Hi all

I thought I'd start the June bus as I'm getting impatient!

I'm 31 (for a bit longer anyway), TTC#1. DH and I agreed to start TTC in May, but won't be ovulating till about the 24th. ETD 8th June! Feeling terrified and excited at the same time.

Join me if you will! Smile

I'm having watery CM too, I kind of thought that everything would have dried up after ovulation?!

FriendlyGhost · 26/05/2016 20:29

Exciting times with the symptom spotting. Hopefully some bfps soon!
I don't think I've been recognising the mucus either. I had a lot of the long clear stringy stuff on Monday. Perhaps jelly like is a good description for mine too wibblewobble. Since then I would probably describe it as watery and there doesn't appear to be any this evening. So presumably that means I've ovulated already? That's assuming I am actually ovulating at all. We dtd on Sunday and Wednesday so if I have already I hope that will have done the job.

babydances · 26/05/2016 20:28

I would deffo record on ovia, I've been recording two months now and seeing a trend in what's happening and the clues. For example this time last month I have the same symptoms.

Wibblewobble100 · 26/05/2016 19:56

Interesting baby dances!
Reading that, I'm not sure I've ever recognised egg white cervical mucous. I mentioned earlier that Ovia changed my fertile time... I think that's cos I recorded EWCM for 4 days.... I didn't realise most people only get it for 1-2 days... Now I'm wondering if what I think is EWCM is actually sticky stuff... TMI warning, It's whitish rather than clear and quite jelly like but definitely stretchy.

MrsGsnow18 · 26/05/2016 19:22

Oh thanks babydances! I kept meaning to look up some sort of guide on CM. I've sort of been skipping recording it on ovia app. I think what I thought was EWCM probably wasn't!

babydances · 26/05/2016 16:59

Found this on different types of CM and what they mean

June Bus anyone?!
babydances · 26/05/2016 16:37

Thanks for everyone's replies. He isn't mega eager but happy to have one as he knows it's important for me and got out dd to have a sibling. He said hounding for dtd just to get pregnant put him off. Clearly I need to sexy it up a bit rather than use him for his sperm Shock

carrotcakecupcake · 26/05/2016 16:31

Flowers Lily good luck with the doctor
Grin writer I've been wee'ing all day today too! And smelling things that everyone else can too!

LilySnape · 26/05/2016 15:46

Bfn for me Sad
found out my BMI for my height is way lower than it should be im about 2st underweight i reckon I've solved the fertility mystery Hmm doc's tomorrow

Writerwannabe83 · 26/05/2016 15:33

Oh babydances

My DH hadn't realised the importance of well timed sex as he thought pregnancy could occur at anytime as if there was an egg sitting there 24/7 for the entire month, but once I explained about the egg only living for 12-24 hours, once a month, he understood why regular sex at a certain point of the month was so necessary.

You say he's said that he's not having sex because it scared him that you could get pregnant which doesn't sound like something a guy who wanted a baby would say? Is he really eager for a baby or is he quite indifferent to the idea?

I'm 4dpo now and since yesterday I haven't stopped weeing! I wee'd 4 times in 5 hours yesterday and I keep having to go to the loo at work today too. When I was pregnant with DS my first indication was constantly needing a wee. I'm also having a few pelvic aches and crampy sensations.

I love spotting imaginary symptoms Grin

Sorry for your losses Sakura and Karry Flowers Flowers Flowers
Sorry your dp is being rubbish babydances. I felt exactly the same on Tuesday night. The good thing is that you've dtd a lot on other days so you're in with a good chance. I had to spell it out and get sulky with my DH last night too. I snapped and said 'do you really want me to wait another bloody month before we can try again?' and he said he hadn't realised it worked like that. He would know if he listened. I don't think he likes the pressure either but he knows how important this is to me. Last time I made sure I just suggested dtd a lot even when I wasn't fertile so DH didn't guess. You could try that? This time it's much harder to find the time and we don't dtd anywhere near as often so I've had to be more specific!

karryk · 26/05/2016 08:38

Hello all - I'd like a seat by the window please Grin

Minty - you're a spring chicken compared to me.. I think I'm officially the oap on the bus at the moment :) lol x

Age: 38 (39 next month...gah!)
Ttc: number 1
This will be cycle 6. I've had a chemical pregnancy and a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks thus far. Started trying again in January but had to take a couple of months break as started treatment for immune system issues :)

Af is imminent so I won't be testing until later in the month, probably around my birthday Confused the only thing I'm not looking forward to is that the end of June was supposed to be my due date for the little bean we lost....I think I might have some shaky days Blush

Wishing everyone lots of luck x

CD2 here, so boring. The anniversary of my mc is coming up soon. On the 28th it's been a year, at the time I was told/read that a lot of women fall pregnant soon after a mc so I was so upset when it didn't happen and I still get upset every fricking time af shows... I'm off on holiday to Italy on Saturday so at least for a week I won't be thinking of this baby making malarkey Grin but as soon as I'm back I most definitely will be!

Sakura03 · 26/05/2016 07:56

babydances sorry to hear your upset over dtd not happening, when you most want it, I ve been there and it's so frustrating and upsetting. I think you need to have a chat with your dh, maybe her doesn't need to know exactly when you're most fertile as long as he is happy to bd when required? My dp doesn't know because it puts a lot of pressure on him and in the early days of bd it freaked him out. But you'll need to have a chat as this not fair on you so hopefully you can agree on a compromise. Good luck

happybus28 · 26/05/2016 07:43

I'm in the same boat as you babydance my DH is freaking out about it too! He anticipated he would feel this way though, he's a bit of a worrier in all aspects of life! We are taking the approach of me not telling him when I'm fertile and not really discussing it in too much detail (unless he asks) so he just feels like everything's normal. It's hard though. We normally only DTD a couple of times a week so he is aware that has increased!!

Try not to be too upset, it's all we women think about and consumes our every waking thought but it's not like that for men. Im sure if you sit down with him tonight and have a chat about what's worrying him you will sort things out Flowers

MizzisDee · 26/05/2016 07:28

friendly ghost he sounds a bit like my DH, he doesn't really take hints either (generally in life as well as why I wanted him home early this week). I also keep forgetting how much I need to spell stuff out for him which is where most if not all of our misunderstandings come from.

We never normally dtd a lot in the week though, one or both of us is normally either working or out until late and then I'm normally up early for work. I'm not used to these late nights and finding myself a lot more tired than normal trying to fit in as many opportunities as possible.

babydances · 26/05/2016 06:53

I've gone to work really upset. Potentially irrational but today is my FW and dp didn't want to have sex last night or his morning and he says it's because it's freaked him out that I can get pregnant today. I'm really upset. We've dtd pretty much every bloody day this month and the one day when it's the most fertile he refuses twice, and in all these years he has never said no to sex! I literally left the house crying and had a go at him, oops! I'm just feeling really pissed off. All this effort this month, no drinking, taking vitamins, dtd even when I was too tired and then the one day it actually counts for making a baby and he doesn't want to Angry

FriendlyGhost · 25/05/2016 23:18

Hiding I'm also in touch with my mumsnet group from 2014. It's really lovely finally meeting people after all the chat on here. Hopefully quite a few of us will end up in the same due date groups on here!
I still haven't worked out this EWCM thing. I had some long stringy stuff on Monday but I don't actually expect to ovulate until tomorrow or Friday. I have had clear cm since then but not as much. Luckily DH has finally agreed to dtd this evening. He hadn't realised why I was pestering him to continue to bed with me. He thought I was concerned over him not getting enough sleep. Can't drop hints with him at all!

Dustycorners · 25/05/2016 22:42

Another one here still breastfeeding! DS is 13 months and still wakes at night too. And yet, I really want to do it all again - crazy! Confused

Writerwannabe83 · 25/05/2016 22:27

Mine was clear and stretchy.

I'm 3dpo and still having sex 'just in case' and to cover all bases.

A woman I know was using OPKs and also temping and she found that she didn't actually ovulate until 48 hours after her positive OPK.

From being a member of the conception boards for quite some time I see a lot of posts from women who get their BFN and feel it's because they stopped DTD too soon as they assumed that after the OPK there really wasn't much point (in a TTC way of course).

I wasn't really in the mood tonight to be honest but I mustered up the energy from somewhere as I don't want any "what ifs..." if I don't get my BFP this cycle.

babydances · 25/05/2016 21:48

For those who have had this was it clear and stringy?

babydances · 25/05/2016 21:46

Ok thank you cinnamontwist fingers crossed. We've been dtd almost everyday so I really hope I am ovulating

CinnamonTwist · 25/05/2016 21:40

babydances most women only get EWCM one or 2 days a month, so if you haven't ovulated yet you probably won't have had any yet. I only noticed it this month as I knew what it was, before that I wouldn't have even thought about it!

babydances · 25/05/2016 21:17

Tomorrow is my predicted ovulatating date. My cervix is super open and high and soft so hoping that's a good sign. As previous post last week I don't know for sure if in ovulating as my implant is still in my arm for 9 months out of date and waiting for aneasthiec allergy test to take it out

Writerwannabe83 · 25/05/2016 21:15

There are various types of CM and they are all relevant to where in your cycle you are in terms of pre-fertile, fertile and post-fertile.

There's lots of information on Google. I don't know the relevance of any of them except EWCM Grin
