Oooh, congratulations Jodie and Mimi.

No idea as I have no experience with th Clomid but that does sound good Mrs. Everything crossed for you.

Allium40 · 31/05/2016 09:22

Miami, I was 8 weeks. Let me know how your symptoms are this month. I found it so odd not having sore boobs that I think I didn't ov - despite getting several +opks. I've been so emotional, hope that settles down too. Hope June is a lucky month! x

Thanks Mimi, when I told DH, we did another (more expensive first response one) and the line was a lot darker. No spotting this morning so fingers crossed.
I think I said it further up but congrats again to you too!
Now need to work out how to hide not drinking!

MimiDiddy · 31/05/2016 07:49

Jodie I got my first very faint bfp on Thursday, and have had brown spotting since. Done a couple more tests, all getting darker, so I'm just putting the spotting down to my womble is having a bit of a spring clean.

Congratulations on your BFP!

Brenna24 · 30/05/2016 22:25

Hi jpeg. Sorry your friends aren't thinking. It is hard being in your own private hell. Glad the wine is good though.

AF got me on saturday. Naturally since I was on a posh spa weekend. At least it meant I could drink without guilt and I get to do my blood tests at the end of june.

jpeg28 · 30/05/2016 22:16

Hi ladies... Sorry I haven't been able to catch up on all the messages... Hope everyone is ok.
I'm in Italy having a great time, although sometimes I have this huge wave of sadness that I should be here 20 weeks pregnant not drinking copious amounts of wine. The wine is lovely but I would rather be pregnant! My friends have no idea how I feel and now and again they will just mention something about babies or pregnancy and no one thinks about me... Maybe I'm being selfish.
I'm now on cd2... This af has been not that normal, think my body did need it though.

Hope you ladies are all ok. X

jodiebee664 · 30/05/2016 22:07

Aah lovely Brenna, glad you had a good time, he sounds so lovely, good on him for cheering you up! And the dresses are lovely too!

Brenna24 · 30/05/2016 21:52

We are back.

I am so sorry Kate. You throw as many shampoo bottles as you want. It really is so unfair. Have a big hug from me.

Hi to all the newbies waves. So sorry you are here.

Kate my DH is lovely. Such a kind man. He drives me bonkers sometimes, but he has the biggest heart. He arranged to leave work early on friday to go shopping with me before we went away. He snuck there even earlier and had a scout around the shops to find suitable candidates. I went into the changing rooms to try them on and they were really busy, which kind of made my heart sink as I had to walk up and down from the back so he could see the dresses. I came out feeling amazing as it was a group of ladies in their 60s or so in there and they were all coomenting on how lovely I looked and asking where we were going. It turns out DH has great taste in clothes. i felt lovely in them, they suited me and I was getting complements right, left and centre. Dh was also waiting happily outside the changing room and not sighing and tutting. We had really good fun shopping.

I ended up getting two dresses. This is my favourite

I also got this one

www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_028020651360_-1

Plus he had been off scouting at swimming costumes and I got a polka dot one with a tummy control panel.

I got stopped in the hotel as well by people who told me how much they loved my dress.

So now I feel pretty and sexy again instead of fat and frumpy. More than that I feel very lucky to have a husband who goes out of his way to make me feel special.

The rest of the weekend was lovely too. We spent ages in the outdoor hot tub and had some lovely dinners. I went swimming before breakfast every day and I went for a run on the beach too. Plus I read most of a book. I feel a lot better.

jodiebee664 · 30/05/2016 20:17

Thanks Miami, I do hope so but just scary and daunting....i want to feel happy and hopeful though! Keep thinking of symptoms now, with last pregnancy I felt v sick and tired - not felt sick but have felt v tired.
I agree with other re dtd as ov timing can change too...just try and stay relaxed although I know that isn't easy.

Miami81 · 30/05/2016 20:07

Jodie a line is a line. Congrats. Hope all goes well for you.
Thanks Macauley and nitnat, good to have positive stories!
IC do you temp? When do you think you ovulated? Not over til the witch comes, must be very hard for you.

Miami81 · 30/05/2016 19:58

Hi allium sorry for your loss. How far along were you?
I was 9 weeks by the time I had the mc.
Counting first day of heavy bleeding/ day I took the tablets for mc as cd1, first cycle was 33 days.
First AF pretty heavy, cramps have been ok but just really heavy bleeding. All my other usual symptoms were very light, so no sore boobs, no headaches etc. I have felt very bloated since the mc though so it kind of feels like this AF will help sort that all out.
Thanks yep we might be ok. Will have a nice time dtd before he goes away and pounce on him the second he gets home just in case.
Have googled and there seems to be no way to delay ovulation other than being super stressed so I won't be trying to do that!!

jodiebee664 · 30/05/2016 19:52

Hi Ali,
Thanks, was barely anything when I wiped so will see.
Sorry to see you here...re my af after mc, it was very heavy and clotty (mine are normally light) but I think there might have been 'stuff' left in there that was passing. Everyone is different though, hope yours in trouble free!

Allium40 · 30/05/2016 19:44

Jodie, probably a bit late for implantation but light periods/spotting during pg are fairly common I think. Congratulations!

Allium40 · 30/05/2016 19:43

Hi all,

My first post on here after MC on 3rd May and first AF just starting, albeit just spotting at the mo.

Miami, how was the first AF? I'm expecting a heavy, painful one.

Not sure I ov'd this month as didn't get sore boobs like I normally do. Did get 2 lh surges though.

Miami, if DH is back on 10th then you should be ok and first few cycles might be slightly longer? How long was your first cycle after MC? I don't know any tricks to delay ov I'm afraid.

I'm also around a 25-26 day cycle.

Good luck!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 30/05/2016 19:24

Good luck Jodie I hope it is a sticky bfp for you.

Welcome to all the newcomers. Sorry you find yourself here but I hope we can at least offer you support and a place to share with those of us going through similar experiences.

Back from my weekend away. Lots of cycling & walking which I thought might get AF going, I even tempted fate by forgetting to pack my moon cup but nothing. A week late, no bfp. WTF is going on?!

Macauley · 30/05/2016 19:18

miami just to give you a little hope! Second cycle after mc, DH away through fertile window. Day he came back we dtd and thought nothing more as sure we'd missed it for this month. Got bfp two weeks ago Smile

jodiebee664 · 30/05/2016 19:13

thanks girls, trying hard not to get excited...not even mentioned it to DH yet but did go and do another which is showing the same!

BertieBotts · 30/05/2016 19:08

No not at all jodie! With pregnancy tests a line is a line! They are normally fainter than the control line.

Rachwyso · 30/05/2016 18:58

It doesnt always have to be really dark. Try again in a few days. Fingers Xd for u

jodiebee664 · 30/05/2016 17:52

Hey all,
Just catching up! My AF was due on Wednesday but had been really hoping I wouldn't come this time (as we all do) felt like we'd tried hard with timing, taking vits, trying conceive plus etc...anyway just got home from a walk and wiped when I went to loo (sorry TML) and saw faint brown so presumed AF was here...had a little cry with DH....but still.went upstairs and did a test (had some cheap amazon ones) a line has appeared and whilst not dark, I wouldn't say faint!

Could this just be implantation bleeding? Would a positive be really dark?

Nitnat10 · 30/05/2016 17:28

Just to give you a bit of hope miami, I 'o' ed a full five days after dtd with DH when we conceived DD1, so I'd make sure to dtd the last possible moment before he goes away

Miami81 · 30/05/2016 14:54

Hi all
I was away at the weekend so just catching up on posts. Sorry to all with bad news and sorry to all the new ladies who have found their way here after their losses.
my first AF after the mc arrived yesterday. I was expecting it as I didn't really believe that we had timed dtd at all to coincide with ovulation and also pretty certain that I just about ovulated!! So now am freaking out that next ovulation will be whilst DH is away from the 6th-10th of June. My pre mc cycles averaged around 25 days and I normally ovulated around day 13.
I know everyone will have different experiences but any thoughts on whether cycles get back on track straight away? Or anyone know of any neat tricks to delay ovulation for a couple of days. I temp so I will know once it has happened and will be so mad if it is the Wednesday or Thursday that DH is away.........

Hi rach- they do say that one is more fertile after miscarriage and the chance of successful pregnancy within 6 months of a miscarriage is higher. In my case I did fall pregnant fairly quickly (miscarriage in Jan, took two months off, started TTC in April and fell again in May) but unfortunately I miscarried a second time. It's pretty uncommon though - after one miscarriage you have every chance of a successful pregnancy. Wishing you all the best of luck!

Welcome girl on a bike - here's hoping it's good news for all of us soon.
