Thanks JPEG. Great information.

jpeg28 · 24/05/2016 18:07

miami I am certainly no expert as this is my second month temping and first full cycle since MC... But I would say it doesn't look like you have ovulated yet as you need 3 consecutive high temp/temp rises to confirm. However... I didn't ov this month until cd26 so don't give up yet!!

Miami81 · 24/05/2016 18:04

Sorry to all with sad news today. Such a shame. Kate try to stay hopeful. It ain't over until AF comes.
I have attached my chart, I wondered if anyone who temps could shed any light on it. This is my first chart since mc. I thought I ovulated on Friday due to high temp, but things all seem very level and quite low at around 36.4 since then!!
I really doubt I will conceive this cycle, just want to try and map my cycle getting back into action if that makes sense. I would really like to be able to judge when next ovulation might be as DH is away so much it stresses me out not knowing........

Cheeky I am so so so so very sorry, from the bottom of my heart. I really hope you find some comfort over the next few days and weeks and things look brighter soon. Thankgod for such an amazing bunch of women on here.

I know in my heart that this pg isn't viable. I have these glimmers of hope but then they are dashed again by the reality of it all. The pain will ease though when it does happen I am sure, and the future will simply take a different shape.

Good luck for all those testing and all those fighting through these testing times.

xxxx

Hi everyone... Lots of messages to catch up on... Hope I don't miss anyone out!

kate I am so hopeful that it's good news in 10 days for your next scan. Fingers X for you and it sounds like good news is still a possibility.

cheeky I'm so sorry the MC was confirmed. I think you're amazingly strong to even get the bus there. I was a mess and could barely function for a whole week. Make sure you look after yourself

insufficiently I'll have my fingers x for you tomorrow! I'm now 8dpo, temps shot back up today to highest they have been all cycle. But I also feel really really afy like spotty and crampy so I'm not very hopeful.

amy I'm sorry af got you... You are so positive though so I'm sure this month is the one for you!

mrs... Crying is good! I think it really helps to properly grieve even if it's for short bursts before we put on a positive face again!

brenna... Great gift!!! My boyfriend would love that!

Brenna24 · 24/05/2016 14:33

Oh and I have broken DH with his anniversary present. I bought him a huge leg of serrano ham as he always casts it longing looks in lidl. He pretty much shot out of bed through to the kitchen to make breakfast with it when I gave it to him. But he put his back out slicing it and can now barely move. I really hope it eases off quickly but I did find it kind of funny too (as did he). We both had the giggles at the ridiculousness of the injusry. He said he is in for a lot of tesing at work today. Whatsername17 · 24/05/2016 14:13

BertieBotts · 24/05/2016 14:04

I'm in Germany Brenna.

So sorry Cheeky Flowers

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 14:02

Defo a miscarriage obviously

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 14:02

Will catch up inabit but just wanted to say my levels dropped to 45. It's a 65% drop and their cut off is 66% so they will check once more on Friday xx

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 13:16

Hope it's just early days for you hopeful. The waiting game is the hardest so keep talking to us.

The Hosp will call this afternoon with results.

Brenna24 · 24/05/2016 13:14

That is lovely Bertie. Where do you live at the moment (if you don't mind me asking)?

That sounds hopeful Kate. I really hope it is just early days.

HopefulKate1980 · 24/05/2016 12:57

Hi everyone

How did you get on cheeky? Sending you so many thoughts.

The scan was inconclusive - they couldn't see anything in my fallopian tubes and there were three or four small flecks in my uterus, one which measured about 6mm but at this stage, because my HCG levels are still so low, they don't know whether that is the start of a sac or just random flecks. There could also still be something in my tubes but they simply can't see it because its too early...

They took some more bloods so will call with my results later on. Fingers crossed they have gone up again. I am seeing my consultant tomorrow to go through the results and see what is next. Next scan is in 10 days at which stage they hope to see something...

So basically far from out the wood but it is better than them having seen an ectopic. That still could be the case, but today there is a big of hope.

Thanks for all your support. xxx

Today I've had a lovely long chat with one of my best friends who I have been avoiding a bit as she has a very very cute 14 week old. Managed to talk about the birth which was quite difficult for her and they both had serious infections afterwards too. It was good to catch up and we talked about the MC as well and she was lovely and supportive. We are going to arrange to meet up at new years which seems crazy in advance but that is what we are doing these days apparently! I will try to get back to UK at some point this summer I think as well.

Brenna24 · 24/05/2016 12:09

Mine last month ended up lighter than a period. Just with far worse cramps. I hope yours isn't bad too.

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 12:07

Thanks for the tip Brenna. The lady who took my bloods was nice. She will phone me in a few hours. She explained how medical or surgery won't really be suited to this type of early miscarriage so it'll be au natural. Next time they will offer an early scan if I get to that stage.

Not heard from hopeful yet - really hoping it's good news for her.

Brenna24 · 24/05/2016 11:20

Good luck Cheeky. I found PullUps for 8-15 year old boys at the big out of town Boots. I wore those for the worst days of bleeding when I miscarried the first time as it was too much even for a night time or maternity pad. It was a bit weird walking around wearing a nappy but it meant i could get off the loo and get on with life.

redstrawberries101 · 24/05/2016 11:09

Brenna I would raise your cold like symptoms to the doctor and also make sure you are taking a good vitamin C.

Insufficiently it's nice you have made plans for eloping. A meal with the family afterwards sounds like a lovely way to announce!

I think I'll read that book as well. Has anyone read any books on miscarriage?

Just got to the Hosp and almost burst into tears when a bus driver smiled at me. The I got all frustrated in the car park as people have parked in two spaces and there was no spaces left. Anyway I'm here now and waiting to be seen.

Really hope the nurse /midwife will discuss the miscarriage options. I'm cramping in a way that I feel like it's all going to pour out.

Just going to Hosp. Thinking of you hopeful you'll be in your scan...

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 24/05/2016 09:40

Amy my sex drive goes through the roof right at the heaviest point of af too which I think is just a cruel trick of nature!

So I saved up my fmu and got a test this am because what's the point in being self-employed if you can't spend your time nipping to the shops and peeing on sticks? BFN obviously, that'll teach me, should have waited until tomorrow like I planned! af is one day late but feel mildly crampy, a bit down emotionally and very spotty, all clear signs that af is due imminently. 15dpo, cd 29. Having ewcm on and off throughout the month means that it's very possibly I ovulated later than I thought but we managed to dtd so much this month that there's no way we could have missed an egg whenever it appeared!

Decided if this month isn't the one I'm going to get a copy of it starts with the egg and really look in to what could be physically wrong with me to be causing problems. Could of course be dp and I'll get him on board but given my thyroid problems I'd imagine it's most likely me. Also going to see gp again if this month isn't the one for me. A whole year of trying, I never imagined it'd be so hard. My little sister has two and is about to hear if she's approved for fostering another, I just want one

Keeping positive by focussing on wedding stuff. Decided to go straight away on honeymoon day after the ceremony and have a family meal arranged for when we get back to tell everybody we just got married Grin
