Yes, well done on the weight loss Loops - incredible. Sorry you're feeling down. It's a crappy feeling.

Just had a violent dry-heaving session but managed not to wee myself - yesssssssss! I have a feeling that today is going to be a good day.

22lbs is Amazing loopy well done. Sorry you're feeling negative, I hope that the extra weight loss will make the difference. Do you Think you will try the clomid again?

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 31/05/2016 07:44

I'm doing ok. Still had remnants of bleeding yesterday, hoping that it's finished with now. Not a clue when I might ovulate, guess as ov has been moving later and later since I stopped the clomid, this month might be back to my old normal length of 40-44 days so ov would be around cd26-30.

Am feeling negative about it all. Both ds's are now frequently asking about when we will have a baby again and both want a sister. Yet I have no faith that we will have a baby of any variety.

Meanwhile I've now lost 22 lb so only 6lb to lose until I'm the weight I was when I conceived the boys (daft bit of my brain wondering if my body won't work until I'm at that weight). And then if I can lose another 15lb I'd have a respectable BMI that would be the right side of 30. But I'd rather be a pregnant whale first before I lose those 15lbs!

keepitgoing · 31/05/2016 07:11

That's a great bump beedle well done!

Aah pasta I don't have all that long to get huge. You do forget quite how big they get...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2016 06:50

Imps9 · 31/05/2016 06:45

I hope you walk around at work with your dress tucked into your pants Beedles Grin

Yes Loops where are you with this cycle? Is ov imminent or is there still a while to go?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 31/05/2016 06:32

pasta now that is a proper bump, quite scary that we'll be looking like that in Sept/Oct

Lovely bumps all round really

Good luck with the scan trix

I was thinking imps must have a scan this week as mine is next week - I've just realised I was wrong - its 2 weeks until my scan!

loopy how are things with you?

Bumpie from me attached - my dress is tucked into my pants otherwise you wouldn't be able to see that I have a bump!

Ha ha great photo Trix! What a magnificent bump :) I keep forgetting how much bigger I'm going to get assuming that all goes well at the scan next week. Which it will Imps so stop panicking. I already feel massive and I'm not even halfway yet! Much bump-based fun and discomfort still to be had :)

Great bumpie Trix. Deffo not a flabbie.

And your bump has really popped out since your last bumpie Keep. Blimey, still can't believe that so many of us have struck it lucky so far this year. Long may the Brookers' luck continue.

cartoontrickster · 30/05/2016 18:18

Imps I'm finding my pit and leg hair is growing quicker now! Rather annoying.
No bumpie from me yet, nothing to see really just a roly poly belly haha! I'm constantly starving or munching my way through the nausea Blush I dread to think what I've gained!
I have a scan and drip tomorrow.
Congratulations countess

Imps9 · 30/05/2016 17:41

Oh and the above photo is with bloat sucked in Grin

OP posts:
Imps9 · 30/05/2016 17:40

Oh and please ignore any armpit stubble you can see in the photo - didn't take my razor away with me and forgot to buy one when I was out there. I'm such an attractive lady.

Imps9 · 30/05/2016 17:39

Here's mine - still much bigger than I had expected at just shy of 19 weeks (thank god I decided not to keep it quiet at work until my 20 week scan!). Some of it will be flab as I'm exercising less but not eating any less. Haven't weighed myself for a while though - will do that tomorrow morning I think.

OP posts:
Imps9 · 30/05/2016 17:37

Yes it was completely ace Beedle! Lots of culture, food, walking and laughing with friends - not sure what else you could need!

This deffo calls for a bumpie update Keep and the rest of you. Trix have we had one from you yet?

Did you have a nice weekend away imps? No bank holiday here today, but I do have next monday instead.

Congratulations countess, the Pictures on FB of Ds2 with his siblings were Lovely - DS1 looked very proud :o

Woohoo keep you must be looking properly pregnant now, my bump is still fairly hidden if I'm not wearing something skintight and even then I could just be fat!I'm going to wear my new JoJo dress to work tomorrow so we'll see if anyone notices!

I really need some shorts - I can't spend the whole summer borrowing mrB's sports shorts!

Imps9 · 30/05/2016 08:21

Well done Countess!! Doesn't sound like your textbook sneeze birth but glad you are both healthy and doing well :) Congratulations to the whole Countess family Flowers

Hope everyone's having a top bank holiday weekend. Sorry if it's not a bank holiday for you today Beedles...

Ooh wow wonderful countess; congratulations!!

geek that sounds fine, small measurements make a big difference. Even most low placentas at 20 weeks move. So pleased for you. Can't be long till your official 12 week scan! Will you be telling people after that? Love the pic, that's a proper baby in there, hey!

I had the first person who didn't know ask me when the baby is due. Big milestone! :)

CountessOfStrathearn · 28/05/2016 12:15

So actual news from me for those of you not on FB.

DS2 was born on Wednesday by emergency section after turning transverse during labour! It was all a bit of a rush in the end but we are both fine (I'm in a bit of pain but managing a lot more) and he is a delight!

CountessOfStrathearn · 28/05/2016 12:13

Growth scans are actually pretty accurate, especially in the early stages around +/- 1 week, which sounds fine for you, geek. It is in the later stages/third trimester that the difference can be a bit more marked, so an individual result is often not completely helpful but the trend is important over repeated scans if there is concern.

As for gestational diabetes, it is all related the hormones from the placenta with it only really showing from 24-28 weeks in the blood tests. If it is picked up then, then treating it (with diet/metformin/insulin as appropriate) will really, really help.

Anyway, enough medical chat from me...

Pastamancer · 27/05/2016 19:53

Growth scans are notoriously inaccurate so try not to worry too much about it.
