Is this positive?!

My boyfriend and I have tested a day before my period is due but we believe we can see a faint line, very faint line that we had to get a clear blue test but that has also come out faint. We aren't going crazy are we? Does that actually mean we are expecting?!

We have fully taken this as positive and we are very excited to be having our first baby! Still really early days and we are going to wait till Monday to do the second digital test and tell our family and friends even though I've told my sister already as she has had two kids... she went through exactly the same process with her second which is good news for us!

I got my bfp with a FRER both times but it took 4/5 days for the digital test to say pg!

I've had quite a lot of pregnancy symptoms so decided to go and do a test this morning. This is from the second urine of the day. What do you guys think positive or negative?

You are pregnant. Congratulations. The test you have is much more sensitive than the clear blue digital, which is why it says 'not pregnant'. Try again in a few days.

It is very rare for both lines to be as dark as each other. So don't worry.

The Clearblue digital isnt very sensitive. You may get a positive on a digital in another couple of days. Congratulations xx

Yeah I don't mind but it's not as strong as the other line? I did another this morning and this is what I got... I thought it would be to some good if I got the digital clear blue but it took a while for it to say not pregnant so I don't know what is happening... any one know anything?

Looks like a definite positive on the frer to me. Mine was much fainter and my little girl is here trying to crawl around the living room 😀 congratulations!

Have you tried messing around with the photo at all? I've heard that you can manipulate them on your phone to show he line... there is a filter on your phone when you edit the picture that turns the photo to a negative, and then everything on the picture shows up even if it's difficult to see in the original pic... not a definite science but worth a shot! X

So we did a first response and get the same but just a little darker. We are taking this as a positive and not telling family and friends until we have that clear positive! Thank you for the recommendation!

I know very much about the evaporating line but we did tests three days before that show no line at all same with the 4 months we tried before we are really unsure...

I saw lines in 2 of them. With both of mine I had cheap internet ones where I saw very feint lines and then did a digi clear blue day b4 period and it's much easie than 2nd guessing

Failing that, a clearblue digital will tell you a straight yes or no!

I think I can see a very faint line on that last photo! It does seem promising. But try not to get your hopes up too much just in case it is an evap. Like others have said, wait 2 days and try again, or do another one today with a pink dye early response such as First Response or Superdrug. Fingers crossed for you! :)

I can only see a shadow. You either need to wait a couple of days and use another blue dye which should give a definite answer. Or like others have said go and buy a pink dye test which will give you a definite answer right away.

Blue dye tests are well known for showing shadows (evaporation lines) and giving hope when they are actually negative.

I know you are desperate to know but people can't give you an answer from those pictures. Go and get a first response test for an immediate answer! Good luck

I can't see a line. Try a Superdrug own brand one. They have pink dye and show up much more clearly.
