone so hoping for a BFP next month

everdene · 06/06/2016 22:57

Yep the Witch got me...

Going to try SMEP this month!

Butterpuff · 06/06/2016 22:33

Gah, dh would like me to wait and test when he is home from work trip. So ill be hands off the sticks till Friday. Confused

Mbire · 06/06/2016 22:12

Hi Ginandjazzhands
Really nice to have someone my age. I just heard of a friend (36) who got married the month before me and is now pregnant which was lovely to hear. I told a few white lies! I figured that if there's a problem then I don't have time for them to say wait! The first tests were for things like thyroid problems, diabetes, can't remember what else. my poor husband was traumatised in a clinic where they locked him in a room and he had to find a means of getting some in a cup😂.
I find the day AF arrives so tough and then I pick myself up. I told my DH not to ask any questions about it because I didn't want to jinx it. He went a whole two days knowing I was late and both of us were so excited just to find out today it's another wasted month. It's sooooo frustratingSad

BertieBotts · 06/06/2016 22:07

Haha Friendly, that is weird.

Writer, step AWAY from the tests! Try in a day or two if AF hasn't started full force. I spotted for a couple of days before starting last time.

FriendlyGhost · 06/06/2016 21:41

I told DH and his first reaction was 'what already?' but he seems reasonably happy, if not particularly enthusiastic. He just asked that i don't turn into a neurotic mess like last time.
One thing he has just said is that he reckons we conceived after I thought I had ovulated. Apparently it felt different (wetter Blush) and he remembers that from last time. I'm not the only one tracking cm then! That would only make me 9dpo so I'm not sure I believe him as a strong positive today and sicky feelings already.

Writerwannabe83 · 06/06/2016 21:29

My friend has got two daughters, one aged 2yr 6m and the other one 11m and with both of them she didn't find out she pregnant until almost three months as she continued to have per periods, although much lighter than usual. She said that because her cycle wasn't particularly regular anyway and she wasn't TTC she wasn't really taking much notice of her periods and the only reason she did a HPT was because of how run down and sick she always felt. She said going to the scans and finding out how far along she was was overwhelming!!

haveacupoftea · 06/06/2016 21:27

I am also keen to O soon as if this is my month I will be testing on fathers day. Ridiculously hopeful i know! Blush

haveacupoftea · 06/06/2016 21:26

Sorry i cant check names as on my phone and terrible with technology lol...but thanks for replies. Im usually pretty regular 28 days, give or take +/- 2 days. I know i probably get a positive test in a couple of days, but DP and I don't usually dtd as often and I haven't told him i'm testing for O...don't want to put him off!

Where do people find these men who are just as keen on it all as they are...mine thinks he can just make a deposit at any stage and a baby will appear!

JessJR23 · 06/06/2016 21:20

Fingers crossed for you writer you never know. I have heard of some women get a light 'period' when pregnant (although may be an urban myth?) So who knows? Maybe try another test tomorrow/ day after if the bleeding hasn't become normal for you.

Writerwannabe83 · 06/06/2016 20:56

mbire - sorry to read your period arrived and that you're having a bit of a rough time with it all. I think the whole conception business is so unfair, it works so well for some whereas others have a bit of a struggle on their hands. My friend was TTC for 13 months (she and partner both aged 33) and she was referred to a fertility clinic and then 3 days before her appointment she got her BFP. She was so genuinely gob smacked because she never thought it would happen naturally for her and her worst fear was that it wouldn't happen at all. Their baby is 4 months now and they still can't understand how after 12 months of TTC with all their might (temping, OPKs, well timed DTD) nothing had happened and then out of the blue it just suddenly worked one month. Conveption is just totally baffling.

Things are still quite odd my end in that I'm still not having any blood appear on my sanitary towels but when I wipe it is there on the tissue. Normally my pads are absolutely saturated within a few hours (sorry for the gross TMI) so I have no idea what's going on. I have felt really lousy this evening, banging headache and feeling queasy but I sometimes do feel a bit rough when AF arrives.

I have moved on from thinking its implantation bleeding as I think the blood is too fresh for that, so I am in acceptance that I'm not pregnant, I just wish my body would stop messing around and behave as normal so I can crack on with the next cycle.

MizzisDee · 06/06/2016 20:52

Congratulations Friendly!

Writer, my fingers are crossed very heavily for you, and others still on the bus.

I've added another frustration to the regular 2WW frustration, thrush. I've had it before, only ever when on antibiotics for my evil wisdom tooth I finally got rid of at the end of last year, but it is back randomly. And I'm going to have to make a doctor's appointment because frustratingly (only because I hadn't thought until she asked, obviously her job is to keep me and what may or may not be lurking in my womb safe) the pharmacist wouldn't let me have anything because I can't guarantee I'm not pregnant.

Getting an appointment will involve having to describe having thrush and why I can't just get anything from a pharmacy like everyone else - and I have no way I can see of making/taking a private phonecall to do this. Ugh.

Wibblewobble100 · 06/06/2016 20:51

Temping not tempting

Wibblewobble100 · 06/06/2016 20:50

By the way tea, my friend told me today that she never got positive opks - she found tempting way more reliable for her and it lead to two beautiful babies!

Wibblewobble100 · 06/06/2016 20:48

Congrats friendly a BIG FP!
I tested again this am BFN😟. Ovia says I'm day one again but no sign of AF yet. Until I got obsessed by TTC I thought I was regular ( and I know I am really) but now the difference between 27 and 30 days is torture.
Still I am positive for next cycle and invested in some opks for the first time. While I was in Boots I noticed FRER tests are buy one get one free - just to encourage more excessive peeing on sticks.
Sorry for all those having tough times, BFNs and AF, hopefully next cycle will be easier for us all.

GinandJazzHands · 06/06/2016 20:43

Hey tea how regular are your cycles normally? I agree with poppy keep testing just in case.

Poppydm · 06/06/2016 20:40

Have a cup of tea, I was exactly the same then got positive OPKs CD17 and 18. Prob still worth checking over the next few days.

Poppydm · 06/06/2016 20:38

Thanks for the advice Gin. I've not been temping so guess we'll just have to wait and see. Back to work today and feel exhausted so not sure I can face it again tonight. You know when all you want is an early night and a snuggle? Guess I'll class myself as going into the 2WW for the first time.
Have you told your DH friendly? Did you have many early symptoms?

haveacupoftea · 06/06/2016 20:35

I am fed up this evening...been testing with opks the last couple of days and still no positive Angry i am on CD15, yesterday CP was soft, open, today it seems to be closed...have a few O symptoms like sore bbs, feeling a bit sicky. Hopefully I still O'd and OPKs just arent for me.

haveacupoftea · 06/06/2016 20:33

Congratulations Friendly Grin
Writer when I had IB before it was very watery brown. I think it depends on the person who is having it though Flowers
