Hi I am new to this too.
I have been trying to concieve baby number 2 since October 2015 with no luck. I don't now what 2 do now..
Since stopping the pill (rivideon) my cycles have been getting longer and longer my last was 54 days this one's been 74 days now and still no period in sight.. it's really getting me down as my 1st is 5 yes 4 months now and didn't want a big age gap. I had blood test for hormones and 2 rule out things like throids ect waiting 4 results.
My gp mentioned being refered to gynecology. Am wondering has anyone else been in this situation b4.im really worried taking the pill has made me infertile as my periods were perfectly on time before the pill. I concieve my 1st a few days after stopping pill so took for granted that this would most likely happen again but absolutely not. Everyone says stop trying or just be grateful u have one baby which really winds me up as I'm so so grateful and we weren't trying hard just going with the flow. So hard to time any ovulation when cycles r soon long.
Any advice will be appreciated sorry for long post.. what happened next 4 u xx

Hey ladies. Hope you've all had a good day. I've been very crampy today, period like type pains. I don't know whether AF is imminent or if the cramps are something else accompanied with feeling sick, sore nipples, smelling everything!! I think I'm going to test Saturday. AF usually comes between day 28 and 31. Cd28 will be Thursday so Im hoping If AF hasn't shown by then Ill test

I did a pregnancy test this morning and it's still showing a faint positive so I want to wait till I get a definitive negative before we start ttc again. (The hospital have advised that may take another 2 weeks or so)

Thank you Claire, honestly last week I was a mess but I'm all cried out now and just want to get on with ttc again.
My DH has been great but he finds it really difficult to express his feelings so doesn't really want to talk about what's happened.

So sorry to hear that highhopes your positive outlook is really inspiring and the fact that you are looking forwards is great. I hope your OH is looking after you in this tough time. We're all here if you need to talk, or vent xx

I am having to book myself a GP appointment as I get the most awful period pains and I dread it every month. Worried I've got something more sinister like endometriosis or something!

Mishy Yesterday was my very first day testing - Ovia said it was my FW so I thought I would see what the test said but I was very surprised it there was nothing there at all. I thought there was always going to be a light line throughout your cycle and then a strong line when ovulation occurs. It is good to know that I was wrong about that as I was worried that I had no LH at all! I think my Ovia is out by a week so won't bother wasting the tests this week and will try again next.

Once my cycles start being regular again I will update Ovia. I input 28 as that was what it was before and while I was on the pill but of course that is not the case now :)

Sarah my boobs hurt a lot the first cycle off the pill as well. No fun at all!

Don't want to put a downer on this thread but can I be moved from the resident preggo's list & back to cycle 1 please?
Gutted but if at first you don't succeed, try & try again!

No I don't think it counts... cycle 1 is counted as cd1 from first real af. It's so difficult to tell though, mother nature doesnt make it easy and the pill has a lot to answer for! Could go either way for you though, I hope it's good news soon!

Can I class it as my first cycle even if I haven't had af ?
I'm so confused cos my boobs are killing I can't even walk with them hurting xx
