Hi welcome purple and I hope your cycle goes back to normal soon. It must be so frustrating for you. I am already impatient for mine to go back to normal. I am now on my second cycle and finally ovulated either yesterday or today (cd23) based on opks. I'm not feeling hopeful this time as last month i ovulated on cd23 and got AF 1 week later so I am guessing the same thing is going to happen again. It's annoying because I don't feel like I'm even going to get a chance to get pregnant until my cycle goes back to a normal pattern and god knows how long that could take!

Purpleviola14 · 17/05/2016 18:53

Hi girls,
Thankyou for your welcoming words Smile

SusieBu thanks you will have to bare with me, I've picked up a lot of the lingo but every now and then an abbreviation pops up that has me stumped! How long have you been ttc?

May Hi! Grin I stopped my pill in March, not even had any form of withdrawal or AF, hence the AC, I'm absolutely desperate for my cycle to come back. I was on the pill for 9 years prior to this so I just feel like my ovaries have fallen asleep! It's so frustrating.
I've been temping and my chart looks crazy! But I had a very near positive OPK on 8th, with really bad ov pains, then light spotting (really sorry tmi!) about a week after, so I've convinced myself it could IB although it probably isn't! B6 is supposed to help regulate, or so I've read! How did you find AC?

Lol Loulabelle, I know, I'm far too impatient, It's driving me crazy I just want AF at least to know where my cycles at.
It's really lovely to chat to people who I can relate to, pretty sure DH is sick of the sound of ovulation talk!

Xx

Loulabelle1990 · 17/05/2016 17:31

Hi purple and welcome! Unfortunately I don't know of any other supplements which can make your cycles more regular. I think patience is the key!

What is the scan for susie? Fx you will get a BFP by this time next week!!

When is AF due May? Keeping my fx for you too!!

I got another flashy smiley today. Because I'm not sure how long the flasher is going to be around I've said to DH to DTD every other day until we get the static one when we will have to do it every day for 2 days (plus a couple extra for luck Grin)

May07 · 17/05/2016 12:49

Thanks for the positive thoughts girls! Constantly feeling like AF starting. Had a lot of CM past few days which has now stopped. No cramps any more just a bit bloated. Not thought about testing as so sure AF coming to upset me any minute!

Any sign of anything for you cookie?

How are you doing with CB Loula? Any sign of static smiley today? I also bought from Amazon and felt far more confident when I saw static smiley this month. Previous month i didn't use and my opks were not very obviously positive so I doubted results for the rest of the cycle.

Welcome purple! What cycle are you on? I have only tried AC. What is B6 supposed to do?

Susie weekend of wine sounds lovely to me. Glad your scan sorted, June will fly round! Although hopefully you will have a BFP and won't need it! Do you know when you ovulated?

SusieBu16 · 17/05/2016 09:07

Welcome Purple - I am a bit of a newbie on these threads also :) x

SusieBu16 · 17/05/2016 09:05

Hi ladies,

Sorry been off this weekend. Had a few too many wines Blush
How are you all doing today?
Had bloods done yesterday, to phone up next week about them and scan rescheduled for June.
According to period tracker app I am due AF in 7 days...sat here feeling sickly and period like now with creamy white CM. Could it be? I don't want to get my hopes up Confused probably just looking out for any little sign! X

Purpleviola14 · 16/05/2016 21:18

Hi Ladies,
I'm new and wondered if I could join in, this seems like the thread for me! ☺️
I just wondered if any of you had taken any particular supplements to help regulate your cycles?
Im taking Angus cast is and b6 but didn't know if there was anything else out there I could try x

Loulabelle1990 · 16/05/2016 19:06

Hey cookie, I am okay thank you! I am currently on CD 17. That's good, are you going to try and be more chilled out this month? At least you got loads coming up to keep u occupied!

How did you know you hadn't hit your peak? I have heard quite a few success stories with the CB one so thought I'd give it a try. This is the first month were properly 'trying'. It is very expensive but if you get them on Amazon they are a bit cheaper! What cycle are you on now? xx

Cookie22 · 16/05/2016 18:16

Hi Loula, how's you lovely? What CD are you on? I'm good thanks Mrs! Feeling better and just going to ''try'' and enjoy this month without stressing... Have quite a lot of family & friends weddings to attend so looking forward to that! I liked the CB one initially Loula but it kept saying I hit my peak when I didn't. I think I have multiple surges every month and it got very confused with my whacky cycles! Might give it another go this month but it's v expensive! Glad you got a flashing face! Hopefully the flasher makes way for mr static soon!! Xx

Loulabelle1990 · 16/05/2016 17:50

I am keeping my fx for you still may! Your not out until the witch turns up!

How are you cookie?

I used the CB digital again today and had a flashing smiley!! So happy! I just hope I don't get loads of flashing smileys and not a static one. Will have to DTD loads otherwise.

Has anyone else had any good experiences with this device? xxx

Cookie22 · 16/05/2016 17:32

FXfor you May! Symptoms sound promising, keep hoping! When are you going to test if no AF? Glad Agnus brought you Ov forward Mrs! Hopefully my cycle will be shorter this month but doesn't look likely at the moment!

Shan, how many dpo are you? Why don't you test? Xx

May07 · 16/05/2016 12:38

Hi ladies!

So glad you are feeling brighter Cookie!!

I am 9dpo and only cd27. AC really did bring my ov forward vs. previous months. Absolutely sure AF coming any minute. Had strange pains yesterday, very bloated, extremely spotty and highly emotional. Spent a lot of yesterday in floods of tears because of imminent AF. Just couldn't bring myself round. Must be my hormones now off the pill but not been as bad as yesterday before. Feel sorry for OH!!

Louabelle I would expect a positive on cheapies around cd 19 on a 33 day cycle. Mine don't seem to get gradually darker they just change all of a sudden.

How confusing Helpme. What day are you on now?

Helpmeconceive · 16/05/2016 08:18

Hey all still no sign of AF I'm getting some EWCM aswel so maybe I didn't ov yet?

Cookie22 · 15/05/2016 20:21

Thanks May, I am definitely feeling better now and ready for this cycle! This WILL be my month!! How many dpo are you? Wow 10 weeks Sunny, that's brilliant! Hopefully the sickness will pass soon. Must be awful trying to potter on with work when you feel like that. Hope your shifts didn't drag in too much!!

CD11 and no sign of ov as yet. Probably have another 10 days or so to wait, if my last cycles are anything to go by xx

Loulabelle1990 · 15/05/2016 12:21

Hi Claire, this is my first cycle using OPK's. I started off with the cheapies but recently got the clear blue dual hormone one as it shows she you are highly fertile and then your peak. I am currently on CD 15 or 16 and the line isn't getting any darker on the cheapies - do you think it's too early to be getting darker on a 33 day cycle?

The CB ones I have have been all negative so far, I started using the pink CB one but used the purple dual one the first time this morning. When you take the CB stick out you can see the lines on the other side too xxx

ClaireSunflower · 15/05/2016 09:23

Hi ladies. Can I ask what brand opks you are all using? So far I've been using the green one step cheapies from eBay which I quite like, mainly because you can poas all you like without it costing very much! This month I decided to splash out on the clear blue digital ones but am not finding them much use. Looks like I am ovulating very late this cycle again as I'm now on cd20 and nothing Confused. At least on the cheap ones you can see a line getting darker (looking quite dark today but not peak) but on the clear blue ones all you get is a yes or no which can be a bit disheartening. No smiley for me yet! Think I will be sticking to the cheapies from now on!

May07 · 14/05/2016 10:58

Hi Cookie lovely to have you back. So sorry you are having a tough time. It's difficult to keep getting your hopes up and it not happen. Take care and hope this cycle is the one. I always find the first couple of weeks the hardest. So hope you feel brighter soon.

Exciting you are now 10 weeks Sunny. Do you have your scan date? Sorry sickness and work proving difficult. Does not sound fun. Hope OH looks after you, must be hard for them to understand when it's the early days but realise that doesn't help you.

In regards to my symptoms I just have standard AF symptoms e.g. creamy CM, constantly erect nipples (random!! Blush), really hot in the night etc.

I have been far more aware of pelvic pains this time but think you just become more aware over the months. Not under any illusions it means anything.

Interesting you had short luteal phase too makes me feel a bit better knowing you still managed to get pregnant.

Hope everyone else well!!

Sunnydays321 · 13/05/2016 21:44

Hi ladies: sorry iv not been around this week, just trying to step back a bit and not be too anxious. Time is going slowly! 10 weeks and 1 day. I am keeping an eye on you all though!

Johno sorry af got you. Sucks. Fingers crossed for next month. X

Welcome suzie. I also had pcos diagnosed on scan. Normal weight, normal hormone levels, bit of acne and irregular cycles but no other symptoms. I'm preggers now so it obviously didn't impact too much. We did try for 6 months and had really odd cycles and short luteal phase but got there with a combo of opks (which still worked despite the pcos) temping to confirm ov, and Angus castus. Hope you get your scan soon.

May any symptoms? My luteal phase was only 7-9 days max. I had a worrying scan one cycle at 7dpo where they saw no evidence of ovulation.. But I think it was just too late and had already started to break down as came on next day. But I did get pregnant so was obviously long enough to implant. Good luck.

Bobo hope you are having a splendid holiday and that the chilled out approach works for you this month!

Cookie sorry this month has hit you hard. It does get harder and harder each cycle. But you will get there!

I was really sick again tonight, had a long day at work (I'm on call and ended up staying 2 hours) with almost no food. Really hoping i don't get called out tonight. Dh is offering very minimal amounts of sympathy. I know it's hard to really "get" how crappy someone else feels, but come on, if he was nauseous and vomiting for a month I would never hear the end of it!! Haha, he is doing most of the kitchen cleaning/dishes though as its grim! I'm not really moaning as I know how lucky I am to be here, and the symptoms make me feel better. Just, why couldn't pregnancy symptoms be more pleasant, ie instead of vomiting, tiredness and spots we could get great skin, cry sweeties and feel floaty and relaxed!! Haha wishful thinking.

Have a nice weekend everyone. Think of me vomming my way through my 8 day stretch at work with my two 16 hour all night on calls!! Xx

Cookie22 · 13/05/2016 18:44

Hi everyone, hope you're all well! Sorry for the absence, I just feel like I'm taking AFs arrival even tougher as the months go in. Felt particularly hopeful this months after the early spotting and weird pelvic pains. Oh well, a new cycle! CD9 and not much going on so just chilling out for the time being.

How are we all doing? I haven't had a chance to read where we all are at in our cycles!! Fill me in ladies! (Or I could just not be lazy and scroll up lol!). Oooh ridiculous -huge congrats to you Hun!! Wow amazing news!! And welcome Susie, it always nice to have new girlies here! Bobo have you ov'd yet? How was your hol?? Hope our resident preggo are keeping well- it will be 12 week scan time soon for some of you! Xx

SusieBu16 · 13/05/2016 15:58

May I don't think there is such a thing as TMI when you're in our boats! Hopefully it's not AF on way. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

May07 · 13/05/2016 14:08

Thanks Susie.

Unfortunately I am feeling less positive. Started with creamy cm (sorry Tmi). Looking back at ovia I always seem to start with this 3 days before AF. Great! Funny how you can go from positive to pissed off in a matter of hours!! Angry

SusieBu16 · 13/05/2016 10:55

thanks May fingers and toes crossed for you!
He is only suffering from boredom and inability to sit still for 5 minutes Grin
Hopefully won't take too long for another scan, will have to ask doc on monday! the appointment came through pretty quickly that time (literally 2 weeks!) so I have a more positive head on today.
Some relaxation and sunshine will hopefully do you the world of good. It can all get a bit much sometimes with daily life to contend with as well!

May07 · 13/05/2016 10:28

Crossed post susie! I tried seven seas from well before trying to get it in the system. However no luck and read some people thought they messed with cycles so stopped taking.

However I know others have positive stories. Think it was chapman that tried and got pregnant first month.

May07 · 13/05/2016 10:25

Glad your having a nice break Bobo sure it will be doing you good! We are going away in a few weeks and can't wait for some sun. Hopefully going old school without squinting at strips everyday will work a treat for you.

I re-looked at my dates and never made it past 8 days so even more of a worry! Wouldn't have even had chance to implant by then! Although if it was only 8 days this time cycle would only be 27 days, massive drop after 40+ so hopefully AF will take a bit longer. Or better still not come at all! Must stay positive! Smile

Hope your little one ok susie and not suffering too much with chicken pox. Do you know how long another scan could take? Hopefully bloods will provide an insight on Monday.

Hope everyone else is well and looking forward to the weekend!! Grin

SusieBu16 · 13/05/2016 10:18

Any of you ladies tried any seven seas vitamin products or any of the lubricants that are supposed to help you conceive? Smile just wondering if it's worth it! I read good things on Amazon x
