Welcome pickled

I overheard the tail end of a conversation last week between two of my colleagues that definitely implied one of them is pregnant. I'm good friends with the one who is pregnant and I'm so happy for her as she's had to have fertility treatment, and I feel a bit sad that she probably feels she can't tell me about the pregnancy because of my miscarriage.

pickledsausage · 11/05/2016 07:03

Hello everyone, can I join you? Have had 2 missed miscarriages now, one blighted ovum discovered at 8 week scan in October and one 8 week feutus discovered at the 12 week one (after having a very positive 8 week scan!). Had an ERPC last Tuesday and had BFN test this morning so I think I'm ready to get started again. sorry that you've all gone through this as well! It's good to know we're not alone though.

Argh pregnancy announcements, my boss told me last week when I was off recovering, that two girls in my team had just announced. Such bad timing as they must be similar time to me so will have to watch them grow/hear them talk about it - I'm genuinely pleased for them but would have just loved to have been a part of it too.

Anyway happy Wednesday to you all xx

Sending hugs mrs and bertie... It is so hard but we will all get there in the end!!
I feel the same about everyone announcing pregnancies... So fed up with it! It should have been me I keep thinking! But if we stay positive and hopeful it will happen at the right time.
Today my temp dipped way back down. So didn't ovulate. It's cd20...

Pineapple80 · 11/05/2016 04:30

Bertie - you could have taken the words right out of my mouth. I feel the same way when you hear someone is pregnant around the same time you were and I say to myself, that was meant to be me too Sad.

HopefulKate1980 · 10/05/2016 21:58

Hugs from me too. It's impossibly difficult all this but wish us all so much luck. Hope the sun comes back soon!! Xx

Brenna24 · 10/05/2016 21:54

Hugs Mrs. Bertie and Writer. It is a long hard struggle, which feels like it may not even end where we want but I am positive we can all do this with each others help. Flowers

But I am feeling really frustrated at the waiting and not knowing part. I don't MIND two week waiting. At least I can get appropriately obsessive over symptoms. This is just a crappy nothing. Gah. And although I thought it wouldn't bother me that people are announcing pregnancies I'm feeling all left behind and like wait!! Wait for me! I was supposed to be on that bus, but I'm not.

BertieBotts · 10/05/2016 18:43

I've used those Cheeky and I found them more reliable than more expensive ones. Don't like peeing in pots though!

I am feeling a bit better today but the last few days my hormones have really been battering me :( I have decided I'm going to keep my appointment on Friday in case I have any questions, but I'm going to ask if it's reeeeally necessary to do a blood test and whether I can do a urine one instead on the basis that if that is still positive (however faint) I'll have blood taken to see just how far over the 10 figure it is.

But. I have totally forgotten what time it is and lost my appointment card so I'm going to have to phone them or go in anyway, so I am tempted to just ask if I can cancel it. I don't want to be a pain. But I also really don't like needles and would rather not have any unnecessary ones.

Writerwannabe83 · 10/05/2016 18:33

Hello all, it's been a while since I posted.

My period is about to end today so as off tomorrow I guess I'm on the TTC journey.

Me and DH haven't actually had sex since my miscarriage (start of March) because I just haven't felt able to as I was so scared of risking getting pregnant. I had bought some condoms but the packet still remains unopened.

After the miscarriage my DH wanted to TTC again straight away but I didn't want to, I wanted some time to digest it all, but I'm ready now.

I haven't actually told my DH I feel ready to TTC again yet, I think I will have that discussion with him tomorrow and just hope he hasn't changed his mind about wanting DC2 as he took a lot of convincing in the first place.

I'm going to read back through the thread now and catch up Smile

redstrawberries101 · 10/05/2016 18:25

Aw sorry you are feeling like that mrsunsure. It can feel totally frustrating. Have you seen the consultant since they started you on clomid? It could be there is a reasonable explanation for it but you just haven't been told to expect this.

I use those and I hate them!!! First response are my favourite but it adds up if you test a lot like me!

redstrawberries101 · 10/05/2016 17:13

Does anyone else use these Amazon tests? I think ill throw them away and just buy as and when I require them. Don't like peeing in a pot !

redstrawberries101 · 10/05/2016 17:12

Big fat bfn although I'm a day late. I tested just in case as I'm not usually late. Had lots of cramping and feel like AF is on its way.

The test is so confusing because the raised bit by the word max looks like a line but it's just where it joins on. If that makes sense!

This afternoon has been such an embarrassing one! I have never had so much gas! Sorry that's really tmi! I was standing up teaching a load of sixth formers!!! Luckily no one heard! I hope this is at least a positive symptom!

It sounds utterly joyous doesn't it jpeg!! If it works though, I'm game...

jpeg28 · 10/05/2016 14:26

Ok thanks... Unfortunately didn't dtd last night as boyfriend was exhausted!! I did an OPK but it was negative. My cervix definitely feels soft. Think next month I will know what's going on a bit more. Just want this cycle to be over.

brenna sounds like some good activities have been planned! I want to start planting in the garden this weekend too!

Fertility cleanse sounds good... So no caffeine or alcohol. No white bread. No refined sugar. No low fat dairy... Anything else?? Think I'll try it!

Brenna24 · 10/05/2016 11:23

Don't break him completely. Grin

AmyB1986 · 10/05/2016 11:19

JPEG I think it could mean ovulation happened yesterday as Brenna said.

I still have lots of cm, dtd last night. Have some pressure in my left side, temp is stable but has risen slightly, not enough to show I've ovulated yet though. Have checked my cervix today, it's really high, soft and a bit open also very slimey sorry tmi! Going to dtd until my temp goes up and it draws me a cover line then chill.
Poor DH last night was gasping, it was so hot in our bedroom. He text me earlier to say I've damaged him, his knee is killing him while he's working. Sure he'll managed to dtd again though GrinWink

Hope everyone is doing ok too...

Brenna24 · 10/05/2016 11:03

That could be that you ovulated yesterday, JPEG but you need the rise to last at least 3 days to be sure. Just keep testing. It takes a month or two to learn what your cycle looks like (here's hoping you don't get the chance to find out Wink ).

So sorry Nails. I hope that resets everything and you have a proper cycle this time round.

Glad you are feeling more relaxed Amy.

Last night I planted broad beans in the allotment. Tonight is climbing at the climbing wall. Tomorrow I am going to pot up the last of the tomato seedlings.

Ooh yes I'm going to do the fertility cleanse too. It's no coffee, dairy, alcohol, no white bread, sugar etc isn't it? Did it make you feel better?

I'm CD24 and had a meltdown last night. I can feel AF is on its way, bad cramps and bloating, but my DH refuses to accept it and keeps telling me to stay positive. I know why he is saying that and I love him so much but I know my body and just feel so drained by endlessly being positive and calm. Anyway on a positive note I've got an appt with my consultant next Wednesday night to talk about our options so hopefully we will go armed into next month with a plan and new hope.

How is everyone else? Xx
