You should be hopeful Jem! You tested early on an IC which often can't detect until after a missed period. I will always have hope (because there always is) until AF shows up. We are so close to knowing for sure! Are you officially due on tomorrow? I won't be officially late until Sunday. Need to test Saturday though as I have a hen do!
Jodders yup that's a good thing! I thought sticky & creamy were the same category, thick and off-white colour x

OP posts:
Jodders · 19/05/2016 17:25

Ok so googled again. What I had there was creamy/sticky as it was tacky and not stretchy. My black pants have had streaks of dry, white CM on them for 2 days now. That's good right?

Jodders · 19/05/2016 17:10

Another question for you girls it may be Tmi. Ok so what does creamy CM look like? How does it differ from, sticky and EWC? I had a blob of cm there now and I don't know if I'm classifying correctly!

SuchaJem · 19/05/2016 15:50

know exactly what you mean about dreading the loo tee. I still don't have a single cramp or twinge though! Wonder if AF might be coming late.

That's great you've got a scan booked foot

I hadn't thought about Zika jod which is ridiculous as my DH is a long haul pilot. He doesn't go to many mosquito-y places though. Eek maybe should have a closer look at his roster Confused

Do you think there's still hope for me at 13 DPO and bfn?

I'm still so pathetically hopeful and cross with myself for holding out any hope Sad

Jodders · 19/05/2016 14:04

I'm going to gran canaria next month. I heard it can effect / be present in men's sperm if they get bitten for 6 months!! I wouldn't be able to not go but I guess I'll take extra precautions with repellent. Still will be nervous though!

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 13:52

glad you are being taken out mimi get him tied to the bed when you get back Wink

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 13:50

Hi Jodders no I doubt we will make it abroad this year as we are saving up for house. I suppose it depends where you are going?

Just had a call about my scan- booked in for next Friday - got to drink 2pints of water! Yes mimi, Wouldn't it be funny if they say there is a baby in there! Wishful thinking! Or twins/triplets! My DH would probably cut his baby making tool off!Confused

Jodders · 19/05/2016 12:24

Hi everyone, I will go back over the comments since I last commented on a minute. I just wondered are any of you going abroad and worried about the Zika virus and the new advice coming out?

Tee4me · 19/05/2016 10:21

Ah Jem sorry about the IC, but agree with the others, still hope! I've put a pad in today and dreading every trip to the loo, but still hoping the cramps are misleading me. I will be going into
cycle 7, so rubbish!! I'm also feeling crap about work.
Mimi glad the situation with DH has improved, hope you are getting taken somewhere nice tomorrow!
Footprints hoping AF arrives quickly for you if it's not a BFP, you must be out of your mind!
Radders I'm starting to wonder if DTD lots really improves anything. Parney was convinced she hadn't DTD enough, and low and behold a BFP. There are so many conflicting theories. Leaving it too long makes the swimmers stale versus too much lowers sperm count. I reckon every 2-3 days during the middle 2 weeks of the cycle is probably the best bet?

Mimilicious013 · 19/05/2016 10:03

Nimisha and jod, hope you are onto pineapples and good luck in the tww.

Physic, sorry abt the loads of work but at least it will keep you busy. We are a day apart so hoping we give a double bfp in the next 3wks

I have noticed that I haven't poas in a while ,af seems to get me way before

Mimilicious013 · 19/05/2016 09:55

Footprints, hope af finally shows up or you are going to be one of those who eventually find when you are already 3mnths(that would be lovely)

H and l finally had a talk last night and he apologised for his pathetic behavior. Taking me out tmwr night, so I guess we are on our way to patching things up. Will secretly keep ttc nowGrin because I don't want him to become too big for his boots hmm!! Cd7Star so fw around the corner

Mimilicious013 · 19/05/2016 09:45

Morning all
jem ,ic @13dpo Hmm I would say don't feel down yet. I always got a bfp on ic days past expected af. Sending you 🍫 to cheer you up! Ttc takes so much emotionally and physically. I always wish I was like those who "didn't know they were pregnant"HUGS

Sorry temp has dropped radders Flowerseveryday brings on new emotions. Hope u OK

Tee still rooting for you. We need to add more people on the grads list

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 09:35

Jem- still early at 13dpo with IC ? Do u think? Hope AF doesn't get you. Yes I know it's so hard when u want something so badly - it takes away the happiness you had before you were trying.

My midwife friend says the most common symptom she heard was tiredness, cramps, creamy cm & darkened brownish nipples. Keep checking your nips girls! Mine went darker with my boys but I didn't notice it until further down the line.

SuchaJem · 19/05/2016 08:28

Morning girls, 13 DPO and got a snowy white bfn on an IC this morning. So I think AF is probably on her way.

I'm gutted Sad just getting so fed up with this.

Went for dinner with some old friends last night and one showed up sporting a 6 month pregnancy bump. Really happy for her but just brought home how much I want it.

Just feel tired at the thought of cycle 6.

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 08:07

Parney- so prams I've seen is the icandy peach all terrain- new one. Looks nice. But think it costs about £1000!! Eeek my friend has one and it really is so easy to fold and clip car seat on and off. Mothercare do a little catalogue of all their prams and baby essential which you can then compare them all. They do all the brands.

Another lady had a bright red silvercross one- I liked that too!

I had a Quinny pram with my first (was 8 years ago), then got a Phil and ted double (as boys were only 16 months apart)
Both were good, but quite stiff to fold up.

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 07:58

Tee -when I got upduffed with my boys it was when I wasn't doing anything. With my first I actually was in the midst of training for a body combat/martial arts certificate that I actually lost 10lbs through intense training. Think I hardly dtd too as previous H and I were not getting on. So really was an accident and a one off! Typical.

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 07:53

Radders- sorry if you think you are out. I know how disappointed you must be. Esp when you were last month.Flowers
You still are not out yet so don't give up hope. Hugs hon Brew

Yes I'm starting to wonder if all this charting is the "stress"? I didn't particularly find it stressful apart from DH not being helpful in fw. Think I have no choice in doing it all anyway, as with my unpredictable cycle id b lost! So need some way of seeing attempted ov days.

Footprints1 · 19/05/2016 07:49

CD48Star

No more spotting.. (Was pink streaked mc just once yesterday)
AF not here yet ?Envybut such bad cramps last night and this morning. It's definitely got to arrive today as my breasts hurt, headache, tummy size of a watermelon, and cramps are making me double over in pain. I woke up in night quite warm (usual with AF).

The whole temping thing is weird as today it has shot back up to 36.55 from the coverline yesterday so now am baffled?

Never thought I would want AF to arrive so badly! Hoping it does today as then at least I will know I am ovulating!

raddersmrs · 19/05/2016 07:24

Tee it's like loss of control isn't it if don't do opk temps etc. This is a process we can't control and I feel that gives us some control back.

But I'm really upset I've not caught this month and I know we dtd enough and at the right time ... So in reality it shows it isn't just about dtd. It's about other things as well and I think one of those is stress. A big part of it actually.

Tee4me · 19/05/2016 07:22

PS. Sorry about your temp drop FlowersChocolate x

OP posts:
Tee4me · 19/05/2016 07:20

Radders I think you make a very good point actually. There's the excitement of seeing the opk peak, but then you're right, it's all the associated stresses.
Really I would love to say this month I want to forget all of it, not track anything, and just DTD regularly, but I don't think I could do it? It's all so ingrained now, I know I'd be thinking about where I am in my cycle and what signs are relevant.
Isn't it ironic that our desperation to get upduffed is probably a factor in prolonging the whole thing. Not fair! x

OP posts:
raddersmrs · 19/05/2016 06:47

I've only felt stressed with it all the passed few days but I think when you're looking for a line doing a temp etc you're stressing out without noticing it. Or not even stressing it's like putting pressure on to make sure dtd the right time then think oh crap didn't do it then or then.

I'm just not going to buy anymore then I have no choice but to dtd regular etc.

Just will try it for one month. If don't catch next month then it makes no difference and I will do them again

raddersmrs · 19/05/2016 06:37

CD27

Morning everyone

Bbt this morning 36.08 so I know now AF is definitely on her way. Don't think I will bother testing.

Footprints has AF arrived??? In some ways it would be good so you knew where you were and your cycle can start again!

Jem opks don't stress me out either when doing them but it's the whole making sure you dtd around them etc. I need to buy more if going to use them so I might just hold off this month

Think it's going to be a tough day knowing that AF is on her way. Roll on next cycle xx

Tee4me · 19/05/2016 06:36

CD26Star12dpo
Morning all
Footprints it'll be nice for you to be back to CD1 (although BFP is the preference of corse!). Any more AF signs?
Radders/Jem I'm totally on board with relaxing more! Opks don't stress me out, I also find they make me feel more reassured and confident. Temping does though, so just aiming to catch the spike again then ditch it.

Massive cramps this morning, AF imminent I fear Sad x

OP posts:
Parney · 18/05/2016 23:15

Footprints that's typical you didn't opk those days! At least you're getting answers/clarity. Please enlighten us with your pram knowlege!! I've been internet browsing but I've no idea what is best. We've recently bought a house and time/energy going in to it is a good distraction. I was sure I'd have given myself the go ahead by now for some baby shopping but I'm more nervous than I thought I'd be! Hi everyone, and welcome Purple! I still love reading the thread!!
