Marmite toast DILR week 😂 haha! Haven't heard that one yet but guessed what it means!

Jjspoon · 07/06/2016 12:44

Good luck lou, hope it's signs of a BFP, it seems like we're all having random symptoms so who knows what's going on but fingers crossed! I'm on cd7 today and was planning on dtd tonight as had a short cycle last time but now af is back after 3 days of nothing so not practical for baby making :( seems like I'm a bit all over the place

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 08:26

Hi all just catching a up after a (gloriously sunny!) long weekend away with DHs family. Was lovely spending time with SiLs little ones... Makes you want it even more though!

Still catching up on here but sorry for all those getting unwanted AF and fingers crossed for some BFPs soon!

CD 12 here so rapidly approaching the DILR week!! Well, I think.. Depending on cycle length this time! DH is full of the cold and/or hayfever though and feeling grim... Hmm

Johno85 · 06/06/2016 19:59

Ah lou sending you hugs lovely. I have really bad cramps this evening now too, so either the witch is on her way to me or who knows?! Confused keep us posted X

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 19:00

Good luck to you johno! Sounds promising! My AF usually lasts 4 days or so but I've never had it like today and yesterday, I was so sure it was implantation and then bam! She shows up. Stupid witch! xx

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 18:59

Ah thank you. My body is really confusing me. Just been to the toilet and there is more red now like normal AF Sad

HighHopes16 · 06/06/2016 18:29

Yes I felt bloated & crampy, my boobs hurt & I was feeling really moody (all my usual pre AF symptoms) Then what I thought was AF arrived a week late but it was much lighter than usual and disappeared after a few days which is what made me do a test ! Fingers crossed!! Lou

Johno85 · 06/06/2016 18:16

Hey Lou. How long does your AF normally last? I love how people are quoting history from the Preggo lot!

Cd 27 today. My boobs are really sore which isn't normal for me. Going to poas Sunday if AF hasn't arrived by then. Although it's pretty tricky to know when to test when cycles vary so bloody much! Any one else due to poas?

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 17:49

Okay, I might wait till Wednesday and do a test then.

Did you still get AF type cramps high? I feel exactly like I usually do when AF is in the house!

HighHopes16 · 06/06/2016 17:31

Definitely do a test in a couple of days Lou as that sounds like what I had and I got my BFP! Smile

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 15:27

Thanks ladies. I would love to think it's implantation but I literally haven't had any red blood. If it's not implantation, do you think it's worth a visit to the doctors?

Also my boobs have stopped hurting like they usually do before AF. Only thing that's different this month is I have loads of spots and I feel nauseous! xx

BoBo90 · 06/06/2016 14:49

HighHopes did have something similar. I guess it depends how much the egg decides to nestle in! Brown blood doesn't really count either as that's old blood and could be there from last period (sounds icky but does happen) fx for you lovely Smile! Let us know how you get on xxx

ClaireSunflower · 06/06/2016 14:09

I'd do another test Loula. I remember highhopes had the same thing where she thought AF had arrived but must have been implantation because it stopped and she got her bfp. Fx for you x

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 13:27

I don't know if it was too much for implantation? Can implantation bleeding occur after AF is due? I just have no clue. I have more tests at home...

BoBo90 · 06/06/2016 13:25

That is supposed to say 'can you do another test' X

OP posts:
BoBo90 · 06/06/2016 13:24

Could be implantation? An you do another test Lou? X

Afternoon ladies. I need some advice.

So I came on (so I thought) yesterday morning. I had a little bit of red blood and all day yesterday all I have had is brown blood (no red at all) and there's been hardly anything on my towel (sorry tmi) but even that has been brown and today it's practically stopped. Any ideas?? My boobs have stopped hurting and I have been getting cramps as normal!

Don't know what's going on!!

HighHopes16 · 05/06/2016 10:00

Sorry about AF Cookie & Lou Flowers
Who's next to poas? I'm struggling to keep track of everyone!
Sunny that must've have been really frightening, I wonder if there's ever a time in pregnancy when you feel 100% that everything's going to be ok- do you know what I mean?
I had my first sober night out last night- managed to fool my friends by acting tipsy and pretending to have vodka & mixers but I just had lemonade & lime or orange juice! Smile
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Loulabelle1990 · 05/06/2016 09:33

Morning ladies!

So AF showed up this morning. Not impressed. Onwards and upwards to cycle 5! Can't complain really, although I am now onto cycle 5, last cycle was our first month properly "trying". Fx for this cycle! Going to start taking seven seas too.

How is everyone else? Sorry to hear of your pains sunny. Any twinge etc you get I get you immediately think something is wrong - must be so worrying and hard for you! It's so lovely everyone knows now Smile. I might look into those affirmations, they sound good. Everyone needs a bit of positivity in this game!

Johno85 · 05/06/2016 07:30

Hi jj i think my withdrawal AF was only 2 days, and 7 months after coming off bc my normal AF is 3-4 days max and much lighter than before. Poor you with the migraines- I suffer really bad with them (but actually less
Post pillSmile) so know what a relief having less is.

Anyone had ff update itself after you've put in a certain amount of bbt? I was like no don't change my ov date!!!! Envy attached a chart for the boffins. Am now cycle day 26. And as you can tell, no idea how many dpo I am !

Sunnydays321 · 05/06/2016 07:23

Loulabelle, sorry about bfn. How did you confirm ov this month? Like someone else said, if it was opk, you might only be 10-11dpo so might just be too early. It's good news that af isn't here.

Oh cookie, sorry about crappy af turning up, although probably better to do it day of wedding than next morning so you can have a good old drinkie!! Would have been rubbish if you had stayed sober and hopeful and then she pitched up the next day. And I spent hours manically googling luteal phase defects as mine were generally 7-10 days. I think I tried b vitamin complex for the short luteal phase, continued Angus and tried inositol (but that was for pcos) and I did get preggers but might have been a coincidence. There is a thread for short luteal phases.

Jjspoon, my periods were shorted and lighter post pill too. Although after the 1st couple they went back to crazy painful and did get a little longer. It took us 6 months to get up the duff.

I had a bit of a freak out day yesterday. We had such a nice couple of days after the scan, enjoying telling people etc. and I felt really chilled out about everything. And then yesterday at work I had some pain in my pelvis (kind of in my cervix) and in my back while I was at work. And I totally freaked out again. I think it feels like it's now public knowledge and we keep getting excited texts from people... So now if something happened we would have to share that news with everyone too. Just a bit overwhelming I guess. And way I looked up some positive pregnancy affirmations last night and feel so much better. They sound a bit hippy but they helped so I'm going to read them every day. And the pain has gone now so I know I was worrying about nothing. There are some nice affirmations online about fertility and conception too if it's anyone's cup of tea. I was doing fertility meditation when I got pregnant because I was starting to stress myself out about the pcos/short luteal phase/8 week cycles. Definitely helped to chill me out.

Anyways, must go to work. Have a nice day ladies xx

BoBo90 · 04/06/2016 16:13

Sorry about bfn Lou but could be too early! Remember the egg can release 2 days after positive Opk/when you think you ovulated! Which makes you just 11dpo! Try again tomorrow lovely

Cookie that's sucks!!! At least you can get your drink on at the wedding! I'm very jealous I love weddings but no one I know will get married 😞
Was is definitely af Hun and not implantation?

Jj my periods post pill have only been three days of heavy bleeding followed by brown spotting whereas pre-pill they lasted a whole week so I think it's normal :)

Jjspoon · 04/06/2016 14:03

Congrats highhopes!!!

My af only lasted 3 days and now stopped again so that's very odd... anyone else have a very short one first time? I expected it to be very heavy and long as that's the reason I first went on the pill age 15 they were awful. On the plus side when I was on the pill I had a migraine every time I got AF and not even a slight headache this time!

How many cycles did it take the other resident preggos?

ClaireSunflower · 04/06/2016 13:43

Sorry to hear you're working all weekend sunny and an 8 day stretch is hard work! Hope you get s nice rest at the end of it.

cookie glad you are feeling better and no more pain and sorry AF showed up hun. You've had a rough time of it this week. I hope you enjoy the wedding though and at least this crappy cycle is over with and the next one will hopefully be much easier. It's a difficult business this ttc malarkey isn't it?!

loula fingers crossed it's just too early and no AF is a good sign so far. Some people just take a while for the hcg to build up. I've heard of people not getting a bfp on frers until 18dpo so there is still hope!

Cookie22 · 04/06/2016 11:26

Sorry to hear about the bfn Loula but hopefully it's just too soon! Test again in a few days Mrs!

Aw poor you Sunny! 8 day stretch sounds tough! I don't think I could summon the energy to work 8 days solid, I just live for my weekends and holidays!

Well woke up feeling amazingly better today. I've got a wedding to go to so I went and got my hair and make up done, just about to change into my outfit and guess who rocks up.... AF! Can't believe it. Well actually, I can! Feel crap at how rubbish I've felt this past week and I can't even be rewarded with a bfp! 8day luteal phase too, bah! I'm getting royally pissed today! Xx
