I've never had them before either but i recently had a bout of itchiness there and looked into it and they said just get over the counter haemorrhoid cream. It went away on its own in the end but that's probably all you need to see if they go away.

Jod1985 · 27/04/2016 23:17

Ladies...embarrassing TMI post. I think I have haemorrhoids BlushSad I have never had them before and they are sore and itchy. Trust me to get them when TTC. Now they aren't very big but anyone know how to treat them? Or what causes them?

raddersmrs · 27/04/2016 21:54

Aw tee that's lovely! Heh we are all entitled to a moan... Especially on here.

When I got pregnant I didn't notice any symptoms other than being really emotional and as it went further down the line creamy CM. I still had creamy when i miscarried.

Racja I don't think men get as excited as us go a point but I think from there point of view they kind of do it and that's it. We have the whole body experience to and looking for symptoms etc. So different for us.

I'm so tired and can't be bothered to dtd .... Yawn!

Tee4me · 27/04/2016 21:31

Feel bad for moaning about DH now, he came home and surprised me with a gorgeous underwear set (belated Anniversary!) and has spent the evening looking on the iPad for weekend hotel breaks!! Coincidentally he's looking at next weekend (ovulation time!) not that I've mentioned the fantastic timing! Yay!! Grin

My partner is all for dtd and it's me who can't be bothered ha! Have to think of the end goal!

footprints I see why you're not sure what's going on with you eggs! Fingers crossed for the 5th/6th! Is that when you will be testing?

radders when my opks arrive I will probably be asking for your help too, you've got the knowledge Smile

Racja14 · 27/04/2016 20:23

radders I wish DH was more like yours but he's like been there, done that but this is my first and I just want him to be a bit more excited about it

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:46

Yes, Dtd yesterday, planned to do it again tonight. I will also plan for tomorrow and Saturday! How soon after 'if' pregnant do you notice any symptoms?

raddersmrs · 27/04/2016 19:42

Did you dtd yesterday?? Try to dtd again tonight, tomorrow and Then Saturday xx

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:40

Thanks Radders! That's useful to know!! These threads are so educational!!! Smile

raddersmrs · 27/04/2016 19:39

Summer that doesn't mean you've ovulated it just means the surge has gone so you will ovulate 12-36 hours after your dark one yesterday. It will go light the day after the dark one normally I would say xxx

raddersmrs · 27/04/2016 19:37

WOW!!!! So much to catch up on. Was like reading a book. I've had to lie on the bed to have a good read.

Glad everyone is ok.

Footprints can't wait for you to do a test just to see. Sounding positive and hope all becomes clearer when you go to your appointment.

I love OBEM! I always cry too although didn't so much this week. OH knows it's being put on our tv at 9 on a Tuesday!

Still had a bit of bleeding but should be OK to dtd tonight. I did another opk and the line was a bit darker so keen to get on it as soon as possible. I only have 11 left so need to use them sensibly!

Don't know why the men are complaining. So ungrateful! Like you said, they wouldn't be happy if it wasn't there.
To be honest my OH is completely different and is down with the plan and when we should do it and makes sure we do it at the right time so we have more of a chance. Maybe it's because it's our first??
It's handy both of us knowing when to do it because then if one of us isn't in the mood the other one is like common!!

I probably won't last until 22nd not testing but I'm certainly not doing it super early again.

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:29

Oh really!! This ovulation lark is doing my head in!!!

Jod1985 · 27/04/2016 19:26

Summerblush I don't think it stays strong til after ovulation. Could be wrong though? Mine where the same. Strong on Friday and lighter Saturday. I don't think I ovulated until Sunday though.

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:24

I'm glad I didn't follow my app as it has the dates muddled for expected ovulation.

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:22

I'm so glad I did the opk yesterday. You saw the positive result. I guess I've ovulated as I've just done another opk and this is the result. I've not felt any different in myself, like cramps or ov pains. :/(

footprints it really does sound like PG symptoms you are having! When will the IC's arrive?

Apart from tiredness I have no real symptoms. Some creamy Discharge but that's it. Felt more pregnant a few weeks ago! Trying to stay distracted and not think too much about it but it's hard isn't it?

Summerblush1982 · 27/04/2016 19:18

Not to worry, ignore my last post! Found new thread :-)

Jod1985 · 27/04/2016 19:12

Hi ladies, just catching up. I lay in bed this afternoon and fell asleep for three hours!! Oooppppps!!!

SuchaJem · 27/04/2016 19:00

Those are some impressive ovaries footprints. Really hope you catch at least one of those lil eggs!

DH will not watch OBEM either. He gets all squirmy and starts looking at his phone.

racja haha mine would be scornful of pillow under bum / feet up the wall too. Needs must!

To be honest he's seen me cry a few times now when AF comes, so I think that might be why he is complaining less about the aggro sex.

Racja14 · 27/04/2016 18:58

Footprints glad to hear it's not just me! They don't realise how easy they've got it, we're the ones who do all the hard work after all!

Racja14 · 27/04/2016 18:52

Ha ha Tee love the cake analogy, I'll have to remember that one! I'm sure they play that music on OBEM when they deliver just to make me cry!

Footprints1 · 27/04/2016 18:42

CD 26 Star

Mimi- definitely some get well sex. Play nurse! Wink

Racja- you can't win, when we want it they don't ! when they want it.. They get it anyway! Totally unfair. Oh my DH won't watch one born every min either.

So here comes the EWCM.. Think I'm in for a long long cycle. If I can't ovulate effectively it will just keep on trying.. And I'll be exhausted from dtd every week until it happens! Sad have cramps too. Weird! Not testing yet. Will wait see what my temp does tomorrow. It dipped this morn so I guess if it goes up again it's ov again!?!???

Tee4me · 27/04/2016 18:39

Ha! Jem that did make laugh!
Jeez what are all these men moaning about! My DH is very much like 'if it happens it happens'. Seems like a silly attitude to have to me when you've made a decision to TTC... I mean, if you want to bake a cake, you don't just throw a load of crap in a bowl and say 'meh, if it happens it happens', you take measurements and follow a recipe, if you want best chance of getting it right?!
My hubby told me the other day he wouldn't care if it happened now or in 6 months, charming!! (although secretly I wish I could feel like that). I definitely have to save OBEM for when I'm home alone, he'd think I was a lunatic if he knew I shed a tear for every birth! Can't help it! Confused

Footprints1 · 27/04/2016 18:33

Spread on toast- FSH is follicle stimulating hormone. It stimulates the ovaries. FSH levels can change month to month so I'm hoping it does so I can conceive. If it's too high you can be in menopause, perimenopause or just stressed! If it's too low you don't have AF or ovulate. If too high you can also not ovulate or it will be erratic.
Sometimes if you have been on pill for long time your ovaries take a longer time to wake up. If they are asleep the FSH goes into overdrive trying to do its job so therefore makes it produce too much hormone.

Racja14 · 27/04/2016 18:01

Oh and I can't even watch OBEM when he's home as according to him he's 'seen one birth (his DD) and that's enough to last him a lifetime' 😕
