Thanks guys AF arrived properly finally last night, after horrendous cramping all day! At least now I know I can take some ibuprofen! And pass me the wine!!
Disappointed but g

Cookie22 · 04/07/2016 20:48

Aww FX Purple! I know how hard it is to be in limbo and not knowing what's going on! Looks like there's a few of us who are testing buddies! Let's have another batch of Bfps to help pad out the resident preggo list Grin xx

Cookie22 · 04/07/2016 20:45

Ooh hopefully that's a positive sign for you Mishy! I think I'm going to wait until Sunday and use the only FRER I've got in the house. I've wasted too many over the past few months and AF has arrived the same day! If I make it to Sunday it'll be a miracle! Xx

Purpleviola14 · 04/07/2016 20:42

Hi Cookie, how are you?
Thanks Hun, I think I might leave it a few days and try not to think about it. It's so odd as it doesn't seem to line up with my temps, unless I ov without noticing after AF, whatever happens I shud have just ov same as you and Mishy, on Sundayish so if it turns out I'm not then we will all be in tww together. I've had heartburn/sickly feeling on and off and quite a few hot flushes, plus twinges in my pelvis, but hey, I could just be symptom spotting, and it could be ov, who knows. Just trying to keep myself realistic about it.
Your symptoms sound really positive so far lovely, really hope it's the start of something good to come for you.Smile
Xx

MishyBakes · 04/07/2016 19:39

I really hope the achey boobs are a good sign for you cookie! I've been a bit achey under the arms, which is odd as I would normally get sore boobs. Again, hoping this is a good sign. since ovulation I've had crampy, tugging pain. I'm definitely over analysing it though!

I hope you make it to the weekend! When are you planning on testing? I'm going to try and hold out until Friday (11 dpo) but I may cave in and test on Thursday. Good luck!

Cookie22 · 04/07/2016 19:30

Hi everyone, sorry I've been absent the past few days. Glad you enjoyed your holiday Claire & it gave you a wee escape away from all this TTC business.

Purple, poor you chick! It sounds like you've been through the mill and now left in limbo. Are you going to do another FRER tomorrow? Do you have another other symptoms apart from sensitive nipples?

Marmite - good luck with the FRER tomorrow. FX for you lovely.

Mishy, just noticed you've perhaps ov'd the same day as me! I had a positive OPK on Sunday/Monday morning so I believe I ov'd on Monday or Tuesday. My boobs have been extremely painful since Thursday onwards. I know this is far too early as potential implantation may not have happened yet but can't help having a tiny shred of hope (and I never usually have any pain in my boobs!) As of tomorrow I shall be on AF watch as the bugger showed up at 8dpo last month. If I make it to the weekend it will be a miracle! xx

Purpleviola14 · 04/07/2016 15:34

Ah Stockholm sounds lovely. I went to Croatia on my honeymoon and beautiful though it was, the locals were grumps! Its nice to hear a recommendation for somewhere friendly, might have to check it out.

Mishy your app looks clearer than fertility friend. Your temps are looking good mind, fx for you Mrs!

Xx

MishyBakes · 04/07/2016 15:18

Sounds like you had a wonderful time in Stockholm claire, glad you enjoyed yourself!

Purple, thanks lovely, sounds like we could both relax a bit more! I've put a picture of my chart up, I got a positive OPK last Monday. Temps were a bit funny for the first few days, but now are a bit higher. Won't get my hopes up yet. Fx for you Smile

Stockholm was amazing, it was lovely weather so spend most of the time outside. It's such a beautiful city and really laid back and friendly. Had some great food, wine and just generally chilled out which was nice!

Purpleviola14 · 04/07/2016 14:44

Thanks girls, sorry I'm not more positive. It's so hard isn't it. I have ultimate sympathy with anyone who has been trying for a long time. It really takes it out of you.im just really trying not to get my hopes up.

How is your holiday marmite?

Yeah Mishy be a bit easier on yourself, it sounds like you have done everything you can, I think we both need to chill.Smile
If it turns out I'm not pg and just ovulating we have bd loads so I couldn't possibly have done anything more to help.
Your temps sound abit haywire like mine, has your ap picked up ov yet?

Thanks Claire, sorry about AF but glad you had a good time. How was Stockholm? I've always wanted to go.
Xx

marmitetoast1 · 04/07/2016 12:54

Thanks for the support all, makes me feel marginally calmer!!

Plan is to do Frer with fmu tomorrow I think! Although I've had some cramps and a bit more brown spotting this morning so could well be redundant.

Sorry to hear you're feeling confused and fed up purple let's hope we both get some clarity soon!

ClaireSunflower · 04/07/2016 11:49

Sorry you're having a stressful time purple that sounds very confusing! Surely a line on a test is a good sign. Fx for you and try not to worry (easier said than done) and time will tell. Really hope it's a bfp for you.

I'm back after a lovely long and relaxing weekend in Stockholm, albeit with AF. It was nice to be away with dh not thinking about ttc and just spending time together. Feeling a lot more chilled out about it right now and positive for the next cycle.

I'm on cd5 now. AF has been a bit odd this time. Started normally on day one, extremely heavy on day 2, then at the end of day 3 just inexplicably stopped for 24 hours and just started again now! Must be still adjusting after the pill.

MishyBakes · 04/07/2016 11:45

Sorry about all the confusing symptoms and tests purple. It may be a case of just giving it some more time before you have another go with a test? If there is any hcg in your system it could have built up more in a few days time.

Totally with you on the stress and not being able to get it out of my head. My temp is up but only by 0.4-5 degrees, and even then it's a bit inconsistent. I also caved today (7 days po) and did a frer test. Didn't even use FMU because I'm an idiot, and it was a massive bfn. I know it's far too early, I know it's not the right time of day to do it, but I'm so desperate to see a positive test. I need to take some deep breaths and be more sensible. I keep telling myself that I have done everything I can this month, and worrying won't help. It helps stave off the negative thoughts to an extent.
Sorry everyone, needed to let that out a bit.

Purpleviola14 · 04/07/2016 09:23

Oops didn't mean to post yet.
Urgh it's so confusing, sorry for the long winded post girls.
I'm fed up of thinking about it tbh xx

Purpleviola14 · 04/07/2016 09:22

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

Marmite hope you are having a great time and not stressing too much about poas! Fx for you.

I haven't posted in a while as I've just been so confused and abit stressed with it all, but things are no clearer.
According to FF I was meant to ov on sat/Sunday, had all the right symptoms, tons of EWCM, positive OPKs 3 days in a row, lots of the right cramps pains. But my temp has only gone up a little bit, like 0.2, it's stayed up for 3 day a tiny bit higher but I don't really see a thermal shift.
To make matters even more complicated, on Sunday morning I decided to do a pg test, just to check as it's wierd my temps have been a little higher than usual this cycle. I had AF 13-15th June, but I know on rare occasion some people can still be pg and get AF, plus my nips are so sensitive.
Anyway- I was so tired I did an ic mid stream with first morning urine but it didn't really soak anything up, so (sorry if tmi!) so thought, ah wat the hell, and for some stupid reason decided to dip it in the toilet water Blush. It came up with the faintest of lines, then 10 mins later it was an obvious positive.
Holy crap how confusing!
So I did another IC later yesterday BFN, then a frer and I thought I could see the faintest of blue lines.
This morning I did another IC and again there's a very faint blue line there but outside the time frame.
So-could the lines just be evap lines?
Could I have had a chemical pg?

sarahhh1984 · 04/07/2016 09:01

Thanks, Bobo! Haha! The look on their faces would be worth it I think!

Will try to persuade dh to dtd tonight. He's pretty tired after the weekend away though so I may just have to settle for tomorrow. We've said we're just going to dtd every couple of days anyway so hopefully we should be alright! It's still only the first cycle though so we'll see what happens!

BoBo90 · 04/07/2016 08:54

Haha that's great news Sarah and I'm sure your friend wouldn't mind 😉 Imagine telling them in nine months that actually baby was conceived in their dining room!! 😆
I would dtd tonight and tomorrow to be absolutely sure! I know I get pains before I normally get a positive Opk so might be best to keep going a few days longer 😄 Fx for you!! Xx

Fx sparkle and marmite!

I think I ovulated on Saturday. In the evening I began to get cramps on the left side of my pelvis, which lasted until Sunday lunchtime and then just disappeared. Know it's not exact as I'm not testing but it was the same as the ovulation pain I used to get every month before I went on the pill and I've heard some women ovulate a bit early when they first come off the pill?

Couldn't dtd on Saturday as we were staying at a friend's house on a sofa bed in their dining room, which would have been a touch inappropriate! However, we did dtd on the previous Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday as well as last night (tmi, sorry!) so we should have been covered if it was ovulation. Fx something sticks.

Otherwise, I just hope for AF so I can start a normal cycle. But obviously that's Plan B!

BoBo90 · 03/07/2016 15:12

Haha yeh you should have packed twice as many 😄
Don't worry too much about the vino! I read that baby won't be affected by what you eat and drink until at least 6 weeks so enjoy it while you're there 😄

Stress can do that but fx it's for another reason 😉 Xxx

marmitetoast1 · 03/07/2016 14:36

Thanks Bobo, yes I'm not sue where I stand on being able to enjoy the Italian grapes?! Ha.
Yes I still have the Frer stashed! I have the Frer and 1 IC to last me the last week! Never thought I'd need so many preggo tests on holiday!
I might have to do Frer with fmu tomorrow although still tempted to hoard it for a few days longer...
I'm thinking maybe the stress of the last few horrid weeks at work has messed things up and delayed AF arrival Confused

BoBo90 · 03/07/2016 14:26

Sparkle I would test on cd 33 that's should give you plenty of time for the hormone to build up and af to (hopefully not) arrive 🙂

Hope your having a lovely holiday Marmite 🙂 That sounds frustrating but promising! Maybe you are slow to build up the hormone so the ic's aren't picking it up! Have you still got your frer? You could try that 😄 Really hoping you get a nice holiday bfp!!! Xxx

Hi all just checking in quickly from hols, wifi a bit sketchy so haven't been able to check back past this page to see what I've missed - have I missed any exciting bfp news!? I hope so!

Sorry for AF bobo and claireFlowers

bobo that is so rude and inappropriate well done for holding your tongue!!

So what I thought was AF arriving on weds was actually only around 30 mins of brown spotting (sorry for tmi!) then another even less amount of brown spotting the next afternoon. That's it. And nothing since. Surely that wasn't actually AF?! My AF has been very light last 2 cycles since being off the pill but still obviously AF and for a few days, with red blood. Has any one else had anything like this?! Have done a few ICs over last few days and all bfn. Currently cd38 so now longest cycle. Unless that was AF and now start of a new cycle?! Guys I am so confused!! Hmm can anyone offer any insight??!

BoBo90 · 02/07/2016 19:36

Good to see you May! Sorry about the frustrating cycle you are having 😔

Lou I have everything crossed for you this cycle!!!

Jj try not to worry it's all totally normal 😄 Just focus on the fact you got your bfp and are having a baby not what could go wrong!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend 😄 I've just spent the afternoon and the mil's bday BBQ. Dh and I were told three times to hurry up and have a baby 😡😡😡 sometimes I really want to just yell and tell people that actually we are trying but it's not happening and the last thing I need is nagging people reminding me grrrr!! Aren't families annoying at times haha xxx

Jjspoon, i found early pregnancy quite stressful with all the cramps etc. I ended up in hospital at 7 weeks with dd2 due to very painful cramps but everything was ok and she's now 3.

I'm not sure when I should test if af doesn't arrive. I had a static smiley on cd16, but I'm not sure if I go from then or a couple of days after because it says peak is for 48hrs. My last 2 cycles were 33 and 32 days.

Jjspoon · 02/07/2016 12:22

I still have no pregnancy symptoms at all and still having cramps. I know it's normal to have the cramps but I just can't help worrying :( this is all so stressful, first the ttc and now the actual early pregnancy.

Sounds like most of you are in the 2ww now, good luck! Hopefully see some of you soon in the pregnancy threads!
