helllloooo! hi all, thankyou for good vibes. I still SO need them.
well, af pains yesterday, was convinced i was gonna start, but nothing. They went off a bit last night, and have had them slightly on and off all day today, but nothing!!!! You know how it is, bit of "chocolate milkshake gunk" (sorry way tmi but am trying to explain!) at the very start of your af, then progressively turns more and more to af..........Not. A. Drop. Nada. Zilch. Zero.
Am making myself keep thinking my af is just around the corner.............but so far it doesnt seem to be the case.
Still not testing, though i feel it is getting harder and harder not to! Keep telling myself if i can just get to next thursday, it will be day 40, then i will allow myself to find out for sure it is bfn.
Wannabe........i keep reminding myself of the time that the gp said to you, "if you aren't pregnant, i'll eat my hat! "

Sorry to crash this thread but have a few questions for PCM.

1. Did you have regular periods before ovairan drilling?
2. If not did they become regular after op?
3. how long did that take?

pussycat I totally get where you're coming from, in fact you've quoted almost word for word what I've said to others on so many threads "if you wait to test and you're pregnant you'll still be pregnant" ... .

Didn't read about the bleed but ironically I had similar yesterday (also cd23. Was like a sudden little gush iyswim, there was blood, had to change underwear etc (tmi sorry) but today nothing. Still I don't go down the "am I aren't I" route any more lol.

They like to keep us guessing...

I was just reading coggys catch up thread and saw your post, lovely to bump into you, sorry i am not very good at keeping in touch! btw, WELL DONE on the size 10's!!!!! am v.v. impressed!
The thing is, i really dont want to test, because if i do it tomorrow, cd31, if i get a bfn i will tell myself that i tested too early. This way, i know my af is imminent, so when it comes, yes i will be disappointed, but there is no mistaking it is there? if you know what i mean! I have told myself if i have not started af and get to day 40 then i will do a test. I am making myself wait that long as i cant stand the disappointment and the not knowing. I would rather have my little bubble of fake/possible hope just to last a little while longer. If i am pregnant, then i'll still be pregnant if i test in 10days time. If im not preg then i will prob get af before then.
Sorry to waffle sweetie. Did you read about the little bleed i had on day 23 further down the thread? i have almost convinced myself it was an implantation bleed, but who knows?? If af arrives, it will just have been a bit of random spotting and wont have meant anything.
This is still so, so hard.

pussycat, no simptoms doesn't mean no pregnancy. in fact there are tons and tons and tons of posts on here from people every month saying "I have x simptom, so I'm sure I'm pregnant", only for af to arrive spot on time, and then when those people do fall pg the posts say "I have absolutely no simptoms". in reality, simptoms are usually apparent from about 6 wks when the heartbeat is detectable so it's actually very uncommon to have pregnancy simptoms before a missed period.

so, why not do a test - it'll put your mind at rest one way or the other?

I had absolutely no simptoms when I was first pregnant with ds, in fact i had heavy bleeding around the time of af with cramps etc as well. I thought it strange I'd only bled for two days but it wasn't until two weeks later when i fainted at work that I decided to do a test just in case, and my dh said "I'm not wasting another bloody 8 quid on a test that's going to be negative", and it was positive.

Well, I had cramping when I got pregnant with DD - so bad I thought I was dying. Then discovered I was preg and it lasted until I was 7 weeks along with awful sickness. I do not want to be responsible for getting your hopes up but I agree with you about trying to forget about it until wednesday. With each day that passes your proving how strong you can be and with each day that passes your hormone level may be increasing.... Best of Luck to you. If not, then maybe next month you should go away for a few days of fertile passion!!

I sped through each addition to this thread itching to know if your pregnant or not. The Clearblue digital are usable from 4 days prior to period being due and its great cause its really clear - a flashing Pregnant or Not Pregnant.
I tried for over 7yrs with no luck, then accidentally caught and miscarried, accidentally caught again and had DD. It was a hard slog for a long time but I can say with confidence that as soon as you introduce FUN into sex (and therefore less focus on conception) that you will probably catch much more quickly. Stress makes for a hostile womb environment (seriously!!) so you really need to relax, hard I know (really I do know) but if you can it might help. I will be watching this thread closely and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you. Good Luck. x

I am on cd30 and must have the iron will of a nun or someone because I HAVENT TESTED and I DONT HAVE ANY IN THE HOUSE and IM DAMN WELL NOT DOING ONE!!!!!
Apart from all the air freshner smell thing going on, i dont have any "symptoms" so i guess af must be on her way. I so hope she stays away though! Have felt crampy all day, feels like i should have started but after running to the loo all morning "knicker-watching" there is not a single sign of af starting at all.
AAAAARRRRRGGGHGHGHG!!!!!! this is torture.
I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone , because as you know, it aint over till the af starts, lets try and stay hopeful xx

Well my will power wasn't strong enough and found myself at 7 this morning doing a pg test - needless to stay it was a BFN which I thought it would be but just wanted to put my mind at rest. Not actually expecting af until around Wednesday but have the typical syptoms I usually get so quite sure I'm not pg this month.

Not too diasappointed though as only first month of ttc and also means another month of no morning sickness which can't be a bad thing

Fingers crossed for you becky that you just took the test too early and there is still a BFP on its way to you.

I have got two clear blue early predictor tests sitting on my draws and have been soooooooooo tempted to test all day but have been managing to talk myself out of it so far, however, I think I might just have to do one tomorrow morning although I'm quite sure af is on her way as have mild cramps but just want to put my mind at rest.
