Yay bobo! Now wouldn't that be a near perfect Cycle length! And all things crossed it comes to a BFP. Lucky mr Bobo is in for a treat this weekend lol.

Don't be sorry about the opk's. I'm feeling my will power fading already before my cold turkey cycle

So temped a little later than normal as away and had a lie in. Temp has spiked back up above 37! Now it may be because I bbt later or had a few drinks last night. But given my 11 day LP I'm about 10 dpo already so just gotta hang in there a couple more days and test. Grin

sarah I'm an absolute fish when it comes to water (and maybe alcohol Blush), I also have coffee in the day and I've never thought twice about it when it comes to poas or opk.

Sorry to hear about the bfn sparkle. Hugs for you.

So new thread title........

Ttc, the witch and poas

Ttc without ease, loopy length cycles, post pill poas and everything in between.

And that's me done. Oh and poas if no AF by Monday. Currently Cycle day 36

Xxx

sarahhh1984 · 16/07/2016 07:56

Gutted for you sparkle. Perhaps a week away from testing and getting some relaxation in is exactly what you need? Then come back refreshed and test then if af hasn't come?

BoBo90 · 16/07/2016 07:46

Aw sparkle thats poo! If af doesn't arrive test again my sweet! I think it's too early for pregnancy related sickness so maybe you have a bad bug. Take some medicine with you on hol, you don't want to feel ill all through it xxxx

That's brilliant bobo!

Tested this morning with a frer and it's a bfn. No idea what's going on I have been sick every day for the past 5 days, felt nauseous most of the day. Cd33, and opk was on cd16.
Of on holiday for a week so I'm not sure if I'll test when away or just wait now. Absolutely gutted

BoBo90 · 15/07/2016 19:43

Ten minutes after that last message I got pretty bad cramps! I know I'm on cold turkey but thought I would just check because of the pain (and I had 2 opks left in the house 😆 Should have got dh to hide them) and I get this!!!
Ten days earlier than normal 😱! If everything works properly this cycle will be the shortest yet and its totally natural!!

So glad your dr was helpful cookie!! Must be great to know your being checked! I'd love to have a scan to make sure everything ok in there 😄 Have a fantastic holiday my lovely 🌴🍹

I'm cd 16, had a little bit of Ewcm last 2 days which I wasn't expecting as its way to early for ov! No cramps/pains yet so think I still have a little wait 😄

Now! Ladies! We seem to be fast approaching the end of our thread 😱 So we are going to need a new thread title!! Let's hear some suggestions 😉 ???

Looks like a line to me too sparkle! Let us know how you get on when you test again!

Sarah I wouldn't have thought drinking lots the day before should matter too much either to be honest. If you worried then maybe try to limit your water intake a bit just in case maybe?

I'm glad your doc were helpful cookie! Is that an ultrasound of your ovaries? Hopefully that's got the ball rolling for you on a road to a BFP! Have a lovely holiday in Portugal lovely xx

Could be pregnancy symptoms pesky, or the flu or your body playing tricks on you! I get new ad symptoms every month it seems lol!

Welcome star xxx

sarahhh1984 · 15/07/2016 17:46

Thanks, pesky, that was my thought too. Just wanted another opinion!

Welcome Star!

sparkle789 · 15/07/2016 14:09

I'm glad the dr was helpful cookie, and they are going to investigate.

Welcome to the thread staron.

Newbie here!
I am 30. We decided to TTC #1 and I took my last pill on Monday. Contraception was Marvelon/Gedarel.

I had just taken 3 from a new pill packet when we decided to start trying and my normal withdrawal bleed had just finished on Friday just gone, so not expecting another withdrawal bleed as such.

Today and yesterday have had some spotting and cramping along the left hand side of my abdomen, along with increase in libido.

I have been looking forward to the libido increase as having been on the pill just a year, the difference from before that was noticable .

Fingers crossed for all you ladies.

I have fear of fertility issues as I have never had normal periods and have gone some time without periods also, unless I have been on the pill which is nothing to go by.

Secretly hoping the spotting and cramping is me ovulating and that would be a good start!

peskyfeelings · 15/07/2016 13:11

I'm no expert sarahhh1984 but I wouldn't have thought the amount you drink the day before would matter. If you've been holding it in all night then it should be pretty concentrated.

So glad your doctor was helpful Cookie22 It's such a good feeling when you feel you're been listened to. Hope the ultrasound gets to the bottom of things. Have a great time in Portugal.

Today I am exhausted and cannot even get out of bed! I slept nearly all day yesterday as well. My temp really, really dipped this morning as well (after been really high yesterday morning) I'm 7DPO, but trying not to read too much into it. It could just be flu making me feel ill? I'm so hot and head achy as well. Urgh!

Cookie22 · 15/07/2016 12:14

Oops hit post too soon there! I would totally advise anyone with worries to just head to the doctor, even if it is less (or slightly less) than a year you have been trying for! I feel like a weight has been lifted a bit knowing something is being done now. Anyways, I hope all you lovelies are well!! Sparkle, I can totally see a line! Fx for you!

I'm off on holiday to Portugal tomorrow for a week. Looking forward to some rest and relaxation! Baby dust to you all! Xx

Cookie22 · 15/07/2016 12:12

Hi everyone, sorry haven't been on much. Been on my usual downer since AF arrived last week! Purple I went to the docs yesterday and she was a bit more helpful than the last doctor. I mentioned the luteal phase but she wasn't overly concerned about that. She was more concerned about the painful ov symptoms so I'm await referral for an ultrasound! Wish I'd gone sooner to be honest. She did say if all was normal that I should have conceived by now, which worried me!

sarahhh1984 · 15/07/2016 11:20

Not sure anyone will be able to answer this but all thoughts are welcome. I plan on testing with fmu on Sunday (assuming af doesn't make an appearance first) but the thing is I tend to drink a lot of water pretty much every day. I usually go for the recommended 8 glasses plus I have some hot drinks through the day too.

Will this affect fmu? Should I perhaps drink a bit less on Saturday (or at least Saturday afternoon/evening) to make sure Sunday's fmu is as undiluted as possible? Or will fmu be OK no matter what?

As I said, not sure if anyone will be able to advise but thought I'd ask as you never know!

Purpleviola14 · 15/07/2016 11:18

Thanks sparkle.
I can def see a faint line, fx for you girl xx

BoBo90 · 15/07/2016 11:07

I see a second line too 😄😄 Oooh so exciting!!! You could use the other one but if you think you will doubt it in case it's faulty maybe just buy some new ones anyway so when that lines pops up tomorrow you know it's definitely a line!!! X

OP posts:
sparkle789 · 15/07/2016 09:57

That's what I can see glad I'm not imagining things. I'll retest tomorrow. It's frustrating I just want to know! ive still got one out of that pack left, should I use that or buy new ones in case it's a dodgy batch?

sarahhh1984 · 15/07/2016 09:55

I can definitely see two faint lines as well. Agree with the others that you should perhaps retest. Fx for you! x

marmitetoast1 · 15/07/2016 09:41

I can see two faint lines next to the test line too - definitely retest! Maybe with a Frer?

peskyfeelings · 15/07/2016 08:41

I'm sure I can see two very faint lines sparkle?

Possibly a dodgy test, but I would retest anyway. You never know!😊

sparkle789 · 15/07/2016 08:15

Sorry af arrived purple.

Tested today and I can't tell!! There seems to be something on the test side but I don't know if it looks right. So not sure if it's positive or a dodgy test.
I've added a photo hopefully it can be seen on it. Any ideas?

Johno85 · 15/07/2016 07:21

Morning all. Just thought I'd add a quick post as off to Leeds for a long weekend.

Trying really not to symptom spot before AF or POAS; whichever comes first! I did have a bbt dip today at what I think is 9dpo, so decided not to test.

It's gone down to 36.6 which is well above coverline but an average figure for me the day before AF Starts. So it's either the witch is on her way, or an implantation dip. If AF doesn't show this weekend I'll poas Sunday or Monday.

Did any of our resident preggos have an implantation dip, and if so, at how many dpo?

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

Purpleviola14 · 14/07/2016 22:42

Cookie did you go to the docs? My luteal phase was only 9 days too. :( x

Purpleviola14 · 14/07/2016 19:55

Hi girls,

Haven't been on here much as I've been so busy, but AF came today with a vengeance.
So onwards and upwards to cycle 3. Sigh.

Hope everyone is ok X

SummerHopin · 14/07/2016 14:33

Thanks Sarahhh, best of luck to you and Sparkle too
