Ps sorry about AF Claire.. It's ok to be sad and disappointed. I used to allow myself to mope on the day I came on but then Onward and upwards to new cycle, good luck for this one!

Bobo good for the Angus, hopefully you ov this week! X

Sunnydays321 · 26/04/2016 07:39

Snap, all those times at school where you are told it only takes once! (I know that can be true but look at us all trying so hard!) I worried for years a was going to get pregnant on the pill, used to wait anxiously for period every month and even did a few terrifying pregnancy tests... Wish I'd saved my worry now!! Haha! X

ClaireSunflower · 26/04/2016 05:50

I know Loulabelle! You spend so many years trying not to get pregnant and thinking it would be so easy to accidentally get pregnant and when you actually want to it's not so easy!

Loulabelle1990 · 25/04/2016 22:15

Yeah well what will be will be!

Sorry to hear of your vomming sunny! Must be horrible!

Sorry AF got you Claire. It's a long old process ttc. I wish it was like I always used to think where u could get pregnant any time u had unprotected sex BlushBlush. How amazing would that be?! xx

BoBo90 · 25/04/2016 21:51

Haha sunny the image if you accidentally vomming on a patient is quite amusing! Not brilliant for you but if it makes you relaxed having symptoms it's a positive thing Grin

Really sorry af got you Claire! I think we all felt like that first cycle. You build your hopes up and as you can't compare it to other cycles you start to feel pregnant. Crying is normal, your dh will et used to it Wink fx this cycle will be the one for you!! New cycle, new chance Smile

Looks like I am out this month :-( AF arrive this morning. Really unexpectedly as I am only 8dpo. Feeling quite down about it which is a bit silly as its only our first month ttc but was feeling really hopeful as I used opks, dtd several times around ovulation, ate really healthily, cut out caffeine and alcohol, took vitamins. I don't know what more I could have done!

I know it's irrational as the chances of getting pregnant are 20ish percent every month but just feeling really sad about it. Burst into tears this evening because I forgot to get ingredients for hubby's birthday cake and think he didn't know quite what to do! Blush oh well start again from scratch this month!

BoBo90 · 25/04/2016 19:01

Cookie - really hope you get your bfp this cycle lovely! Dh and I dtd loads last month and it's so annoying when you really try and its a bfn! It's definitely your turn to become a resident preggo though Smile

I'm CD 9 and had some pain earlier which I couldn't quite tell if it was ovary pain or sciatica/leg pain. Did an opk and got a line so guess it was ovary pain! Going on previous cycles I get v pain 5-7 days before I ov and lines start building up from then too! So I should ov in the next week! Which is much earlier than last cycle Grin I flipping love Agnus Castus!

Well done on your "one for luck" cookie!! You have done all you can. Fingers crossed for you.

Fingers crossed the boobs are a good sign loulabelle. Mine hurt earlier this cycle that any previous.. But then they also used to hurt a lot more on the pill and obv wasn't pregnant so sometimes it's just fluctuating hormones that does it.

I feel generally better the last few days, less nauseous and food averse, but then just randomly vomiting out of the blue. Only about once a day but with zero nausea or warning. I was literally just sat on the sofa, worrying (typically) about my lack of symptoms today...iv felt great all day, no nausea, not tired and actually wondering what I fancy for tea. Went to the loo and bent down to pick something up and just suddenly just thought "oh crap I'm gonna vom" and there it was! I'm not complaining as although it's dreadful at the time I'd rather be sick than having that dreadful stomach churning nausea all day, where you can't concentrate or do anything. I'm just a bit worried I'm going to actually vom on a patient/mid sentence. X

Loulabelle1990 · 25/04/2016 18:31

I haven't been doing OPK's cookie but will next cycle if not successful this time. I've never had tender or sore breasts during ovulation plus I'm not getting any EWCM! Just going to have to wait and see I think!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you this cycle cookie! I'm sure you've done more than enough, your poor egg won't know what's hit it! GrinWink xxx

Cookie22 · 25/04/2016 17:33

Faint not fainted*

Cookie22 · 25/04/2016 17:32

Lou, have you been doing OPKs? Maybe your boobs are sore because you're ov'ing? I never really get sore boobs but I've noticed that they do get tender around my ovulation! It so frustrating isn't it, not knowing what's happening!

How's you Bobo? What CD are you on now lovely?

Well I managed to work my womanly charm on DH as he got in from work, so I'll treat that as 'one more for luck' 😄😄. OPK was fainted at 4pm today so I think I've ov'd today! Have really tried really hard this month- please let it be enough! Xx

BoBo90 · 25/04/2016 15:37

Welcome Claire and Soph! and welcome back Shan Smile glad you found us on the new thread! Hope you ov soon lovely.

Cookie - So pleased you got your positive at last! fx you catch that pesky egg!!

Lou - fx for a bfp for you in a few days Grin

Chapman - so excited for you on Friday! Hope it doesn't drag too much Smile

Thanks sunny Smile. If I'm not due until 10th may I don't understand why I have aching boobs already!!! Unless my cycle is shorter this month? Or I'm pregnant? Oh this is so hard lol. They usually only hurt for a couple of days before AF but it's been longer this time.

Thanks cookie! I know it's a good sign just don't wanna get my hopes up!

Glad you've had positive OPK's, by the sound of it you've done more than enough, they say once every other day is fine Smile xxx

Cookie22 · 25/04/2016 12:07

Hey ladies! Nice to hear from you Shan! Hope ov comes soon for you hun! Are you taking Agnus or anything? Lou, I'm impatient too and would prob test as early as I could! Achy boobs is a good sign Mrs!

Chapman, you must be counting down the days now until your midwife appointment! So exciting!

Well another dark, dark positive OPK today. We managed to dtd yesterday morning and night! I don't think we'll manage tonight as DH has said he's knackered (been BD'ing since Friday ahh!). Do you think that'll be enough? Ideally I'd want to do it tonight too incase the egg hasn't popped yet. We'll see! Xx

Checking in ladies
How is everyone doing :)
Congratulations Chapman delighted for u :)
Any new updates girls it's been a while :)
Well I'm still waiting to ov but I think I'm getting close with the back pain this morning and few pains which happens every ov?
On my phone tracker guys it says iv only had 2 cycles which make this cycle 3
Cycle 1-29 days
Cycle 2- 69 days
Cycle 3- cd 23
No sign of ov only this morning so looks like long cycle for me again :(

Sunnydays321 · 25/04/2016 08:09

Loulabelle, some people like to wait until their AF is late to avoid the disappointment of negative tests. But I'm too impatient. I got a positive at 10dpo with an early response test. Either the SuperDrug early test (not the normal SuperDrug one as they are a bit pants) or a first response early response are good. Be warned tho it makes the first few weeks of pregnancy feel loooooonnnngggg if you get a positive that early! Haha. Good luck. X

Loulabelle1990 · 25/04/2016 07:37

I don't know when to test chapman! According to apps AF isn't due until 10th May and I supposedly ovulated a week today so currently 7DPO. Only thing that's confusing me is I've have sore/achy boobs since last Thursday and u usually get this a couple of days before AF so I don't know what's going on! I'm not sure when I should test (if AF doesn't show up this week). What do u think?! xxx

cnchapmanxx · 24/04/2016 21:33

Johno - haha yes it was like when I used to take my pill I used to take 3 at a time (during the early days of pill taking) it's a wonder I didn't end up pregnant sooner haha! I would recommend them but I'm just bias haha!

May - thankyou lovely he is super but yes your right if he knew the stuff I post on here he would be like really?!? He's a very private person haha! Just after AF has been is the boring part Hun but ov will soon be here for you! Grin

Cookie - I know I was silly but your right babe I literally thought being pregnant was gonna be less stressful than ttc but what do I know Grin super happy for you that you've got a good pos opk! Get pouncing on oh! Got my fingers and toe crossed for you my lovely xxx

Bee - I have this constant battle every day babe I work full time so does oh but I do so much overtime and both our parents live about 200 miles away so it'l be hard but you find ways to cope! Also to you & Claire - in my fertile week I only dtd twice. Thursday and then on the Sunday. Had my positive opk on Saturday and then on Sunday so think I popped on Monday! It only takes one little jizzy to make it Wink

Lou - when are you testing Hun? Got my fx for you so u and every one else can join the resident preggos haha

Ive had a nice weekend after I managed to relax on Saturday- seeing the midwife Friday this week is gonna drag! Can't wait think il be 6 weeks then and I can kind of relax .. XXXX

ClaireSunflower · 24/04/2016 21:06

Definitely paranoid about missing it too Ridiculous. We dtd 2 days before ovulation and the day off. Ideally would have done it 1 day before but couldn't as we were staying at his parents house. Hopefully the other 2 days will have been enough but have to wait and see.

thisisbloodyridiculous · 24/04/2016 20:42

Thanks cookie & johno - I have an amazing DF who is retired and MIL will also be happy to help but tbh I want to go part time so I can play an active role in children's lives! It's just hard to make a decision to do that when self employed because everything rests on my shoulders.

Struggling to motivate DH to DTD tonight... but we didn't do it Friday or Saturday! A little worried we might miss this month if we don't. Is anyone else this paranoid about it?! Blush

Sunnydays321 · 24/04/2016 18:47

Woohoo cookie, super duper opk!! Get on it! Glad the Angus seemed to do something.. I think I almost benefitted from stopping it and starting again, like it gave my body a kick start again. Xx

Cookie22 · 24/04/2016 16:48

Woohoo I know Johnno, i love a hell yea of a postive opk! Just read your message about the CB opks! I gave up with them this month as they were doing my head in! I had a static last month and it clearly wasn't even my peak. It really confused me! Cheapy OPKs all the way for me!! Hope ov comes soon for you xx

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 16:46

Ridiculous you'll make it work lovely. Husband is a chef and hoping to run his own business in the near future. After all the effort ttc we can achieve anything!

Cookie22 · 24/04/2016 16:45

Thanks ridiculous! CD23 for me and usually have a 34/35 day cycle. Hoping my luteal phase stretches out long enough this month! Ooh that does sound like a stressful job! Could parents/family help out with childcare? It's one of those things where somehow things just fall into place and everything works out fine. I really admire self employed ladies who can juggle children and work!

Ooh Sunny I wanted to say a thank you for the advise on taking Agnus mid cycle. Found some old tablets (thought id finished them all) and started taking them on Thursday. I think it's potentially kick started my surge as nothing at all was happening beforehand! Thanks mrs xx
