Shellbell0403 · 02/06/2016 08:02

Don't give up fluffy remember they say not every night and as hard as it maybe, try not to make it all about baby making as then becomes regimented and will start to loathe it!

Hi all I hope you don't mind me coming back now. I would love to say I'm feeling more positive but I'm not. I will however try and put a positiveish spin on it Grin
Hope everyone is doing well.
I have purchased some well woman vitamins (with omega 3 6 and 9, epo and starflower oil) plus some more inositol and I've ordered some NAC to give a go too. Have also requested a callback for an appointment at fertility clinic but not sure if we will get one as there was a problem with OH's SA. Hopefully just because of a misunderstanding so hadn't left it as long as we should have. Literally feel like every turn is a roadblock right now. And like you Frazzle, although for diff reasons, like someone is trying to tell us something. And I have a dd from a previous relationship so should be grateful, and I am, but OH has no kids and I ache for a baby that's part me and part him. Plus my ex was a class a dickface and was awful to me for my whole pregnancy and beyond and took away from it that I'd love to have a prooer excited happy pregnancy too.
Ok enough about me, looking forward to catching up on what you lovely ladies have been doing!
P.s hope it goes well today shell, and thabk you so so much for the pm's. You kept me sane(ish)Wink!!

Shellbell0403 · 01/06/2016 08:20

frazzle sending love!

Barsons Woohoo! That's great, hoping this cycle doesn't last a long plus if it does the clinic will give you something! That was the same as us, we went for our app then bloods and samples.

Well I have my bloods today! I think it's a day early but hey ho, the clinic said to still go!

Hey all,
Hope you all had a nice bank holiday weekend.
So after a 144 day cycle I came on today - yay!! I felt what I thought was ovulation pain two weeks ago on holiday, the day after getting so drunk I was sick. The very few times I have ovulated seem to be brought on by alcohol.

We also have our first consultation this month and husbands SA in July. They couldn't do the SA first unfortunately.

Thanks you. I live in hope that DP changes his mind. I'm also worried mumps has affected his fertility. We won't know unless he gets checked out, and, given he doesn't want to try again, I can't see him being bothered.

Maybe after PCOS, two MC and possible sabotaging by mumps, someone is trying to tell us something...
I should be glad I already have two DC. Previous relationship though and I'm just so desperate to meet our little person who would be a part of DP and me. I just feel like they're waiting in some kind of cosmic waiting room. I can almost smell their sweet skin Sad

Fluffyseagull · 31/05/2016 09:01

Same here village. Its difficult as im very dry and uncomfortable down there so sex even with preseed is painful. Im not holding out much hope Angry Bird

VillageFete · 30/05/2016 20:39

fluffy I was so despondent last month as my OPK's did not pick up on ovulation, so I was delighted when a blood test confirmed I had indeed ovulated. We are trying not to rely too much on them and are trying to just dtd every other day (from day 10)

Fluffyseagull · 30/05/2016 20:28

Village im doing opks and bloods at day 21 or as the Doc recommended 8 to 9 days post suspected ovulation. Same here i have history of depression so adoption probably out!

VillageFete · 30/05/2016 20:25

Shell I have 2 close friends who have children through adoption, it's such a beautiful thing and those kids are so lucky, but I believe the process is gruelling. I'm not sure they'd consider me due to my PND.

VillageFete · 30/05/2016 20:23

Fluffy Are you going to get a blood test on day 21 to confirm it worked? That's what I done by booking in with my GP. I seem to ovulate on around day 16, but everyone is different. Are you using OPK's? They aren't always accurate for me, but I had a positive today off the clearblue smiley test.

Shellbell0403 · 30/05/2016 20:04

Village i know what you mean but if you adopt a baby or a young child then we are giving them the chance of a new life plus your family would love them just as much. My family have took on my two Step daughters as their own and love them as their own... wine and crisps 😣

fluffy you may not get any disappointment plus your not alone... you have us!!

If anyone wants added into a whatsapp group feel free to pm me mobile numbers and I can get it going :)

Fluffyseagull · 30/05/2016 19:53

Ive only just started my first month. Ive got six months worth. Im on CD 10 so hoping ovulation will come in next week?

Fluffyseagull · 30/05/2016 19:50

Dont blame you Shell. Im not sure how far down that route i want to go as i dont do disappointment wellConfused

VillageFete · 30/05/2016 19:49

Fluffy I see what you mean. I'm not keen either. I just don't see how clomid can't work IF we ovulate from it (which luckily I do) Surely, it has to work eventually? How many month's worth have they given you? I got 4 months worth and this is my second month on 50mg.

Shell Do not feel guilty. Relax. When you've had as much disappointment as we've had then what's the point in abstaining from alcohol completely? I've done a bottle of wine in this weekend Grin I like the idea of adoption, but because I already have a biological child, I worry we may not feel the same about an adopted child, or that our families won't. Could never take that risk.

Shellbell0403 · 30/05/2016 19:42

fluffy village our progression advised by the consultant is tabs, iui and then Ivf. If doesn't work then we have discussed adoption or fostering possibly. Would you consider adoption/fostering?
I'm on my 2WW but letting my hair down tonight and having a few wines but feel guilty in the back of my mind. Oh well... Won't hurt this once....
