Barefootcontessa84 · 02/05/2016 22:59

Hi all

I thought I'd start the June bus as I'm getting impatient!

I'm 31 (for a bit longer anyway), TTC#1. DH and I agreed to start TTC in May, but won't be ovulating till about the 24th. ETD 8th June! Feeling terrified and excited at the same time.

Join me if you will! Smile

CD4 today, cant wait to FW week Grin

Eva30 · 27/05/2016 22:14

sophie haha I know, not sure I'll manage that but will give it a go! 2 days until fw for me.
Have just moved house ("project house" God help me) and very stressed with work so keep having to remind myself to stop stressing no good for TTC. Managed to DTD yesterday and today so not doing bad so farSmile

SophieBear13 · 27/05/2016 22:05

babydances Thanks- I already have Ovia, I've been using another app Clue for just under a year and then Ovia for the last few months. It's great. Except it keeps nagging me to do a test and I already have AF. So that's a bit rubbish too look at! I do love both apps though.

writerwannabe I haven't been on any contraception for the last few years, before that I was on the pill. We were using the FAM method. I have bought some OPKS so hopefully they will prove usual! I did try tracking my BBT last cycle but it was all over the place for some reason...

Eva Haha gosh that sounds tiring!! Will give it a go. How long until your FW?

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 21:51

Yay - I will be up at 6am as I've got work on Sunday so watch this space.

When I was pregnant in February I got my first squinter on a Saturday morning, immediately before I had to leave for work and I was on Cloud 9 all day Grin

Allaboutthecake13 · 27/05/2016 21:45

Deal writer!

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 21:35

allaboutthecake - so Sunday morning for first testing??

Allaboutthecake13 · 27/05/2016 21:25

Thanks writer.

TBH, having spent much of my month POAS with OPKs, why not start with the testing at 7dpo?! I'm in!

Eva that's really helpful re temping. I've been doing OPKs and tracking CM for a few months in preparation for TTC but have held off temping because it's an added faff in the morning (and I get up 40mins earlier than DH) but if no success this month then I might give it a go.

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 21:18

allaboutthecake - if you want to make a name, or a word bold turn all you have to do is put an asterisk (*) immediately before your text and then immediately afterwards.

For example, to put my name in bold you would write writer but without the gaps between the asterix and text Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 21:16

Is testing pre AF anticipated arrival a good idea? I was going to try and hold out and test if AF is late...

I'm afraid we can only be testing buddies if you agree to test from 7dpo Grin Grin

Eva30 · 27/05/2016 21:16

sophie someone on another thread with a BFP said gp said DTD from cd10 to cd21 - I'm going with that this cycle, DH best get some rest haha

Eva30 · 27/05/2016 21:14

allaboutthecake people seem to get BFP's at different times, some show up at 7dpo and others don't get them til AF is late, I love POAS, whether it be pg test or ovGrin

Eva30 · 27/05/2016 21:12

Hey all!
I'm 30yo, TTC#1, cycle 2, cd10.
wibblewobble I've found basal temping really useful, it dips just before ov and AF (if not pregs). Can get a cheap thermometer on Amazon, mine was £4, bargain

Allaboutthecake13 · 27/05/2016 21:01

Oh writer (not sure how to make you bold, sorry!), it's nice to have a testing buddy!

So, my PMS symptoms are sore/swollen/heavy feeling boobs and being irritable (poor DH!). Annoyingly they have arrived at exactly the same time as they do every month, but I am still trying to be hopeful that they are pregnancy symptoms! Did feel mildly nauseous for a bit earlier today but I'm fully aware that I may have imagined that a little bit!

Is testing pre AF anticipated arrival a good idea? I was going to try and hold out and test if AF is late...

FriendlyGhost · 27/05/2016 20:58

I was a 32b but pregnancy and breastfeeding put them up to a 34dd! I'm not sure what they are now. They've deflated a lot and not as pert and my lovely dainty bras still don't fit. I remember my DH looked at my boobs before my bfp and said that I was definitely pregnant. They doubled in size overnight!
It's interesting to hear about boobs getting bigger during ovulation. My nipples were really tender at the beginning of this week (and they're usually like rubber). I wonder if that was why.
Barefoot that made me laugh! I love that we have no idea of each other's names or what we look like but we know intimate details of when we dtd and the condition of our lady parts Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 20:56

What contraception were you using sophie as sometimes that can affect how quickly/slowly a woman gets pregnant.

Are you using OPKs?

babydances · 27/05/2016 20:47

Hi sophiebear perhaps download ovia and use it everyday to track things. I've read that it's a good idea to dtd every other day and make sure you do it as much as u can in the 5 days leading to ov and a few days after xx

SophieBear13 · 27/05/2016 20:26

Please can I join!

I'm 25, my husband is 26.

2nd cycle.

I have just got AF and feel pretty gutted about it to be honest.

ETD is 20th June!

Any tips for this cycle? We DTD twice during FW because we weren't really trying but I think our timing was off and we have decided we would like to actually try this cycle!

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 20:23

because we've been DTD pretty regularly so I can't tell what's what anymore blush.

Grin Grin Grin

I had the same thoughts the other morning when I was examining my underwear for the sake of Ovia Grin

Relax though, there's no reason as to why you wouldn't have ovulated so just keep DTD and enjoy your holiday Flowers

Barefootcontessa84 · 27/05/2016 20:21

Hi all, sorry for the silence - have barely any signal where we are on hols - just found some so checking in! I'm really worried I haven't ovulated this month, as it's usually pretty obvious when I do (EWCM and the like). This month I didn't really notice any, but wonder whether it's because we've been DTD pretty regularly so I can't tell what's what anymore Blush. I'm pretty sure I would have OV'd a few days ago, but still DTD'ing pretty frequently just in case......

I'm a 34c but 2 years of breast feeding has stopped them spilling out of anything as they are a bit soft and floppy these days Grin

My DH actually referred to them as "saggy" the other day and I was not amused. He couldn't see why I was offended?! Men!

When I was pregnant with DS I remember the night before I got my BFP I was standing topless in front of the mirror and I said to DH, "Is it my imagination or do my boobs look HUGE?!" Grin

babydances · 27/05/2016 19:48

Hello !
Cheers writer, I'm actually only a 32c but they are spelling out of my bra, I've always had painful boobs once a month and didn't realise it must be when I ovulated. They hurt to take out of my bra!

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 19:38

I wish I knew what it felt like to have huge and painful boobs!!

I would say 1dpo babydances

Tryingtowait · 27/05/2016 19:36

hey guys been lurking again! Nice to see you again writer good luck to you :)

I'm guessing I'm 6dpo (cd21 of a 'usual' 29 day cycle. I stupidly did a frer this morning as I just felt pregnant! Clearly bfn :/ now I'm having really intense period like cramps which I only normally have the day af arrives so either early af and haven't ovulated this month or God knows what's going on with me.

babydances · 27/05/2016 19:34

Hahaha writer! I think I ovulated yesterday or today. Ovia predicted yesterday and my boobs are huge and painful last night and today and I had that EWCM last night. So shall I say 1dpo?

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 19:30

I'm 5dpo too!!!

I have a testing buddy Grin

What PMS symptoms are you getting? Could they be signs of fertilisation instead??
