I recently hear some really good news from a friend, I hope you won't mind me sharing. She is 40 this year, and after many years trying and problems she is finally pregnant on the 4th IVF.

IVF certainly isn't an easy option, but i am starting to hear more successful outcomes than unsuccessful. fx and best wishes to anyone who chooses this route.

I think I have hopefully stopped bleeding too... I seem to be ok physically just this damned headache I cannot shake... Although I did have a lot of womble/stomach pains last week.

You are right there are no guarantees so all you can do is try and hope.

Kwick I only stopped spotting yesterday. I have no idea when to expect af either.

I keep imagining IVF to be the answer to everything. I realise that it's not exactly a guarantee of success and I think I need to start being realistic.

I bought multivitamins today in an attempt to get my body healthy. The miscarriage really knocked me about physically.

Welcome finding, so sorry for yr loss. I had a loss at 11 weeks (and at 7) last year and it was hard. Look after yourself. xx

Bath, sorry AF arrived and hope the test results are ok, we found that vitamins can make a big difference to the guys (zinc helps) so things can improve with time xx

I'm now sitting tight in the tww (although it's a nearly three week wait as I have a long Luteul phase) pretty sure i ovulated Friday, not holding out much hope though! X

I lost my baby at 8 weeks - I can only imagine how much harder 11 weeks must be. I too want to get on with IVF (again) - but am still spotting after miscarriage.

Any idea how soon AF likely to arrive?

I'm waiting for my first af since I miscarried at 11 weeks almost a fortnight ago.

Age: 36
TTC: no. 1
Cycle: over 9 years.

I've had clomid and had two stimulated IUIs. My last IUI was cancelled as I ovulated before the procedure but that's the one when we ended up conceiving naturally.

We were gutted to miscarry but I'm desperate to try again as soon as possible. I really feel that time is running out and sometimes I wake up in the night in a panic about it all.

We have an appointment with the specialist at the end of June and are hoping to be given the go ahead for IVF.

Both me and hubby are all OK as far as the previous tests showed. Probably have more tests I guess. Just need to wait and see what the specialist says. I am hoping that we can try iui as I believe this is the cheaper option, although I googled it and the success rate wasn't great so makes me nervous. Might struggle to afford full on ivf if we need it. Will have to wait and see what our actual options are.

I keep seeing DTD mentioned. What does that mean?

OH's SA went well in that it was delevered to the hospital. Have to wait 2-3 weeks for results.

I'm CD25 today and expect period will arrive today

Bought a year subscription to fertility friend yesterday. Was reduced to £18 for the year.

Only got highs (flashing smilies) this month so don't even now if I ovulated

Depending on results of SA - if they're the same as before I think our first step might be to See the DR Ramsey in London. Seen him recommended for male issues a lot on other threads. Anyone here any experience?

Just reading and catching up on the thread comments. I used the pregnancy band things when I was pregnant. A god send when I had a wedding do to go to and jeans would not just do up. Attached the band and no one had a clue. Useful for the 12 week wait, before first scan and telling people.

Also, I am new to keeping a proper watch on my cycle and all. I have downloaded a couple apps. I don't fancy spending out on opk's and I am too forgetful for temping. I am hoping the all will be enough to help.

Hello ladies. I am 37, I have a little boy that is 4, struggled to conceive him, but did happen naturally. I have now been TTC since the august after he was born, so pretty much 4 years. I have been on clomid, but that did not work. We are now looking into other help, which we will have to pay for. I have just had some blood tests, then will have my first meeting with the specialist in a couple weeks. Feeling nervous, but hopeful.

evergreen the milk thing is as follows: drink loads of organic whole milk from AF to ovulation, drink normal amounts during 2ww so as not to impact implantation.
I did stimulated IVF last time - so loads of drugs to stimulate follicle growth and before that loads of drugs to suppress follicle growth. I also had to take lots of progesterone after egg transfer including daily intramuscular injections - apparently I will not need as much with natural ivf as body more ready.

I had my first since September yesterday - just one glass of Rioja.... And have had headache all night and still there.... Jumping right back on wagon!

So the bump band does not support the fat pregnancy, just provides modesty cover?

I saw my consultant yesterday and I am going to do natural IVF from my second AF - God knows when that will be as I am still bleeding after op 😕
She also prescibed DHEA for me - so add that to the list above!

I was talking to my mum last night about the foods I should eat - like avocado and so on and I feel like I have overdosed and really do not fancy anymore... Never could stand walnuts... Oh well I shall just lie back and think of England!
