Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Just had my first fertility acupuncture, £85 and 3 hours later and lighter I've finally emerged, smelling of roses 😉 This price includes a consultation and first treatment. We talked a lot about fertility, ovulation, fertility window, foods, body chemicals, pregnancy etc really enjoyed the chat! She'll send me a list of food to incorporate into my diet. Will let you know. My 2nd appointment is in 2 weeks.
I'm currently on CD10, DTD on CD5, 7 and 9. She advised to DTD every other day from end of your period all the way through to CD21. Providing I'm usually 28-29 CDs. Which I am. Already changes in CM. "Science" continues till CD21 😉

I got a few like that, lighter, darker, always fluctuating etc but never fully positive, at the beginning of my cycle, but by day 13 there was a massive difference. There was a clear positive, and then each day the test line gradually faded. That's how I knew I was ovulating on that day as the difference was huge. So I wouldn't say that you have ovulated yet. No.
Still no AF for me yet. Tested this morning though and BFN. Due on Thursday!

I'm pretty sure i missed FW unless i OV'd really late but still holding out hope BFN today but AF not due til Thu and wasnt an early test (don't know why i do it to myself!)

Pretty sure AF is on the way though. Had the typical sore bbs for 4 days which now arent sore anymore.

You are not supposed to break digital tests open as they have the same number of lines whatever the outcome.

Thanks Uni and Frayed. I'll try and hold off till Thursday. I feel like I'm imagining symptoms and trying not to get my hopes up. Easier said than done.

Novinosincebambino I am due AF on 27th I believe and I caved in this morning and tested...of course BFN!
Your hormones which are picked up on a test slowly start to increase 10-12 days after ovulation, rising to 5mlu around this time (usually) and this amount would be spotted on a blood test. Although early home pregnancy tests are usually 10mlu hence it wouldn't show so soon as this amount is usually visible from 13-14 dpo (and sometimes even longer).
I'd hang in there if I was u as there is little chance it would show although if your like me and I'm just so impatient that either way it just helps me to test (& I have bought a whole load of tests so not expensive) then it won't do any harm.

Novino I got a BFP on day 23 of my cycle but my cycle is often as short as 23 days with ovulation as early as day 9, I would not test so early if you have a normal length cycle.

I am new on here and hope I will be welcome on your thread and can seek some advice from you all. First of all, good luck to each and every one of you.
I am going slightly mad here I think and wonder if anyone can advise me. I have a lot of vague symptoms that could be pregnancy or not, AF should have come two days ago (though my cycle length varies so I can't be sure). I have had weird spotting, which I never have. I also have an unmistakably off feeling that really reminds me of early pregnancy (I have one other DC). I went out to Tesco and got a two pack of digital tests (they didn't have the other ones). Its one where it comes with two sticks you pee on that are inserted into the digital reader that says pregnant or not pregnant. The result from the digital reader was not pregnant but when I took the stick out to throw it away, there was a definite but very faint second line. Now I am really freaking out and don't know what to think. I plan on testing again in the morning but don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight with this uncertainty. Has anyone else had this with this type of test? The suspense is killing me!

I think I'm due AF on the 26th but desperate to test. Is this pointless? Anyone got anything other than a BFN when they tested really early?

Hi ladies can I join? TTC no 3 in currently 7dpo due AF on or around the 27th having so many symptoms I think I'm driving myself nutty. The joys of the TWW 😪

Mummy I know exactly how you feel. My app has been spot on with ovulation the last 2 pregnancies but, if I'm pregnant this time, that puts ovulation around the 4th to 9th not the 13/14th it should have been. I'm in total limbo. Just keep testing and best of luck X

Oops! Wingingit...Thought it was a strange thing to have to do!haha. So dumb at times!
But anyway...I tested straight after and didn't wait at all and mine has still shown clearly when I am and when I'm not ovulating

I only use ovia, but I'm new to this app business!

unimamma Not the test sticks the urine! Ie. pee in cup, wait 20 mins for it to reach room temperature, then test.

I bought mine from amazon (white and green packet). I stored them in the cupboard in the bathroom and literally used it as soon as I got it out of the cupboard.
Unless it's been in a hot or cold area surely it should already be at room temperature. Mine seemed to work fine anyway.

Thinking of you all. I'm going to start opking for the first time this month as AF nearly over. I bought some from amazon and they say the sample should be at room temperature before testing. ..that's a bit of a faff and not the quick 'pee and dip' i was expecting -is that essential do you think?

I'm still waiting on a clear positive. Tested again this morning and got a slightly darker but still faint line. Hoping that maybe I ovulated later than I thought and I'm just very early to test. Still no signs of AF!! you watch her turn up this afternoon now

Hi Mummy, I'm not sure actually... Thought AF had come but it was very light and disappeared completely after 3 days. Now wondering if it was implantation bleeding. Trying not to get my hopes up but will test after the weekend.

I'm still hanging in there. One week today until I believe AF is due. I fly to Alcudia on Monday though so I think I'm going to test the day before just in case. Plus I'm going to take some tests with me. I hate waiting!
