loopy all the hand holding you need here, my lovely. It's less than a week to your scan, which in ttc terms is approximately 80 lifetimes. Just take it moment by moment, and allow yourself those panics but remember there really and truly is nothing you can do to jinx this, no matter how much your brain tells you otherwise.

imps I've been using the grey Morrisons home delivery carriers because of the lack of holes and nice opacity. My bin liners are almost see-through and I couldn't bear to risk seeing the vom! As of today, however, I am the proud owner of 25 genuine honest to goodness airline quality sick bags Grin I've got three folded up in my handbag, a few stashed in my car door and I'll leave a few at work. Not only is it nice to feel 'properly' pregnant, but the sickness leaves me feeling fine in between bouts, which is a huge improvement on the all day nausea I'd been having.

keep Is it your 20 week scan? Gosh that's come round so quickly! Can't wait to see your scan pic! Good luck with your back consultant, I hope all goes well with both appointments. My bloat seems to mostly be water now, not so much farting going on any more, but I have also put on 2.5lb with the steroids/intralipids, so some of it it probably fat too.

Morning belle!

My 9-10 week NHS reassurance scan is this morning, 9am. Got a nice heartbeat on the doppler again last night, so reasonably confident the scan will be ok. If it is, I'll be telling my direct reports at work at this afternoon's team meeting - eek Shock

BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/05/2016 06:56

keep hope mrK gets to come to the scan and Little kip feels better this morning. Brooking for a good scan even if you end up going alone.

loopy you will get there. Will you carry on poas until Thursday, maybe ic to see the line getting darker?

I've got a 20% code for M & S for this weekend if anyone wants one. i'm hoping to get one in afew months time so I can buy some vests and babygrows for the early Days - but its a bit early for that yet!

keepitgoing · 20/05/2016 06:38

And imps you are well posh with your brabanta bin bags. Are you OK now? Sorry you've both been so sick

keepitgoing · 20/05/2016 06:37

loopy you will be at that scan. As you say the last few haven't lasted even this far. Really brooking for you

Hi belle! Hope you are OK

beedle geek what great bumps. Geek is it farts or water??... Flip this is so exciting

I love that we will all have matching tops, I also have pale blue one from last time

Scan day today, 1050 but then have to see anaesthetist due to prevyback issues so might be there a while. Really hoping dh can come but sods law kip was a bit unwell last night so will have to see if we feel too bad to dump her at nursery... Eek

Imps9 · 19/05/2016 22:12

How are things with you Belle?

Hi all I hope you all ok sorry ive not been on much x

Imps9 · 19/05/2016 21:02

Oooh Loops I am the Queen of thinking that I'll jinx things but it hasn't happened so far! You will be at the scan next week, because we all say so.

What's your vom bag of choice Geek? I had small Brabantia bin liners on me at all times - perfect for the purpose; small but roomy enough to aim into; no holes (vital); and draw string closure. Perfect. It's a bit yucky being sick but isn't it brilliant to finally experience pregnancy??

I love all the bump pics. My bloat was just like yours Geek Grin

Dammit I meant to say something but have forgotten what it was now.

You all have nice bumps, I was like a whale with my boys. I'm somewhere around 5'1" and so they don't have room to grow upwards on me so they just go outwards.

Am bricking it completely now. Have a scan booked for next Thursday when I would be 5+2. Feels a bit of a farce considering that the last time I made it that far was Jan 2015. I've had 6 losses since then that didn't get that far. But I will be 4+3 tomorrow and quite a few hadn't even made it to then so maybe just maybe the universe will let us keep this one.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 19:08

Oh I changed too! I recommend open cardigans over the loose tops, so you don't get the view from the side.

ControlGeek · 19/05/2016 18:46

Hahaha I love that theory beedle!!! Work never see me in tight tops, I'm wearing the loosest, most floaty clothes I can find these days. I changed for the pics so you could see my shape. I am very much not impressed with picture number 2, I really must work on my posture :(

ControlGeek · 19/05/2016 18:43

holy crap on a cracker, work don't ever see the sucked in version, just this

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 18:32

Unless you're an alien with 2 hearts :o

Fab picture, I managed to avoid wearing tight tops for quite a while (unless I had a cardigan over the top), but even now lots of people know, no-one who doesn't has actually asked me!

My jojo top has been dispatched already!

ControlGeek · 19/05/2016 18:09

Yay for fab bumpie beedle!!!

It's actually worse than a fear of aliens - I was worried in case I had picked up two alternating pulses from my own veins/arteries that just sounded like a single double-fast heartbeat... then I realised hang on, I've only got one heart so all my pulses should be at the same time... yes, this from the girl who got an A in A-Level Biology Sad

Bloaty attached - I've sucked in as much as I can but have to admit I don't tend to bother at work, which is possibly why I had someone guess my news correctly today. She was very tactful about it though :)

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 16:58

Finally a bumpy from me, I've jyst found that I can crop photos on my phone so I don't need to worry about my face being visible - doh

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 14:10

geek :o are you worried you may have a little Alien onboard as well as geekling that no-one has noticed on the scans? I don't Think you would have been rude to hand them your bag of vomit :o

ControlGeek · 19/05/2016 13:51

Lovely line again loopy, I'd say that's a lot clearer. I found this time round the FRERs took their time compared to previous cycles so they've definitely changed at some point. ICs take forever to change.

Keep that's such a pretty top, and your bump looks so neat!

Oh Imps you're really popping out now! I wouldn't worry about not putting any weight on, you've been so sick and barry-baxter will be making sure his nutritional needs are put first.

I've bought some mat tops and dresses off ebay to try and hide my bloat. Even with a floaty dress I'm not sure it's working though Confused If I get time tonight I'll try and post a bloaty.

Want to hear how my paranoia is plumbing new depths? After getting a lovely heartbeat on the doppler last night, I panicked wondering if there was anything else in my body, about an inch above my down-south hairline, that could sound like a heartbeat and give a reading of 160-170bpm. Honestly, even I have to wonder about myself sometimes.

Oh, and when binmen laugh at you because you've got your head in a plastic bag, would it have been really rude to have wound my window down and given them the bag when I'd finished? Grin

cartoontrickster · 19/05/2016 13:25

Agree with pasta. Weight gain or not is so different for everyone. Bumps come in all shapes and sizes. My mum only gained like half a stone with me where as I gained like 3 with N!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 13:00

excellent PMA trix I bought some maternity pj trousers at about 6 weeks as I was ordering some more bras from M&S and the pyjamas were only something like £4.50 in the sale!

loopy getting darker is good, even if its not as dark as you would like it to be.

keep I don't Think there are actually any cases of zika in Spain yet, just that it could be possible in parts of Europe that have the right type of mosquito I Think we'll stay in Sweden/England this summer though

Pastamancer · 19/05/2016 12:29

Don't worry about weight gain. I lose weight while pregnant and the midwives have never been concerned about it

keepitgoing · 19/05/2016 12:23

Good on you trix!! That's the brooking attitude

Also fretting over our upcoming trip to Spain, and zika. Wwyd...? Ffs I just wanna relax!

Not used asks beedle but my guess is they only have tall models so have to use them for everything!

cartoontrickster · 19/05/2016 12:10

loopy I'm not sure how much difference there 'should' be from one day to the next so I would 've thought that a little darker is excellent news! I really hope this works out for you.
beedle not sure on the asos stuff. I think order a load to try at home is your best bet.
I liked my h&m over bump jeans but wore mostly dresses, my skin became so itchy and sensitive especially my legs so for a while I could nt bear to have anything on them.
I've decided that ordering a maternity top or not isn't going to have any effect on whether or not this bean makes it. I'm doing doing all I can but essentially it's out of my hands . So I'm getting one! After after all I'm diffed and plan to stay that way for the rest of the year at least Wink

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 19/05/2016 11:56

(And that should say to Keep too as it was actually you who asked re today's testing lol)

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 19/05/2016 11:50

Here is today's line imps. Little wider and tiny bit darker than yesterday's, but not a massive difference still. Not done a cheapie today, thought would give it a couple of days then use one again (if it's not all over by then)

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2016 10:25

I ordered a top in grape, and have sent it to my parents address!

Does anyone know if Asos mat jeans are any good? I'm a bit worried they will be ridiculously long, as they show them on a model that is 5ft10, but it seems to be the same model (in the same outfit!) modelling the Long version. So I'm not sure, I have free returns so its not a disaster if I have to send them back. I've got a 10% off that I need to use this evening so I might just order a load of stuff and see what I like!

Will also try again with a bump shot this evening :o

cartoontrickster · 19/05/2016 10:05

Those lines are looking good loopy Brookings hard for you. Remember you will not have jinxed anything. You are doing all you can.
Love those tops keep would it be completely mad for me to order one when I'm only 7wks?? Obviously not to wear yet but seems a shame to miss a bargain!
Lovely bumps imps and keep where's yours beedle?
