We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.

The ergo was so comfy keep. I loved it. Alexander fell asleep in it a lot and I'd just lean forward over our bed and unclip it and leave him and the ergo on the bed until whenever he woke up. Imps re Moses baskets, I found them to be a waste of money. DH is about 6'2" and by 10 weeks Ds1 was too big for the Moses basket and wasn't sleeping well as he kept hitting the sides. We then bought a glider crib from mothercare which he was ok in until 5 months. With ds2 we didn't use the Moses basket in our room, just went straight to using the glider, both of them liked the movement of it. But even so ds2 was even bigger and stronger than ds1 so by 4 months we had to move him to a normal cot as he'd almost tipped the glider over a couple of times!

imps can't you just use tgenirmal cot in your room from the start, or is there no space? I think I will try tethering the cot bed to mine this time to make a cosleeper. Settling newborns in Moses baskets away from you seems to be v difficult for most babies, fair enough, they've just been born!

Ah loopy.. There are so many mysteries in all this. I still find it really frustrating I don't know WHY I can't conceive alone. You must feel the same. Though yours is quite a different experience to most of us, I think we probably understand better than most. Plus you have your two boys, whatever happens

For one baby, I found having a vox mode was essential. Instead of you hearing every single snuffle or grunt or snore, the noise only makes a sound through the monitor if the noise hits a certain level. We originally bought a cheap sound only monitor and I just couldn't switch off from the noise and sleep, so we bought the video one with vox and sleep was much better! We would often go out into the garden with the monitor when they were having naps, and we could check they were ok without having to be in the house.

I bought mine from one of their appointed sellers, an American woman who was living near Peterborough, I think it was possibly in Eye. She was really helpful and demonstrated it and I think it was about £80 from memory.

We have a video monitor and it is worth every penny, saves going into their rooms and disturbing them, and even now they are getting older we wouldn't be without it, we replaced it a few months ago when our old one broke. Ds2 regulate falls out of bed and ds1 is often sick in the night or needs tucking back in so it's handy to see on the monitor what is happening behind closed doors. And if they get out of bed to tell them to get back in bed via the monitor and to see in the morning if they are awake or not as when ds2 wakes he will happily lie there quietly for ages, but if he does that his nappy ends up leaking as he will do a morning wee, whereas if we go in just after he wakes, we can avoid the leak and having to wash his bedding!!

Keep sadly you have just described how my life was. We decided to have a baby and thought an autumn baby would give it a head start at school and got pregnant that cycle. We then decided when my period returned the following November that as ds1 was born in November, to wait until the December to ttc so that ds2 wouldn't be born until September at the earliest as we didn't want an August baby. We got pregnant first time again and so he was indeed a September baby. It just all was so simple. Then we hit the problems with number 3. 10 losses down and I wouldn't care when it was born now..

I have an Ergo, it's great for doing the school run as it is much easier to carry DD2 than faff around with the buggy.

We got a monitor for DD1 but don't use it. Even though I'm partially deaf I have had no problem hearing the girls crying

It is a different world. Imagine being able to choose when your baby would be born, or know that you can have one/another one. It still gets me.

imps that sounds like most of it! Maybe a sling. But you have the essentials then can just get other stuff after birth. Ooh somewhere for them to sleep downstairs in the day, could be travel cot though, or pram

As for me, have had some pressure and sensations yesterday so fingers crossed. Only 5dpo so won't be testing for ages! Have decided either my lining is buggered and nothing will ever properly implant, or it's just a numbers game and if I throw enough fertilised eggs at my uterus one of them will eventually be a good one!

I asked my GP to refer me to Coventry to see if they can either include me for any of the Tommys research or to see if there is anything else they can do for me, and the appointment came through today and it's for the 15th July so just hope my mom will mind DS2.

I had an interview yesterday and got to wait until Friday to find out, but he said the next step would be an assessment day, just hope if I get to that stage that it doesn't happen on the 15th!

Good buggy choices Imps. We have a baby jogger city select, which is just as good now as when we first bought it in 2010 and other than being a tad heavy to lift up and over into my old Focus boot (not an issue in our people carrier though) I can't fault it at all and have never regretted buying it.

Sounds like you need to go on a shopping spree imps. Nappies, muslins, wipes, sleeping bags for starters lol

Lovely bump imps! You're a great shape. Exciting to have all the stuff. What buggies are you thinking of? We had the bugaboo bee for kip but it broke on a plane, also need to give it back to my sister who has recently instadiffed for the third time (...) Think I'll just get whatever 2nd hand one I can find on eBay locally, I just want it with a carrycot this time, and also to parent face. Kip was in our McLaren by 6m, so it prob won't be for long.

My task for the weekend is sorting through loads of donated baby clothes, and splitting some for my brother. Baby clothes are so teeny!!

Never been to one imps are they good? I was doing pretty well until the weekend and doing plenty of exercise. Hopefully it will get better again. Last time the nhs did refer to a phsio but the appt didn't come through till after I'd given birth. Am seeing mw on Friday so will see

Don't know about the final stretch, there is hopefully a long way to go and the last bit it physically hardest. My back is really suffering since contorted sleeping round kip on an airport. Hard to know if I should do nothing or keep it moving
