Thanks jpeg. I'm not sure what else I can do! Hope you are ok?

jpeg28 · 01/05/2016 21:29

Good luck Kate it sounds like you are doing everything right so I've got my fingers crossed for you!

HopefulKate1980 · 01/05/2016 21:00

Hi Mrsunsure.... yes it does sometimes! My boyfriend often tries to poke it down if he can see it coming out!! On Wednesday he said there was a little swimming pool of sperm which he tried to push down!! VERY attractive.

But I don't think it matters really, unless your DH has missed entirely which is unlikely. There are millions of sperms in semen so as long as he ejaculates inside you, then I think you are safe.

And my god, there is no such thing as TMI on here!!

Brenna I am so sorry to read your news. How are you? It's great you have a referral lined up already and your doctor is so on it. The NHS really is a miracle! I hope you get answers v quickly. Will you be referred to the same hospital you work at? Fingers crossed for you.

Fozboz 6 weeks is a long time. Do they think it is related to the cyst? Hope you are OK.

I am on CD15 and my CM this morning has turned from EWCM to creamy & thick which I think (I hope) means I have ovulated. My poor knackered boyfriend woke up this morning looking petrified there might be more sex on the horizon! The look on his face when I said I think I have ovulated was a picture! Bless him. He put in a good innings. And now we wait....13 days.

Today has been lovely. Had a bike ride to the pub and then had lunch with my sisters in laws, and then rode back. I had a thumble of wine at lunch watered down with soda so I could join in and not draw attention to myself. Normally during the 2WW I would drink a few glasses of wine (last time stupidly I even got tipsy) but this time, I am trying to be as good as possible. No booze from now, only one small coffee a day, lots of veg and fruit, protein, sleep, distractions to keep calm, no obsessing etc.

SO ladies if any of you notice me symptom spotting, tell me to stop, please! I have to do this cycle differently. I have to give my body the best chance possible... Fingers crossed.

Evening,

JPEG - I only use one of the clear blue digital tests a day, mainly because they are so expensive but I found the cheap ones impossible to read. I start at cd10 but I get usually get a positive on cd12 so I don't keep on using them after that. It seems pretty consistent after a few months so I don't think I'll use them once I run out ( obviously hoping I might even get pregnant this month) I'm hoping that taking my temperature this month will confirm that I am ovulating.
Time for a bath before the first of the 'early nights' this week. Good work Kate keeping it up.
Really sorry Brenna that you have had the worst confirmed. I really hope things work out for you.

jpeg28 · 01/05/2016 18:52

Evening everyone...
brenna I'm sorry about the bfn... I hope the doctors get the ball rolling quickly for you.

Fozboz 6 weeks of bleeding does not sound good, I hope it stops soon and I hope the doctors can give you more info as to what's going on, that must be so difficult.

Cd10 for me... Started dtd last night and aiming for every other day... First ovulation test today was negative, I'm using the clear blue digitals. Does anyone else use them? If so do you do one a day or two?

I've been feeling really rough all afternoon and actually been in bed... Feel like I've wasted the sun! Thank goodness we still have tomorrow!

FozBoz · 01/05/2016 18:29

Ah, sorry Brenna. That sucks.

I suppose I'm on a 'trying again thread' but actually I'm not sure if I can try again atcleast not yet. If not physically then my intention is certainly there Grin

I've been bleeding since MC six weeks ago. Had a scan on wednesday and found an ovarian cyst and thick entometrial lining. I honestly don't know what that means but I do know cycle is not happening and so I guess I can't conceive.

I don't really know what I hope to achieve by writing that! We thought we'd not use any contraception and see what happens. My expectations are low though.

It's good to hear so many positive experiences of the medical side of things - referals goi g quickly and smoothly. It's encouraging!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 01/05/2016 18:10

I'm so sorry Brenna. At least your doctor is on the ball and ready to get things moving quickly.

Hello everyone, had a busy day yesterday. Was up early and went to nandos for lunch followed by a little window shopping, then visiting family and then mil in Hosp. Got home and started watching line of duty, until quite late and totally overate so was feeling uncomfortable! Woke up late and just had a lazy day in bed really. Going to potter around a little now before getting ready for work tomorrow. Feeling all achey and exhausted and in need of a good stretch so will try a yoga DVD I think.

Lots of chat about vivid dreams! I had them when I first found out I was preg but nothing since really.

Brenna24 · 01/05/2016 14:07

HI Nails, Bertie and Foz. So sorry you are all here.

I have tested negative this morning. So back in the game for us and I can phone the Dr in the morning and get my referral underway.

That sounds like a lovely dream Mrs.

Well done MrKate*. I hope this is your month.

FozBoz · 01/05/2016 11:47

Thank you for welcoming me sorry for your losses too. Fingers crossed for some good news for you all soon.

Dreams. I understand the weird pg dreams but I wonder whether they are all part of the healing process. Your brain is working in the background to help come to terms with stuff?

Mrsunsure - what a lovely dream. let's hope it's a good omen Smile

I have been having such weird dreams... Lots when I was pg and then now before af arrived. I guess it is hormones

Mrs you really are on it! Good work! I'm cd9 so I'm going to start ovulation tests tomorrow... Hoping that I'll ovulate in about 5/6 days time so need to keep dtd until then!

Welcome foz and sorry for your loss. I have found the thread so so useful over the past few weeks. I feel like I have no one to talk to about it and it's so nice to just post stuff on here and have people reply!

BertieBotts · 30/04/2016 22:16

Yes it's strange, when I was pg I had really vivid dreams like I felt I was there, but it wasn't bad dreams, just normal ones. Now I'm getting these ones with the sense of doom. They do seem to be fading though. Hope I don't have one tonight. It's very unusual for me to have nightmare like dreams and when I do they are not normally gory, the danger is usually out of sight and I just know it's there.

I don't feel like I mc, I just feel like I was pregnant for a short time and then wasn't. I suppose that is what happened but it's very strange.

HopefulKate1980 · 30/04/2016 22:12

He is a HERO! He got home shattered from cricket and with a burnt face but he still managed to DTD!! 7 times on the trot, it's a personal best, surely we are covered now?! Surely?? Fingers crossed. I feel full of love and hope tonight! Please let this be the month for me and you all... Xx

Welcome foz. Don't lurk if you don't want to! I've found this thread amazingly supportive. It's such a painful experience but it does get easier, eventually.. Xx

AmyB1986 · 30/04/2016 20:37

Berty & foz welcome and so sorry for your losses.

Just home from work, had to change twice at work! Putting my feet up, drinking coffee and eating fish with mashed potato! This is the life Wink

FozBoz · 30/04/2016 20:24

Hello to you all, may I now join you? I recognise many of your names as I was a.major lurker on the previous thread.

Only had my MMC 6 weeks ago now so rverything felt a bit raw. I did want to try again asap but like nails, I still have bleeding which rules me out of any baby making I would expect.

Anyway, I'll try and keep pace with this thread!

HopefulKate1980 · 30/04/2016 20:22

Bertie. Very soon hopefully you will have sweet dreams and interrupted dreams! Must be hormones. I had awful insomnia after mine..

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 30/04/2016 20:00

Bertie I had really intense and awful dreams when pg and still get them now before af is due. Lots of blood, gore, death of loved ones, tragedy etc. No idea why, hormonal perhaps.

Hello all, found you,
Cd 9 buddies- started last night, going to break tonight and then do every day for the next 4 days with the fertility gel as I ovulate on cd13. DP will be good for nothing after the rugby today, but tomorrow I will make extra efforts to make this a good month.
Brenna- the new thermometer arrived so I'm already to do my temperatures for the first time this month. DP is taking his supplements so fingers crossed month 4 will be lucky.
Been 7 months TTC if you don't count the miscarriage and as I am over 35 I've been thinking about when to approach the doctor too.
My period are heavier since the miscarriage, the first two days are crazy I had to change my pyjama bottoms twice one day this month.

5tardusty · 30/04/2016 18:02

Ooh insufficiently i've just ordered a thermometer too! Hope i can make sense of it.
