I survived my spa/Conference, a fair few of my colleagues know now, even though I didn't look too pregnant in my bathing suit (just a bit fat!)Though I am now getting questions like "how do you feel about being a mum soon?" when actually I haven't thought further than next week

I've decided I'm not going to test until Saturday. I will be 11 dpo and so tests should be clear by then. Sick of squinting at tests and when I thought about it, assuming I get a BFP then I'm going to want to test daily like last cycle to see if the lines progress and I can't afford to keep doing that unless I start later. Testing 11/12/13/14/15/16 dpo is over £20 as it is and that's from Amazon, can't get cheaper at the moment

So happy for you geek and also good news about new boss! I meant to ask you what is the situation with mrgeeks kids, I really hope all is good, I remember you were so brave getting in touch. I'm sure they'll be really excited for you :)

All perfect at this morning's scan, but I'm afraid you'll need to wait until this evening for a photo as work's highly secure system simply cannot cope with allowing me to do that! Still measuring a day ahead, loads of growth since Saturday (1.67cm has now become 2.22 cm!) and heartrate is still high and strong. Not so froglike today, in fact we're thinking it's a boy because he was just chilling out on his back at the bottom of the sac with no intention of doing anything more energetic than giving a tiny wriggle. To be fair though that's kind of all I feel like doing too

I got a new manager on Tuesday, I've worked with her before and she's brill. I told her my news today, it was lovely to have a chance to be happy about it for once.

It's at 10 am so not long to wait. Eek!

All ok here. I was sulking yesterday as I felt better than I had for a couple of days so was convinced it had all gone wrong. But I'm feeling a bit rough again now oh well scan on Sat will tell us one way or the other. I've had no bleeding since implantation so that must be a good sign.

keep I had height, weight, bloods and pee done, and got my bounty pack, but it was mostly the mw going through the paperwork she'd need to do at my next appt. She needs to come to my home to do the booking in, she said. But I've got my dentist and prescription exemption form now, and all the emergency numbers in case I need them. Oh, and of course I didn't cancel today's scan MrG and I are very much looking forward to seeing our little frog again.

I'm torn between testing on Friday when I should be 10-10.5 dpo which is Friday 13th or waiting until the Saturday. Fingers are itching to test tomorrow but it would probably be a waste of a test and I don't have an endless supply of tests.

Yay geek and imps!! geek was it not the full booking appt in the end,xwill you have another? Are you still having that scan tomorrow or did you cancel?

How odd, mine used manual too. Mine was pretty low last time, I think 90/60, she just told me to drink more fluid

Yay for a nice b-b hb imps!!! My bp was done manually today too, and came out quite a bit higher than all of the automatic machine readings I've ever had - they struggle to get me over 100, but today's reading was 110 over something. Maybe mws prefer the added accuracy of a manual reading?

During one of my antenatal appointments there was a trainee Dr in the appointment and my MW explained to him that they always do BP manually for pregnant women but didn't explain why
