Cookie, I'm so sorry, has af got you? I couldn't work it out from the previous posts. Don't worry too much about the short luteal phase, mine were 7-10 days max and here I am. I even had a scan once at 7dpo that showed no evidence of ovulation and it still worked. Keep it up, but if you get 6+ months of short luteal phase then take your cycle charts to the GP. Hope your week off to get over it is full of chocolate and wine!

May great news for ovulation. Don't worry, we only dtd the day of and the day after iv and that worked. It was such a long cycle we had kind of given up and then surprise opk, so no dtd in the run up. Good luck!

Lawyered, it's so hard isn't it but if it's only 1 month I would be tempted to wait. I suppose it depends on how you would cope without your mat pay. We couldn't manage as I earn more than dh. But I spose even if it wasn't that way round the extra money would certainly take the pressure and sress off.

I'm feeling much better this week, a few nauseous moments but not been sick since Monday. Yay. Was worried this meant something was wrong but heartbeat still beating away so will make the most of the lack of vomiting.

Thanks Bobo and Chapman - continued to do OPKs and still positive today. Jumped OH again this morning (despite now being full of cold!) and beggining to get cramps now so fingers crossed we caught it!

After first High on CB but a very negative OPK yesterday I woke up to a peak this morning. Confirmed with a very positive OPK. Annoyingly my OH has been away this week which I didn't think was an issue given I didn't OV till day 33 last month. So haven't DTD since Sunday. Just jumped him as soon as he got back today and will try again in the morn in case it takes a while to actually OV.

Either way though I am looking at the positives in that AC seems to have got me to ovulate far earlier!

Hi cookie hope you're feeling ok. Totally know that feeling too as I had it last month. I would describe it the same as you, sort of zapping prickly feelings so was almost sure something was happening but the AF arrived at only 8dpo. I was quite upset because I felt like implantation was happening but didn't get the chance. I suppose our bodies all just take time to get back to normal. Hope you're feeling ok. Next month is a new chance so try not to get too down xx

Thanks for your lovely words girls, don't know where I'd be without yous! I just felt this month that possibly something happened. I know it sounds silly but the zapping, prickly pains on Monday night followed but the very light spots of blood on tues are making me think implantation happened or at least tried to happen. Luteal phase only 9/10 days, which just isn't long enough. I hope you're all well! I'm going to take a wee hiatus for a week to get over my bad mood, will keep lurking though!! Love to you all xxx

Hello ladies! I'm back after my "hiatus" and ready now to ttc #2!

So here is my dilemma. To be entitled to maternity pay, I have to have been back at work for 12 months before the next lot of maternity leave. My return date was 3 Feb so I have to start next lot of leave on or after 3 Feb 2017. I had my last period started on Friday which would give me a estimated due date of 4 Feb...which also happens to be my daughters birthday. What would you do? Do you think the due date is too close to call or worth the risk of starting to ttc this month (knowing it may not happen for a while anyway)? Maternity pay is 6 months full pay.

Yeah that sounds similar to mine, I was on cerazette from May to December which completely stopped my periods the whole time so was like a shock to the system when I came off it!

I'll keep my fx for you that everything regulates itself. It will sort itself out but if it would make you feel better then maybe go see your GP to see if they can suggest anything xx

I started the pill 3 years ago was on combine 1 then changed to microfine for 3 months b4 cerezze and I took that from October to the start of December but b4 the pill I never had problems with ov or anything was all regular 29/30 days every month same on the pill got them when the 7 day break until I went on cerezze where I got no period atal think that's fucked me.up completely? So have to wait n see

Hi Shan, I have to say I did lol at your 21st comment haha!

I came off my pill on 6th December, didn't have any kind of bleed or withdrawal bleed at all until 17th Feb, then had another period on 29th March and then again on 30th April. Every one is different and cycles do go a bit awol after stopping the pill. Which one were you on?? I went to the docs cos I was concerned at first and had blood tests which came back all fine and also had an ultrasound scan of my ovaries which was also fine.

It's so frustrating I know but it's just a waiting game at the moment! Are you taking any Pregnacare supplements or anything?? Because I was taking that and as soon as I stopped I had my first bleed since stopping the pill xxx

I came off the pill the start of December and waiting for my 21st af which came th end of December? And my next one was the end of January which was 29 days then I had a long cycle for 69 days and got af the start of April n now I'm waiting I dno what's going on ?
So cycle 1 was 29
Cycle 2 was 69
Currently on cycle 3? But it's my 5th month off it ? And had a withdrawal bleed and 3 periods? Hope it goes normal soon :(
