The cramps have started and they really bloody hurt! Have loads to do today, cleaning etc! Hoping today will be the worst of the cramping as I have an early shift at work tomorrow morning and my manager is observing me with my patients I really don't want to be in a bad mood for that. Can't wait to dtd again, it's only been two days but I always feel really frisky when af is here Confused af is too heavy to attempt it though.

Kate I'm hopeful my body has recovered with this last cycle. Physically this last cycle was the best. I had no lp cramping hence being unaware of af's coming until having a wee first thing. I didn't have that sluggish feeling during my lp either which I have had since mc. Good luck with your scan Hun, I really hope they can give you some good news.

Brenna I always seem to get a are throat 4dpo and start to feel I have a cold coming on. Maybe worth you mentioning your cough to your consultant when you go.

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 09:00

Yes I'm hopeful we will get our babies at some point!

The bloods will be taken at 11 and I hope they will be able to call me before closing tonight. Then hopefully we can decide how to manage this.

This amount of cramping, albeit not much bleeding, cannot be anything but a miscarriage. It comes and goes in waves.

Brenna24 · 24/05/2016 08:55

I forgot to say last night. Lucky is right Mrs. You do need to grieve and acknowledge that it is a very sad thing. Flowers We are all sad with you.

So sorry Amy.

Best of luck today Cheeky and Kate. Everything crossed for you. Kate, that does sound positive. Cautious optimism for you from here.

It only takes once writer and yours were at the right time.

I have yet another really chesty cough and a low grade fever. Right after implantation could have happened and before AF is due. That is the 3rd month in a row. How am I supposed to be able to keep a baby alive when it is being cooked out of my body every month? I am so upset about this.

Oh cheeky my poor love, can you get some sleeping pills? You must take time off if it gets too much. You need your body to get through this quickly so you can start trying again and capitalise on all the post-MC boost in hormones etc. When will the EPU call you? Sending you lots of love you brave brilliant lady xxx

Writerwannabe83 · 24/05/2016 08:19

Hello all, it's been a while since I posted but I'm now in the 2ww. I only managed to DTD the day before my positive OPK and the day after it.

I'm going to go back and catch up now.....

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 08:12

I wish I could meet all you lovely ladies in real life and have a big hug. Really hope it's good news for you hopeful. I've heard HCG can increase slower in some ladies initially and it's not necessarily an issue. Obviously can understand your concern though. The waiting game is the hardest. The fear of the Unknown. And omg the few seconds between machine being switched on and placed on your tummy and the sonographer speaking really does feel like a lifetime. Scans for me will never be the same again.

I just want to get to the other end of the miscarriage now so I can look forward again.

Totally agree with what your saying re each cycle being a chance for the body to recover that bit more.

Just at work - I start at 8. I don't know how I would pass the time at home by myself hopeful. I've not been sleeping last few days - I'm in this heightened state of anxiety where I'm just not able to switch off which is so silly as I know the outcome. It's like I'm bracing myself. I've been drinking loads of coke and not eating much.

HopefulKate1980 · 24/05/2016 08:04

Morning girls.

Amy I am so sorry AF has got you. I didn't realise this until I saw my consultant but my body didn't actually recover until cycle 4 after my MMC and he says it takes bodies a while to build up the lining, get rid of clots etc. So please don't lose hope. Every single cycle your body repairs and gets stronger until BOOM!

Mrs hope you are feeling better.

IC and Lucky are you testing today?

Lovely Cheeky how are you? Hope you have had a restful evening.

I am in a strange state. Last night I got my progesterone level from the hospital which is at an encouraging 82 and this morning I got a 2-3 on a CB, which means my levels have gone up. HOWEVER, all of this can still be because it is ectopic or non-viable, and the slow rising HCG levels remains a problem. I am absolutely dreading dreading dreading the few second delay when the scanner goes on and then the sonographer speaks. I have been here twice before and it ended badly and I cannot face that again.

I have to go to work tomorrow as we have a huge presentation this week but if it's bad news, I don't know how I will do that. It is also highly probable that they won't be able to see anything as it is so early and I will have to go to work expecting to miscarry at any moment. Cheeky I admire you so much for having the strength to go. I am not sure how I will do that.

ARGH!! I so wish this wasn't happening. But I cannot say how much I appreciate all your support and kindness. I wish nothing but luck, happiness and magic for us all. I know we'll get there.xxxxx

AmyB1986 · 24/05/2016 07:46

Good luck cheeky & Kate with your tests and scan today.

Mrs I hope you feel better today, I keep feeling down too. I keep thinking though that every cycle is a new chance.

Af got me this morning with no warning! I'm guessing sore boobs is a new af symptom for me now. This mc has really changed everything. Looking at my chart, I had 3 possible ov days this month as I had 3 temp rises. I could have a 14, 12 or 9 day lp although FF was sure I o'd on cd13 giving me a 12 day lp. On to cycle 4 posts mc for us!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 24/05/2016 07:43

Good luck today Kate and cheeky, thinking of you both

I feel like AF is coming this morning so I might not make it to Wednesday to test

Good luck Cheeky and Kate. I'll be thinking of you.

Welcome Jingle. So sorry you are here. Hopefully you will get as much support out of this place as I have.

THat is so exciting Whats. Everything crossed for you.

I went to see my godson tonight and gave him his birthday presents, had a good old party with him and some balloons and read his bedtime story. we had a great laugh.

redstrawberries101 · 23/05/2016 22:13

I think I'd be feeling suicidal if it was y for this thread so your not along Mrs unsure. As lucky says, it's good to grieve rather than brave facing it all the time.

mrs sometimes I find I need to allow myself to feel sadness and grief, rather than try to be positive all the time. Sometimes I find trying to be positive makes it worse. The other thing that helps me is to remind myself that however painful something is, it always passes and fades. And that I will feel happy again and have good times around again soon. Hope you can be gentle with yourself tonight xx

LuckyinOctober · 23/05/2016 21:49

cheeky and kate hope tomorrow's appointments bring you some answers and some peace of mind.

insufficiently Wednesday is test day for me too assuming AF isn't here by then.

I've been in a happy energetic mood all day, which doesn't really fit with either pregnancy or PMT in my experience. I've learned symptom spotting is full of red herrings but still watch myself falling into the trap every time.

Sorry my response before was to Mrs not whats re it being tough....i think through all those scenarios in my head too...my mc was in August and kept thinking how we'd have a baby by next Christmas anyway but then some days just feels like it will never happen!

Miami81 · 23/05/2016 21:03

Oh cheeky I really feel for you in that situation. It feels really unfair that everyone else seems to have blissful, easy pregnancies. But I promise it does just feel like that. They will probably be nervous wrecks still about it. And at least when you have yours they will have been through it and will be able to support you. Smile

redstrawberries101 · 23/05/2016 20:53

Sorry mrsunsure. The due date of my first mmc is fast approaching July 19th. My best friend is due on 4 July and then the other one 30 July. When I found out I was pregnant this time I felt happy that at least I'll be preg when they gave birth. Now this dream is shattered too.

Miami81 · 23/05/2016 20:52

Hi ladies
Very busy day so just catching up on posts. Good luck to cheeky and Kate tomorrow. Such daunting days in front of you but hopefully there will be good news.
All the best.
Mrs that is very tough. But it will be you soon, stay strong and believe it.

redstrawberries101 · 23/05/2016 20:50

Thanks girls. I just feel it's over for me and the quicker it's confirmed the better. Started cramping again and had a bit of bleeding.

jpeg28 · 23/05/2016 20:46

Good luck tomorrow cheeky and kate... I'll be praying for a miracle for both of you.
