Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Aww I feel for you Mummy! I really hope that it all happends for you this cycle!

I'm going out of my mind..my stomach has really swollen over the past few days (I swear I look 20 weeks gone it is so bloated) and all night I've been suffering from acid reflux, pains on and off as though AF is going to arrive. The only time in my life that I have had acid reflux is during pregnancy but it's only been a week!
It's horrible reading into every sign and symptom. I really feel like this month isn't the month due to the pains I'm getting!
Still another 8 days until AF is due!!

Aww no Mummy! At least you havnt had to have an agonising wait if AF was late. Great that your thinking of the positives now knowing your cycles. From what I've read it is so difficult in your first cycles after mirena so at least now uve had a proper AF your in with a much better chance. Fingers crossed for next O.
I have been in absolute agony these past few days. Think I ovulated on Tuesday just gone but since Wednesday the cramps in my stomach and back are crippling me to the point where I need to sit down.
I have no idea what is going on, maybe this is me getting AF too??!
Well if AF is due when I think it will be 26th so alls I can do is hang in there!
It doesn't help that I go away on 23rd so AF will probs arrive when I'm sunbathing!
Plus we are unable to even TTC next month as I go away again on 4th-19th!

Well, well, AF finally got me this morning! I'll trust my boobs next time as they never let me down pre-AF arrival. I'll never know why my OV day shifted last month and why I ended up with 34 CDs this time! Due to change of countries, from Iraq, permanently returning to the UK, due to unexpected redundancy which was done in a horrific way which prompted me to engage a solicitor to deal with it, it caused me a great deal of stress and upset, I won't lie.
Disappointed about this cycle but must be realistic about this journey and be aware of my age. Became 40 last month. Oh well, marching on, head high...

Age 30, ttc #1, started 2 days ago. Never taken any hormonal contraception and my cycles are regular as clockwork so i know i was ovulating this weekend

I think AF has arrived right on cue but at least it means I might catch the last couple of days of May.

So did a FRER this morning and I swear I see the squintiest of lines. Probably wishful thinking though- especially as I'm due on today!! Will wait a few days and see what happens! Still no antihistamines for me...

Hi Lulu, can't see the line as it reminds me of mine when I tested a couple of days ago. But wait for a couple of more days and do it again. Good luck!

I can't seem to make out another line but u may be able to see more clearly in person. If you think there is something then I'd just wait a few days and then test again.

Hi ladies. I'm new to here, I'm TTC which is tricky as I have PCOS and no periods since coming off pill year ago. However I ovulated according to CB 16 days ago and took test this morning. Can anyone see hint of a line here?! Any input would be welcome! X

CD33 17dpo - sore/tended symptoms disappeared this morning. Usually indicates AF arriving in style immeninently but nothing so far. Brown-ish discharge inside, nothing on the panties. God, this is dragging! Still haven't used my cream just in case! Mad or what! Food shopping time....

I think it's definitely sad that I'm more pissed off about not being able to take my antihistamines than I am about not being able to drink though haha!! So desperate to test today but know there's probably no point until I'm late! Eating pancakes with chocolate on instead...

Funny enough I also had to avoid some prescribed cream, just in case, DH said! Well, got BFN in the past 2 days which makes me think it was too early to test! Since my OV shifted last month, I think AF must have shifted too although it's nothing yet at this moment. Hanging in there

Think I'm out for this month. Thanks to MC in Feb I am now spotting so think I'm having my second period in 2 weeks. Oh joy.

Thanks ladies!! If she shows up then I've got a bottle of Prosecco here to help my sulk!! And it does also mean that I can have a short respite from hayfever/allergies as I can take my antihistamines again- the only ones that work on my ridiculous face are the ones that doctors won't advise for use during pregnancy so I now have to not take them "just in case"!! Yes, I'm aware that this makes me a full on sad act!!

A lot of people have no symptoms until weeks into the pregnancy, apart from the bad skin, I didn't notice anything else before 4-5 weeks with my first.
I wish I could test on Sunday! Jealous!

I agree with you on the spot front- I look like a hormonal teenager at the moment which is delightful!! Spots everywhere and my hair is horrible at the moment- could be unrelated but very unusual for me!!

Anyway test day Sunday as AF is due but not holding out a lot of hope. No symptoms of any description- not even the backache that I would usually associate with AF/PMS so who knows?!?! Fingers crossed all!!

MummyTo1TTC2 i have noticed that you have also recently had the mirena taken out. I never get spots and I am now starting to! I was told it could be to change in hormones after the coil...and also on my last pregnancy I broke out in spots just before I found out. So it may be totally irrelevant to you or you could be the same. Don't rule it out yet!

I hope you don't mind me tagging on this thread. I am new to this site.

So...

I am 25 and I had the mirena coil out on 27th April 2016. Although it seems like a life time ago! This is the first time I've 'tried' to conceive.
I bled on 28th for 4 days..progressing each day and very very strong cramps in my lower stomach and back. I never had a period whilst on the mirena...a few days random spotting here and there but never a full period. Oh my did I forget how horrid period pains are!!

Anyway last week I did 2 opk and both negative..I then did my next one on Wednesday AM and it was very strong positive. We DTD Sunday morning and night and Monday night but not Tuesday so I hope I havnt missed the chance for this month! I did another opk Thursday am and almost, although I think slightly less dark lines. Another opk Thursday pm and half as prominent lines. Another this am and nothing. So looks like the O has been and gone.

Today and yesterday I have strong PMS type pains in my lower abdomen and back...I've read that this can be due to conception but I know it's literally only been 3 days! My left breast is tingly and slightly tender, although they do go like this sometimes throughout the month...I'm just not sure when as I've never monitored anything before.

Anyway I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm going to test next Sunday 22nd. I am thinking that AF is due on 26th.
I am also worried as I have read that miscarriage is more common straight after mirena!

This has been such a stressful 2 weeks..it's all I ever think about and it's nice to see other people's stories!

Hi there, here's my little story of TTC#1 for a baby#1
OV - on CD16 (usually CD13)
6dpo - vomiting and diarrhoea as soon as I woke up. Never experienced anything like it before! When reading on Internet, it might be a sign of implantation on 5dpo. Experienced no blood spotting.
Between 7dpo-13dpo - some days was feeling nauseous in the morning snd sometimes no symptoms at all. And no PMS or AF symptoms leading to AF week.
Was expecting AF on CD29 - nothing.
Cd30 - still no signs of AF or any other symptoms
CD31 (15dpo) - took first PG test - BFN. Did 3 times that morning and still negative. And yet no signs of AF. Boobs started hurting very late at night. And noticed some pink discharge inside. Nothing on the panties.
Today CD32 - (16dpo) - took another PG test this morning - another BFN. Boobs are very sore. But no discharge inside.
I've never been that late and just dont know what to think about it all. Apart from waiting, I guess.
Is anybody experiencing the same? And has anybody been in the same boat before? And could advise?
