I have already written this once and deleted it.

I got two faint positives this morning.

I am absolutely rigid with fear.

AmyC86 · 06/05/2016 10:05

I'm only CD#12 do you think that I've already ovulated?

Shellbell0403 · 06/05/2016 09:31

Iv had EWCM on the day I have ovulated and now it's like white/creamy

Amy the opks is negative but it's after ovulation. Watery cm is a good sign that you may have ovulated.

Yeah I think the test line has to be the same as the control line or darker, as the hormone is always there, just stronger at ovulation time.

I made the mistake of thinking a line was a line (like on an HPT) and got very excited. But someone on here mentioned that it has to be the same or darker, then I read the instructions and realised that was the case.

It's really frustrating isn't it! PCOS does not help either. I've read OPK's are pretty much useless - I still use them though, just out of curiosity.

I also don't believe in EWCM as I never ever have it. Both times I feel pregnant this year I didn't have it and I check all the time. It's always the same - creamy. Never changes from that.

Dunlin1987 · 06/05/2016 09:03

Hmmm I think the lines have to be the same level of darkness if it is lighter it is supposedly negative. However, OPKs are not always reliable and watery CM is a good sign too xxx

LittleAngel8103 · 06/05/2016 09:03

I can't be 100% sure but is there another very faint pink line there Amy?

AmyC86 · 06/05/2016 08:24

shell it's just been water for days. Very wet but not stretchy at all. What do you lot think of this OPK from this morning (after 4 minutes)

Where are you then shell?

Shellbell0403 · 05/05/2016 22:34

amy when you have EWCM they say that's ovulation.. normally the last day of that! So it's when it's clear and really stretchy between your fingers.. sorry for tmi! Any joy? (Sorry)

shell I'm just feel clueless. The temping thing is shite as are the opks. How am I supposed to know if/when I've ovulated!!!

Shellbell0403 · 05/05/2016 21:32

Seems to be a lot different between here and England's way of doing things? Strange!!

amy i feel abit like that today!! Feeling as though this is another unsuccessful month!!

I called the lady on the referral who said to fax her the results so she can just send me an appoinment rather than waiting for another referral, I'm not really sure what else I can do. Feel like it's a fine line between not getting fobbed off and being too pushy, you know?

mysteriousbat · 05/05/2016 21:14

Yes we were referred in december and were meant to go in march but they cancelled our appointment because we didnt have all of our test results, despite me calling doctors and checking that the date we had to sort tests was ok in relation to the appointment. Turns out it wasnt. And its taken 3.5 months just to sort the appointment for OH semen analysis, which is completely insane to me. I'm very wary of going back to the doctor because of how they spoke to me last time.

AmyC86 · 05/05/2016 21:13

No news for me, just plodding along with it, feel very down in the dumps with it all because there's no wayou of knowing if the clomid has acctually worked/ working or not. I feel like this is a 4ww rather than a 2ww

susurration · 05/05/2016 19:59

mysterious what a load of shit. Thats awful. Have you actually been referred to clinic etc? Can you call the consultants office directly? x

DrewOB1 · 05/05/2016 19:34

Fingers crossed for you . It did that for me when I had a chemical :(

LittleAngel8103 · 05/05/2016 18:49

Hey there not long we started really trying in Feb, mc 5weeks ago, now for the last few days, sore boobs, thrown up 3 times since yesterday evening, constant nausea. I hate gherkins but devoured some today. Got 2 neg results though. Sorry for tmi but really nasty discharge today when I went to bathroom. So I just don't know, I really don't want to get my hopes up but not sure what to think..

mysteriousbat · 05/05/2016 18:01

susurration yes i saw my doctor about 8 months into having no period and asked the question but she said without a lining growing there is no need to have a period. Told me to wait until my fertility clinic appointment. Which was meant to be march but since they screwed up mine and oh's tests we are still awaiting oh's sa appt before we can go back to clinic. Went to a different doctor at the end of march to ask what i could do and his literal words were "i dont know what youbwant me to do about it". I actually cried, he is the doctor he is meant to tell me what he can do!!!! So it seems my doctors general attitude is not my problem, see the clinic. I dont know what to think really. Pretty shitty here too and had a crappy day with work drama so i can empathise drew
So sorry to hear your sad news frazzle and dunlin

Skrinson · 05/05/2016 17:20

Also, with the temping, do you need any particular type of thermometer, or will any one do?

Skrinson · 05/05/2016 17:18

Hi ladies, just checking in to keep a place. Dunlin and frazzle I'm really sorry to read your news.

Cwtch, I'm just starting week 3 of metformin, trying to take the three tablets a day when I remember. I've also started taking inositol on the recommendation of some of the girls on here, as well as a magnesium supplement. I've cut our sugar and bread/spud type carbs and have lost some weight, so every cloud eh.

I've got my pre-op consultation re the ovarian drilling and lap & dye procedure next week. I'm pretty sure that no one else had heard of ovarian drilling before, so I'll let you all know what they say next week in case it might be something to ask about if anyone thinks it could be helpful x

susurration · 05/05/2016 17:03

oh and hello to littleangel Welcome!

susurration · 05/05/2016 17:03

dunlin and frazzle sorry you're both having a tough time.

Amy did you get anything sorted?

I've started taking Inositol today, the powdered form and am back on my fasting diet. That's about it really here.
