Hips/back v sore after having to lug exhausted kip through airport. We were 8+ hours delayed and got home at 6am. Cancelling my days work right now...

So jealous of all of these holidays - when is yours imps? MrG is in a very poor way just now so I have cancelled the annual leave I'd booked for this week - I am refusing to use any more leave for medical purposes or looking after people. I haven't had a holiday that was 'just' a holiday since October 2014!

I am now officially in my second trimester :) 14w3d. Very few days of sickness now, but the evening nausea still means MrG is banished to the kitchen with the door closed for his tea while I scoff my cornflakes. Lots of rlp and wind pain, no baby movement yet and I don't think I'll feel it for a while. I realised I have no sensation in the lower half of my belly following my various operations, so I'm unlikely to feel anything short of the most violent kicks down there. Definitely bumpie time again, I'll try and take one tonight.

How's everybody else doing? Beedle are your flutters going well?

imps It is very organised when i compare it to your experience! I've managed to get mainly 8:30 appointments so I can have a Little lay-in and go straight there on my way to work! Apart from the ones right at the end once I'll be on maternity leave, they're a bit later in the morning!

I finally got to hear the heartbeat today :o The mw has also booked all my appointments with her up until I'm 40+3 and said its perfectly OK to fly at the moment but I need to wear support socks! She also said that they don't give preggos the whooping cough vaccine here (I asked) but I had it as a Child (the illness not the vaccine) so hopefully I still have antibodies to pass on to the baby

Did an OPK yesterday about 5.30pm and it was a definite positive, and DH managed to DTD last night so we are in with a chance for this month. Those are words I didn't expect to be saying this time yesterday!

Imps, I already have way too much mucus as it is, you have me worried about the evening primrose now lol!

Revision in a nutshell- it would appear the government have altered pretty much everything to do with pension rules in the last 3 years bar for changing annuities, I have so much to get up to date on 😡

Loopy I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, but that is such a brilliant result, I'm so pleased it was nothing more sinister - and that you've got the interview all sorted! Good luck with your legislation revision too.

Oh and interview is next Wednesday, and I need to learn the last 3 years of legislation changes by then and lter a pair of trousers that need about 6 inches chopping off the length!

Thank fuck for that, everything was clear on mammogram and the scan. He said that I have a lot of breast tissue which extends into my armpits, and he said it's a gift from RMC. All caused by hormones, he said pregnancies/miscarriage affect hormones, pcos affects oestrogen, as does clomid which I took in Jan and Feb, and weight loss can affect hormones too. He said to take 6x evening primrose a day to balance things out but other than that, all is good. So sorry to have been thinking the worst but I really thought that was it, end of ttc and launching into a load of treatment. But as it is, everything is fine, my only worry now is whether I have ovulated or not as due any day and haven't DTD at all because of worrying about cancer, and haven't really kept track of when ewcm started, other than knowing it's been there this week, so just hoping we haven't missed the boat if we do it tonight!

Hope all went well today loopy and that you are doing ok. You really don't deserve all this shittyness.
geek yes I think we are dead on the dates I was expecting . I think I'd forgotten how much we would be able to see and that the bean would be moving around. Dh took a video of the scan it's lovely to be able to watch it back. We have some of N too.
How is Mr G? sounds very nasty, poor thing.
Sorry you feel railroaded re the birth. You must do what you feel is right. Plenty of time to decide on it and persuade the right people anyway.

Poor mrgeek, hope he gets well soon. Good plan for the 16w scan, 12 weeks to 19 weeks was far too long without checking the little one was OK. It probably does need a name now!

He's got lots of diabetes complications, the scariest is his legs occasionally swell up like balloons and spontaneously ulcerate. He's got no skin between his left knee and ankle at the moment, with no sign of it going down. It took a three month spell off work and time in hospital to sort it out when this happened last year.

I'll be booking a private scan for around 16 weeks ish to hopefully spot the meat & two veg/lack of
