Oh no purple I am sorry to hear you have had a tough weekend. (I still want to call you cheeky!!). Was there anything in particular that triggered it? What is your plan? Are you still bleeding? Are you doing to start TTC straight away? At least we are in this together! I am sorry you have been down though. I had a massive wobble this morning but managed to pull myself together for work.

I have a scan on Friday originally booked to check the pregnancy but I imagine they will still want to see me to double check it wasn't ectopic and that is all miscarrying normally. As my levels have been low, I am hoping they'll drop quite quickly. I haven't had a MC at 6 weeks before. Does anyone have any experience? How long does the bleeding typically last for?

I am seeing my consultant a week tomorrow so I will discuss with him next steps. I think we may give it one more go naturally before turning to IVF or other options. I don't think pregnancy ever had a chance so I am keen to give it one more go.

Sorry if I have missed updates. Will look back now.

IC I hope you are ok tonight xx

Hi all, hope you are all ok. I had a pretty horrendous weekend from a mental point of view, felt quite bogged down, stressed and sad. Feeling a little better today although physically I feel exhausted. Trying to look onwards and upwards.

Brenna that sounds like such a wonderful weekend away and your DH is a true Angel! So sweet.

Hopeful sorry to hear it's the beginning of the end but here's to our next pregnancy! Smile

Congrats to the BFP's.

Sorry if I've missed more updates.

What's EPO exactly?

Here are my OPKs for December Mrs

That all sounds textbook mrsunsure. I really hope you get a sticky bfp!

allium apparently youre supposed to take it up until ovulation. It's meant to help regulate hormones and increase cervical mucous, but it also softens the cervix i believe so youre not advised to take it if you think you could be pregnant. I've only been taking it for about ten days so not sure if it's doing anything!!

Allium40 · 31/05/2016 17:53

When is the best time to take EPO out of interest and what does it do?

Just took this OPK which, while not being the darkest i've ever had is dark by my standards. No ewcm either.

Luckily i will be able to dtd tonight just in case but do you think that i should stop taking EPO now? I'll monitor temps (slight dip this morning) and will continue opks also, but just not sure about the EPO?

mrsunsure the opk pattern you described on clomid is the pattern i had the month i concieved (first month of opks). It went from nothing, to unmistakeably dark for two days, then nothing again. Also coincided with EWCM.

Hoping to see the same again over the next two weeks- fx!!!

Brenna24 · 31/05/2016 15:21

So sorry you are bleeding Kate but glad you are able to start moving on. Fingers crossed it drops quickly. Flowers

jodiebee664 · 31/05/2016 14:59

Sorry to hear that Kate but glad the limbo wait is over for you...and good luck with ttc again!
Hope you get sorted soon too IC.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 31/05/2016 14:35

I think I will see my GP if it doesn't turn in to proper bleeding. Hopefully it is just everything finally clearing out. There's no bad smell so hopefully no infection although I did have some sharp pain when AF was due a week ago.

Sorry that you're bleeding Kate but I am glad it's given you some relief and ended your limbo

IC I passed white and grey tissue three cycles after my MMC in Jan (had surgery to remove it too so would have thought they'd got it all!). I think it's totally normal but you could always speak to your GP and asked to be referred for a scan?

I'm finally bleeding!!! I never thought I'd be so happy for a miscarriage to start but after 2 weeks in limbo it is a relief. It isn't heavy yet, just a light period but I'm hoping it will speed up soon and so I can get this over with as quickly as possible.

My hope is that my HCG should drop in a week and then we can start TTC again but who knows if it will drop that quickly. Come on!!!!!

Haven't had chance to catch up with all the posts yet as was away this weekend but congrats to the new BFPs!!! I'll catch up after work.

Xx

I had loads of scans, 1 every week for 4 weeks after mc, and every time there was some retained tissue but the hospital discharged me after 5 weeks and said I should have a period soon and that should shift it. Did have a period shortly at 5 weeks after mc but now I'm wondering if perhaps I never fully shifted all the retained tissue.

OP posts:
MissClarke86 · 31/05/2016 13:54

Insufficiently were you ever scanned to check for leftover tissue?

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 31/05/2016 13:46

Anybody eating your lunch, look away now!

So this very late period is acting rather strangely. Very little bleeding and most of it is brown (ie old blood) and some white tissue. Only a very small amount of red blood. Anybody else had this? Can it still be hangover from mc in January? Seems ridiculous to still be having problems but my cycles haven't been the same ever since Confused

Hi mrs. I have a picture of a month of OPKs that I took at one point. Mine gets as dark as the control line, but I wouldn't have said any darker. I'll post the picture when I get home as it is on my home computer. I don't always get sore nipples, but I do sometimes. I can't see why it would be a particularly bad sign. It is just a response to the progesterone.

So sorry the witch got you IC.

My Dh really is a legend. If I wasn't married, I'd marry him again. Grin

Totally can't catch up, so sorry if I miss anything.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 31/05/2016 10:39

Mrs I have had sore nipples every month since mc except for the cycle that has just ended, don't recall ever having it before.

Allium I don't think I o'ed either or certainly not when I thought I had if that makes sense. I kept thinking I was having o pains but then my temps never seemed to go high enough.it seems like you and I are on the same timeline so I will certainly keep you posted. Things are still pretty heavy today but a bit more manageable, not like a normal period for me, all bright red and very few clots (normally very clotty).
Emotionally I found it very difficult yesterday when period was so heavy as it just kind of felt like the trauma of the mc again, I was really glad that I was off work anyway, so be kind to yourself as well allium, it is all very hard.
I am going to OPK from around cd 8 as my cycles pre mc were pretty short.
Good luck to all the BFP's and to all of us who are starting new cycles this is it June is our month. I feel really positive about this now, whilst I was upset by AF I am also really glad that my body is back doing what it should be!
JPEG so sorry she got you, but time to look forward to all the dtd in June though.
Brenna your weekend sounds lovely, sorry she got you too. Your DH sounds like an absolute legend though. What a sweetie.

AF has arrived at last. 8 days late Shock
Obviously I was hoping for a different outcome but this is better than not knowing wtf is going on.

I hope you manage to enjoy your holiday jpeg. Could you tell your friends how you're feeling? I find it difficult to talk about but perhaps the wine might help facilitate a heart to heart so they understand what you're going through
