Oh you can wait cookie, you've waited this long! If you test now and it's negative you'll be disappointed and think it's all over!! I have the cheapies and the CB digital so I'll prove use both!

Thanks for your advice ladies! I've read some really good things about it so thought I'd give it a go, especially better if you can use your FMU rather than having to hold for 4 hours etc with cheapies just like your May! I guess it what works for you. xx

Bobo I am not far behind you CD14 and Low reading on CB. Feeling really emotional and moody. Ramdomly i think I find this part of cycle the hardest. Waiting to see if/when I will ov and hoping cycle not longer than the last. Been hoping AC would get me to a day 14 ov first month ... Wishful thinking!!

I find with the 2ww I can chill a bit knowing i could be pregnant, I can't do anything else and I will know for sure in a few days.

I am still using CB Loula. Haven't been great for me but persevering. I struggle with cheap opks as I have two lines the whole cycle and dont tend to get a noticeable build before positive. I therefore worry if I drink too much in day I will miss it. At least with CB you do it first thing in the morning. But to be fair I am doing both! Bloody obsessed!!

I'm 8dpo now Loula! Time is dragging by! Trying to resist temptation to test with FRER tomorrow at 9dpo! I have 3 stashed away but going to try and hold off until 10dpo.

Thanks Bobo, it was just the weirdest feeling. It wasn't like cramps, honestly like a zapping pins & needles type feeling in the uterus that went on for ages! Had a pad on all day but there is nothing on it after that initial blood when I wiped- phew! Oh no your pesky ovaries need to man up and get their groove on! Any luck with OPK tonight??

Loula, I used the digital CB from January-March cycles. I really liked them initially but if you have multiple surges like me then they're pointless. Much prefer the cheapy ones now! Xx

How many DPO are you now cookie? I am also keeping everything tossed for you that it's implantation!!!

Really hope ov comes soon for you Bobo! Keep doing multiple OPKs! Loula, waiting for AF to finish is the worst part then you can start again with the positivity! I'm sure if you take the seven seas somewhere near the start of your cycle then it should be ok!

Well girls I'm in a worryful state! Had these 'zapping' like pains that actually woke me during the night. Wiped this morning and had very light, almost barely there blood on the tissue. Staying hopeful it's implantation as there's nothing at al there now, but I can't help but worry due to my short luteal phase xx

Aw Sunny, your DH sound super cute! What a lovely hubby! Its totally true what you're saying- the men really do have little say & involvement in various pregnancy related decisions. I think it would be a lovely gift allowing him to decide whether to find out or not. And you could always find out & keep the news to yourselves!

Ooo cookie fingers crossed for sore boobs! It's so hard to resist the ic isn't it! If they weren't so cheap it would be easier but for like 10p each what the hell! Haha, just for reassurance I didn't see anything on an ic until 12dpo despite a good line on an early response at 10 dpo.

I think I heart little baby's heartbeat this morning. Iv been trying for a few days and heard absolutely zilch but heard it for about 20 seconds this morning. Of course by the time I got my phone to record it it had moved! I just caught about 3 seconds on record for dh and then couldn't find it again... But I feel immensely better for having heard it. I know it doesn't mean things will stay fine but at least I know all is well at the moment! I haven't had my bookings with the midwife yet, am booked in for 9+6.. I am a midwife so one of my colleagues will do it for me (we still have to have a named midwife same as everyone else... Can't do my own bloods or measure my own fundal height etc!) but I'm not bothered till leaving it till the last minute cos I know all the advice etc.. And the later people at work know the better!

I think we will find out sex, I always said I wouldn't as there is so little else other than weight to tell people on the day. But dh really wants to know, I think it will help him feel more real and connected to it all, so I'm happy to go with what he wants, after all they don't have a lot of control or input in the process. He is being so much cuter than I ever thought he would be. Keeps kissing my tummy when he gets out of bed in the morning! Cuteness. He isn't normally remotely into babies and doesn't really get excited about this stuff so it's extra sweet. Xx

7dpo for me now and started stupidly peeing on my ICs! I really could have sworn my boobs felt slightly tender when I woke up. My boobs have NEVER EVER felt sore! Maybe I'm imagining it! Probably am! Ah, this wait is killing me! Hope you're all having a lovely bank hol xx

I was sick again this morning, and felt really sick last night, couldn't force my dinner down. Poor baby, all I can eat is fruit salad, crisps and sweets and plain beige carby food like noodles and oven food like waffles. Everything else makes my stomach turn over. Why is it I can face eating the stuff that's bad for me! Got to do the food shop today otherwise dh might starve and I can't face it! In a weird way I like feeling sick tho, I find it reassuring. X

Sunny - I am so glad someone else is sharing my experience I literally feel like I've got bipolar. One minute I'm over the moon and looking forward to everything the next I'm crying thinking I only have sore boobs and tiredness why aren't I being sick and have nausea is there something wrong.
It's so stressful an worrying sometimes I just wish I can flash forward to my scan! I will defo hold your hand through the first trimester babe! I'm just glad I can speak to you lot about it because I do speak to DH but he gets upset cause I'm upset haha! I knicker check all the time cause I have bad wind (Fart constantly) and always think when I do that maybe it's blood etc! Roll on 6 weeks time! 😢 xxxx

Chapman... I am totally with you on the anxiety/panic/worry/crazy front! I think it would do me good to step away but I'm addicted. I went through about a week of manically googling miscarriage rates by day of pregnancy, I still knicker check to see if there's blood (lots of creamy cm makes it feel like I'm coming on all the time), prodding my boobs like a mad woman etc. my new thing is trying to listen to a heart beat and obviously not finding one cos it's too early... But then that panics me too. It my rational moments I know that nothing I do or don't do will have an impact and I just need to be patient and hope all is well. Sorry you are feeling the anxiety too. Hand hold through the first trimester together? You are welcome to private message of you want to chat without freaking these lovely ladies out about what's to come! Haha xx

I'm so sorry I haven't been on for a while. I've been feeling really down and anxious since getting my BFP! The excitement only lasted a couple of days until I got this chemical thing in my head had a meltdown and kept poas 😂 I'm now 6+2 have seen the midwife and all is well! My boobs are still very sore, I'm so tired to the point I had 14 hours last night and have been asleep again today for 2. I've also gone off food totally I had to force a cheese toastie down me but no sickness or nausea!
Midwife was lovely she's booked me in for 11th may for me to choose my hospital and arrange my scan which I think will be second week in June!

Bobo you are right I didn't feel any different when I got my BFP apart from that constipation for 4 days that was about it! So I would encourage everyone not to symptom spot!

Oh johno, sorry it was negative, I feel bad for egging you on. But your chart does look really positive!! Is this the first month charting? Sometimes it takes a couple of months to work out what your pre ov temps are like. Fingers crossed it's just too early but keep temping and an eye on your chart. Enjoy the cheese and cider today!! Xx

I did it and tested with first response and bfn! Booooo! Funnily enough I don't feel that sad atm, probably something to do with cider and cheese festival I did feel pretty nervous and sure that it was going to be BFP. I had all the ov signs and temp and opk. Although I hit about 20 days flashing smiley on clear blue digital so think it can't be trusted!

Ooo johno do show us a screen grab of your temp chart. I love a chart. I would definitely test at 14dpo... But I am impatient. I got a positive at 10dpo but it obviously does differ from person to person and depends on how certain you are about your ov date. Did you do opks as well as temp? Any other ov signs at same time? My boobs were really sore at the beginning of the pregnancy, as in don't touch them, don't roll over in bed etc.. But that was a bit later than when I got my bfp. Now they just feel heavy and a bit tender at edges but I do get the odd shooting pain through them too. Good luck. Test test test!

Morning all

So today is cd35. My longest cycle so far has been 47 days. According to ff I'm 14dpo (if ov date is correct)

I have had really low cramps/tugging all week, pretty much throughout the day and on waking. Sore boobs but not in the sense to the touch, could squeeze them all day and nowt. But I keep getting these random sharp shooting pains through them (not normal for me)- anyone else had this?

My temp is still raised and looking "triphasic" apparently!

Ff suggests not testing until 18dpo if you have irregular cycles!

What's the longest luteal length anyone on here has?

Off to a "cider and cheese" festival today (gotta love Somerset) and as much as I wanna drink and be merry I wonder whether I should do a test beforehand?!

I'm at the irrational stage where I keep thinking "we did everything right so it must be this month....right?!" Lol
