geek last time I stopped the progesterone cold turkey at 9+ weeks. This time I tapered it down from 11 weeks, stopped 11+5, and stopped the clexane at 12. That's great of your epu. It'll be easier once you can feel kicks

Yes anaesthetist was fine, said siting an epidural wouldn't be a problem. Obstetrician also said they treat ivf pregnancies as normal which is good as they don't everywhere. Ie once my heart is investigated I can go back to mw care

Happy weekends all!

ControlGeek · 21/05/2016 08:20

Oh, one more intralipid, a week on Tuesday, then I'm done with that side of things too!

ControlGeek · 21/05/2016 08:15

45 minutes, wow! Is all ok with your back consultant too, keep? I've had 5 scans now, I have another private one next Thursday then nothing at all throughout week 11 how the hell will I cope??? then my NHS dating/NT scan at 12w3d. EPU have said I can get rescanned any time I feel the need, up to 16 weeks. I may be making use of that as my paranoia is already kicking in about coming off the meds.

What weeks did you all come off your various meds, keep, beedle and imps? My clinic want me to wean off the pred starting today, but to stop everything else cold turkey at 12 weeks. I'm a bit nervous about that, would it hurt to taper down from 11 weeks do you think? It's hard to believe that I'm actually reaching this point!

keepitgoing · 20/05/2016 21:53

PS how many scans have you had now geek?! Is that it till 12 weeks ;) oh do you have any more intrallipids?

keepitgoing · 20/05/2016 21:51

Yes we did geek and he told us to look away as he was doing the femur measurement as it might be... Obvious! It was great, took 45 mins, so detailed

I love your pic too, that's a proper baby you have in there, my love!!

ControlGeek · 20/05/2016 19:48

Cross-post OMG keep that's an AWESOME scan :) pants for the wait, but well done you for getting it checked out. Hearts are too important not to. Awww look at that lovely scan again! Did you have to tell them not to say anything about the gender?

ControlGeek · 20/05/2016 19:45

loopy that's terrifying! I'm glad all is good with both of your dcs, the wrist rein sounds like a good way to go until dc2 can get himself back under control. I'm sorry your line today wasn't more conclusive, and there always seems to have to be some kind of faff when you go to get a prescription these days, I think the pharmacies are struggling just as much as the NHS.

Today's scan pic of the little t-rex attached for everyone's amusement Grin

We finally left after 5.5 hours! The long wait was to see the Dr about my funny heart, am going to have a 24hr ECG in the next two weeks and see what it shows. The main thing was the scan was totally awesome you can see sooo much detail. We looked away at that point so don't know the sex

loopy they are terrifying... Sorry you had a tough day but glad the line looks good

Pic to follow

Moron is one word for him. He is so bloody intelligent and yet when he decides to play up he will systematically do every single thing that he knows he shouldn't do. Then I get home and see all over my Facebook that a mother that several of my friends know was killed on her school run this morning when her daughter also ran into the road. From now on I'm going back to using a wrist rein on him until he stops dicking around. He knows full well that the road by school is busy and dangerous and that he should not move an inch unless he is holding my hand, it's that he chooses to do it on purpose in spite of me having it drummed into him. He will be 4 in September and I thought we were getting somewhere with him but clearly not!

Imps9 · 20/05/2016 18:24

Arrrgg Loops my friend's son did that running-into-road thing the other week. Children are such morons sometimes.

Glad you got the progesterone and v pleased the line is just as dark!

Hey all, sorry had a crappy day here, ds2 been a pain in the backside all day, started with him trying to run in the road outside school this morning when I took my eyes of him for literally 2 seconds to pass something from the car to ds1, luckily I grabbed his hood in time to pull him back, and he has played up for the entire day, another highlight being he put an entire toilet roll into a toilet here.

So anyhow, I did a test and the line hasn't altered from yesterday's one.

Picked up my next prescription of metformin and had ordered more progesterone but they had no knowledge of this despite a lengthy conversation of what dose I needed and giving them the date the email from prof B was sent to them...thankfully the doctor looked at the email there and then and they happened to have some in stock but so stressed by it all and ds2 played up all the time we were stuck there waiting!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/05/2016 13:57

Are you waiting for the second appointment? I hope you bought some snacks with you and a book, pillow and sleeping bag

keepitgoing · 20/05/2016 13:54

Imps9 · 20/05/2016 13:06

V quick as in middle of work 'blocked and monitored' period - geekling looks like a t-rex, waving its tiny little arm buds and legs around and wriggling about all over the place :) he's measuring in at 10w3d - 4 days ahead of my actual dates, which I will happily live with!

Good luck for yours keep, hope kip is ok and mrK can make it.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/05/2016 07:45

imps I've messaged you. I found this but its a bit early for me to be buying cute baby hats yet - and I need to buy lots of stuff to justify to myself the delivery charge!

If anyone else wants one that's fine, its not an individual code.

and geek a scan for you today too, good luck. Hopefully geekling will be moving its arms and legs and looking a bit more baby like. And a proper announcement, I still haven't done that - most of the people I work with are completely unaware or too polite to question if I'm just getting fat

Imps9 · 20/05/2016 07:23

Oh and Beedles - yes please to M&S code!

Gosh 9-10 weeks already Geek Shock Brooking hard for you. Good call with the proper sick bags!

And Keep sooooooo many Brooking vibes to you too - not just that the scan goes well but that DH gets to go too. Re: Brabantia, we splashed out when we had our bathroom done 2 years ago. Nothing like treating yourself to a posh bin!

Loops what is your line like this morning? Are your symptoms there?

I forgot who asked about sickness - mine tailed off from 13 or 14 weeks and had stopped completely last week, although was sick y'day morning and last night. I was very tired y'day too so I think that either the tiredness contributed to the sickness or B-B is having a growth spurt which caused them both (I've made that theory up, but I rather like it).
