Flowers Take it easy on yourself today Miami these milestones are really tough.

jpeg (my phone wants to autocorrect your name to Josef!) I've had sore nipples from ov until AF ever since my mc. Don't remember it being an AF symptom before mc but then I pay more attention to my body now.

Bertie I've had a watery period since mc. Definitely not the 1st or 2nd, they were very heavy but perhaps the 3rd, can't quite remember.

Feel really teary this morning for no good reason. Might have to listen to some ballads & get it all out. AF due in 5 days so no doubt pmt getting an early start.

Hugs Miami. My 12 week scan was supposed to be on the 10th anniversary of Dad's death. I was really looking forward to something positive on the day.

AmyB1986 · 18/05/2016 08:38

JPEG I get sore nipples and my boobs feel hot and really full but by 6-7 dpo they go back to normal. I also get a temp dip sometimes 2-3 dpo it's a fallback rise. Your temp will probably sort itself out again tomorrow morning. All sorts can affect your temp, I find when I've had a restless nights sleep or I've got up in the night my temp is a bit lower in the morning.

Miami I took opk's throughout the day, I did one at 10, 2 and between 6 & 9pm depending on what time I got home from work at. I hope you're ok, reaching significant dates is really tough.

My skin is even worse this morning. It's all greasy and the spots are really sore and painful to touch. Looked back on my chart for last month and I had a skin breakout a few days after ovulation before I got af as well, must be hormonal changes attacking my skin.
I had no gifts from my cats this morning, they were both asleep in their beds when I got up, don't blame them it's chucking it down here. Good for the garden but not for hunting cats.

jpeg28 · 18/05/2016 08:34

Miami I'm cd26 now I think. Positive OPK on cd23. It's my first real cycle so that's why I've ov late I guess. The temp has worried me though. I suppose only time will tell!

Sorry that today was your scan... I was a mess the day that it was supposed to be mine. Make sure you treat yourself somehow!

Miami81 · 18/05/2016 07:19

Jpeg what CD are you? You could just be a late ovulation and the nipples are just another crazy symptom.
Have you seen anything on boards about Agnes cactus? From what I have read it is supposed to help regulate ovulation and get your cycle back on track.
I feel all weird and crampy today. Due to ovulate any time now. Can I do OPK's in the morning? I think I saw posted that should be later in the day but i drink lots and lots of water at work so just don't think I would manage to OPK later.
Worried we have missed my surge as DH and I are still a bit all over the place with dtd.
Today was supposed to be my 12 week scan. Sad

jpeg28 · 18/05/2016 06:43

Amy in my first few weeks pg my skin was awful!!! And since then it's so much worse than it ever was before. As a teenager I never got spots and now I get them all the time.

5tardusty hope af is just around the corner.

So my temps didn't rise today... They dipped. So fertility friend doesn't think I ovulated. I did have to get up in the night a couple of times so maybe that affected it?? And woke up loads as my bf was talking in his sleep!!

On another note... My nipples are sooooo sore!!! Any one else had this around ovulation??? I had it last time I was pg but it's way too early for symptoms!

BertieBotts · 17/05/2016 22:49

I forgot to phone the clinic today, oops. Oh well, will have to phone tomorrow.

I have googled the blood and it's nothing particularly worrying so I'm sure it's fine, just a bit weird.

Brenna24 · 17/05/2016 22:12

Waves to 5tardusty. I hope AF turns up soon.

Amy I had awful acne as a teenager. Luckily it has cleared up over the years and I am quite glad to have got it over with by now.

No idea bertie

Glad you have a good birthday Whats. I think you are right about waiting to test.

I didn't have to mop the floors when I got home from work today. DDog is definitely on the mend and had some boiled rice and chicken for dinner.

Nitnat10 · 17/05/2016 21:28

Glad you had a good birthday whatsername, I wouldn't have tested either, I don't think I'd ever want to test till I was pretty sure it would be a BFP!
waiting have ranged from 28 to 56 days myself, but before I started taking the pill was pretty much dead on 29 all the time, and for the period I was off the pill, was regular until the crazy long cycle in which i conceived. So this long cycle business seems new to me. Sort of reassuring to have a long cycle buddy though, even if I wouldn't really wish it on anyone.
Lucky I'm the opposite, the pill was great for me, was much more even tempered and liked my predictable cycle. But I like your sanguine attitude, I should take a leaf out of your book and be a bit more zen about it!
Amy am holding my breath since our move as our cats have got a cat flap again for the first time in two years, so expecting "gifts" to appear any day now...Glad your dog is feeling better Brenna

BertieBotts · 17/05/2016 21:13

Nah it's not brown for me, it's definitely fresh red blood, it's just more like blood from a cut than period blood if that makes sense? Not so tissuey. Like there isn't much womb lining.

I could be imagining things though! Maybe I should go back to using my cup. I am not used to using pads so maybe that's why.

Whatsername17 · 17/05/2016 21:10

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! Had a lovely day but haven't tested. Because of my crazy post miscarriage cycles af could arrive anytime so going to wait until I'm 'late late'.

jodiebee664 · 17/05/2016 21:07

Hi Bertie, mine was the same this month - not sure what it means. I googled brown discharge (sorry tmi) and a lot came up saying if it came in place of period it could be 'Implantation bleeding' so I got momentarily excited and took a test but it was negative. It then lasted longer that what googling said it would - was def lighter and darker than normal though x

BertieBotts · 17/05/2016 20:47

AF is being a bit weird. Can anyone relate? It was spotty yesterday, still light today but darker blood than normal and thinner. Is that because it's likely to be anovulatory? It's been stringy/mucousy but not clotty.

I can also get away with a pantyliner but that is fairly normal for me. Possibly it's slightly lighter than normal still, hard to tell.

LuckyinOctober · 17/05/2016 20:01

Nitnat my cycles are longer post-MC, but because I got pregnant straight after I stopped taking the pill I'm not sure that's anything other than my body adjusting to it's own rhythm rather than an artificially induced one. My cycle norm is now 31-33 days, and I have a latish OV within that at CD 19-21, which gives me like you about two weeks of proliferative phase once AF stops and nearly two weeks of luteal phase after OV. I'm becoming more accepting of that though as my moods are more positive off the pill than previously on it, and particularly in the proliferate phase. There are plusses of that being long too, like more time when I feel unpressurised by TTC and am motivated to do other things. I also notice I'm calm and contented in the luteal phase now. Currently CD25 and no sign of PMS (yet)!

AmyB1986 · 17/05/2016 19:39

Waiting I agree with Brenna and you're right at least she ate some of it!

5tar hope af shows soon for you.

I've cleaned the house and washed all the bedding today, it was very sweaty work. My skin is awful as well, broken out in teenage style acne. Massive sore spots it's horrid. I didn't really get spots as a teenager but they've gotten worse as I've got older.

5tardusty · 17/05/2016 19:06

Waving to all of you. I'm so bored of this non cycle now. 31 days since medi mgmt and still waiting for... Anything. Absolutely nothing about my boring flipping lazy incompetent ovaries to report but i am lurking!

Brenna24 · 17/05/2016 18:09

Grin waiting There is no better preparation for parenting than having pets. I am not even phased by waking up to find out the house has been pebbledashed.

Waitingformiracles · 17/05/2016 17:49

Nitnat I have really long cycles too although mine come and go. One month it could last 33 days the next 63 days which is so frustrating. The shortest cycle I've ever had in my life was 29 days and the longest 70. I know they get thrown off if I'm stressed but strangely it's normally the next cycle not the current one that is affected but apart from that I haven't a clue. I'm in my mid 20s and have never been on hormonal contraception in my life and eat well and exercise so no idea what's causing it. I haven't posted on here for a while as it's so frustrating and as you say it feels like you have less chances to ttc in a year.

Amy and Brenna DH is trying to persuade me to get a pet but you've reminded why I'm not keen....Grin

Happy birthday whatshername!

Brenna24 · 17/05/2016 13:37

At least she ate part of it, instead of just killing it to create an art installation. I never feel quite so bad when they do it for food.

AmyB1986 · 17/05/2016 13:10

Brenna glad your dog is feeling better. My cat is in the bad books, I got up to a dead wood pigeon half eaten on my conservatory floor! I hate it when they kill birds, mice are fine but birds no. It seriously makes me want to re-home them Sad

Brenna24 · 17/05/2016 08:27

Nitnat. No experience sorry.

Glad you are feeling more normal Amy

Happy birthday for today What.

DDog and I slept through the night and I didn't have to mop the floors this morning. He didn't explode on his walk either. I am trying him with boiled rice for breakfast. Hopefully I won't have to mop the lfoors when I get home from work.

AmyB1986 · 17/05/2016 08:14

Happy birthday whatshername hope you have a lovely day.

Nitnat my lp varies between 11 & 14 days although they say that the lp is fairly consistent mine isn't. I do t know what it varies.

Fertility friend has changed my o date and cover line this morning so I'm only 6dpo not 8 according to that now which does correlate more accurately with my other signs and the pain I had cd13 is where it is now saying I o'd. Trusting it as I don't know anymore than my temp rise and cm this month. Usually by 6dpo I start having cramps but I'm not this time. Hoping this is a good sign that my cycle is normal again, sure the cramps were some after effect of the mc.

jpeg28 · 17/05/2016 07:01

Happy birthday whatshername hope you have a lovely day!

I do temp Miami... Temp was up 0.3 today so hoping that's enough to signify ov. Temps have been all over the place since MC. We dtd sat sun mon... I just hope that's enough! I'm also trying to be super healthy. I know there is nothing I can do now but wait.

Good luck seeing the doctor nitnat. Hope they have some quick answers for you. Before my MC my cycles were normal and now after they are long but I'm hoping our bodies just take a while to get back to normal.

Nitnat10 · 16/05/2016 22:45

I take pre-pregnancy multi-vits but otherwise nothing specific.
I had 3 cycles in a row with a 7 day luteal phase (the frustration of a 48 day cycle and only a 7 day lp is some next level anxiety inducing witchery) when I started temping for ttc #2, which did worry me (I fell pregnant with DD1 the month I started temping so had no idea if that was 'normal' for me). But then got a bfp two cycles later (mc) and cycle after mc went to 11 days so we'll see if that stabilises.
Clearly my body is all over the place, so will feel relieved if I can see a dr about it.

Miami81 · 16/05/2016 22:21

Happy birthday whatsername.
Nitnat - I'm afraid I haven't experienced long cycles. Do you take any of the vitamins and things to try and get it back to your normal?? Is it Angus cactus or something that is supposed to help. I have been taking b complex and magnesium since the mc.
I had been worried about mine as they were 23 - 25 days before the mc. I thought my luteul phase was too short to conceive, but that seems like it was ok, although obviously not carried yet so maybe still an issue lurking there.
