Cheeky just to say being nervous is totally normal. I had private bloods done at 4/5 weeks to check hcg rising. Then private scan at 6w and 8w. An NHS one at 9+2 (spotting and cramps) and another private one at 10+3 (but measuring 11). My 12w scan is next week at 12+3. So 2 almost a week until the next scan and I'm petrified again! I'm trying to relax, after next week we won't have another scan until 16w so I need to relax.
Just to put it in perspective for you - you won't be going as loopy as me! I had a mmc too and the thought of another one hunts me but we've got further than the baby was growing last time.

Really hope there's lots more BFPs this month. Still lurking here as the support here is unbelievable and if Loki is lurking, I hope you're ok too.

Take it easy Cheeky the chances are this will be a completely fine pregnancy. See what they say at the doctors Friday. Get them to take bloods. You'll be fine Grin

redstrawberries101 · 12/05/2016 17:32

Really hope you can join me now. I feel like it's all a lie as it was a missed miscarriage discovered at 12 weeks last time and I just don't know how I can assume I'm pregnant? Just need to take it easy and forget about it , focus on work!

redstrawberries101 · 12/05/2016 17:27

I've made an appt for doctors next Friday. Don't want to get ahead of myself so hoping I can and will just take it a day at a time.

jpeg28 · 12/05/2016 17:18

Yes lots more BfPs!! It won't be me... Caved and took 3 OPKs today... All negative yet my cervix is high soft and open and has been for a few days. Ahhhh I hate my body sometimes!! Wine and take away tonight I think!

Brenna you do make me laugh!! Ice packs!!
Cheeky I agree... Go to the docs and get a blood test and then you'll know for sure although the line isn't that faint. Take it a day at a time. And try to relax... Although I know that must be hard! You deserve a healthy 9 months!!

Brenna24 · 12/05/2016 16:33

Glad you are feeling better Mrs. I seem to get random cramps at all parts of the month now. I don't remember them from before. I think this is down to actually paying attention now. I'm off home to walk DDog and clean the kitchen and bathroom floors, then do a respite group for disabled kids. Then I ought to be making icing elephants and doves for tomorrow and saturday. I suspect DH may bash me over the head and haul me off to be before I get the chance to do those. Grin

Go Brenna!!! Sounds like a plan!!!

5tardusty · 12/05/2016 15:45

Haha brenna i salute you! Here's to conception!

5tardusty · 12/05/2016 15:44

I understand how you feel cheeky and i think i will be just the same. I'd advise going to a GP you trust and explaining the anxiety is causing you problems. They should hopefully refer you for an early scan and they may have you back every couple of weeks.

As we know, it only tells you about today, not tomorrow but at least you won't have to wait until 12 weeks. I am really hoping i am able to get that level of support if i am lucky enough to fall pregnant again.

Brenna24 · 12/05/2016 15:44

It is very normal to feel sad and scared after what we have been through. I hope that everything goes smoothly for you. The tests are not quantitative and it is mid afternoon so I woulnd't worry about what the line looks like. Too many variables can change things there. I would tell him, you are going to need the support whatever happens. Jsut be prepared, Dh wasn't very enthusiatic when I showed his my positive test last month. He just kind of muttered "It's not that strong, we will wait and see." Admittedly he was in bed ill at the time but I was a bit flattened by that. I think also he needed some space from it in case what did happen happened.

I will need someone to supply me with plenty of ice packs for my fanjo for the next few days. I texted DH saying I had ovulation pains and he relied "Ready for tonight Grin" I am going to be raw and flattened by the end of this month.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 12/05/2016 15:43

Flowers I understand your worries. Just take 1 day at a time.
I wouldn't be worried about only just getting a positive. Most likely scenario is late ovulation or implantation.

Thanks so much. Really wish you guys the best of luck as well. Such lovely people on here and i can't believe there is no one in real life who I can speak to as much as I natter away on here.

JoMalones · 12/05/2016 15:42

Congratulations Cheeky!

HopefulKate1980 · 12/05/2016 15:41

Cheeky, Go to the doctors, ask for blood tests and get some piece of mind. It's amazing news. It's not that faint and you have just had loads of fluid. You could have ovulated later than you think. We are all here to support you xx

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 12/05/2016 15:36

Oh wow Cheeky congratulations! You really deserve this bit of good luck! I hope you have a happy & healthy 9 months Smile

Thank you so much for being happy for me. I just feel sad though. Not because I'm ungrateful but because I don't know how I'll get through to the scan. I would pay for a scan everyday if I could. I just prefer knowing either way and then at least you can deal with it. My heart broke when I got to 12 weeks and I miscarried.

Is it a concern that I'm 4 days late and it was an early detection test and it's only faint? Do you think I should tell DH?

Brenna24 · 12/05/2016 15:30

Congratulations Grin Best of luck.
