Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Weird, I posted here last night about insta Confused I like it, had it for years, but rarely post. I'm a Twitter girl me, ever since I left FB.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 16/05/2016 22:16

Anyone an instagrammer? I'm trying to get my head round social media a bit better! I want more friends! Grin

Thanks Hep and Vix - hmm...definitely think I missed my chance. I was so out of the TTC zone after my period I genuinely didn't even think about it 'til a couple of days afterwards! Gah.

vixarooni · 16/05/2016 21:37

I ovulated early last month (not that early) but going by my ewcm it was defo about 6 days after. My words of wisdom is do it as soon as you spot it!

vixarooni · 16/05/2016 21:32

kav Id ruled myself out completely. Literally did it once, followed by a time the oh wanted it and I didn't, but did anyway. Gave up taking vits etc so anything is possible!

bluebird3 · 16/05/2016 21:31

Thanks for the info moose. Gonna give it a try tomorrow!

Good luck on your scans jam and stark! I'm sure it will be an amazing experience to see your little beans.

Sorry for everyone af got.

Where's orchard? Any news?

I'm also in limbo land but have another 8 days to wait. The tww is sooooo loooong.

Jamjar12 · 16/05/2016 21:26

Lol Stark, it's really hard not to think about it isn't it! Honestly, I think that babies take over your life even from the moment you start thinking about trying for one! This is it now, for the rest of our lives!

HepKestrel · 16/05/2016 20:51

No wisdom, but I had a positive opk on cd12 a couple cycles back. So random early ovulation can happen?

SkyLucy · 16/05/2016 20:11

Evening all, just caught up on all the good news, fabulous!

Quick Q - does anyone have any experience/knowledge about early ovulation? I have 31 day cycles and this month, after a lovely NINE day period, noticed a lot of EWCM on days 11/12 (soz for TMI). None since, and a bit gutted because we didn't DTD then. Making up for it now (Blush), but think we've missed the boat! Any words of wisdom?

SuchaJem · 16/05/2016 19:51

We try to follow Low GI principles stark, I think it's a sensible way to eat too. Occasional white bread and pasta and sugary goods and booze sneak in though!

Good good luuuuuuck good luck stark and jam let us know how you get on xx

StarkyTheDirewolf · 16/05/2016 19:30

Gi diet (glycemic index) is brilliant. It's not so much of a diet but Dh and I follow it for the most part unconsciously and it's fantastic. Have been using the recipes for about 10 years.

Good luck jam mines on Friday. Bored of waiting now. My heart goes in my throat a bit whenever I think about it so I'm avoiding brain activity this week. not hard for me

Jem and moose you may have looked into it more then me but I was thinking about 5:2 and then stopped as I thought I read it can affect ovulation. INstead I started following slimming world which was working well until I started pretending to follow it and ignoring all the rules because I started running, hmm.

Jamjar12 · 16/05/2016 19:04

Congrats vix! That's a lovely line on the top test you used! Took me several days to get it that strong on an IC! So pleased for you.

Got my 12 week scan tomorrow and feeling slightly terrified!

Cthulhoo · 16/05/2016 18:49

Ooh I've got some list work to do Confused

Lanzarote sounds lovely celi! Sorry about AF though and better luck next month

alice think I'll be excited if no cramps by Thursday too. Fx

Hello moose you make 5:2 sound quite attractive! Maybe I'll give it a go. I keep thinking about just reducing portion size generally but not actually doing it.

kav hope the acupuncture does the trick. I've had it for shin splints and the needles didn't bother me either

Hello ema! I convinced myself of super pregnancy smelling powers last month and have had nausea this month. They feel so real at the time! Fx for bfp for you this week.

I'm really 50/50 now. Not really any symptoms today other than the boobs. Going to try and hold out until Friday.

Ni4444 · 16/05/2016 18:31

Hep I had serious thirst and the sore side boobs, hardly any cramping. That was all I think

emalady · 16/05/2016 18:18

Hello all, been off for a bit but back as I'm 2wwing and going a little bit mental, its been a few cycles now but I was positive about this month, plenty of DTD in ISW and generally feeling good. Have a wedding at the weekend, not only are people likely to notice if I'm not drinking - partially as I spotted 2 of them from one weak pimms and a missed cup of tea but most of the food is a bit dodgy (raw oysters, soft cheese, pate), Ovia managed to convince me I should test today despite not being due for another 2 days, obviously got a BFN. Going a bit mad, desperately want my BFP but also would not be the best timing. Just want to know ARGH! Finding it more difficult than usual to keep it together at the moment. Also forgot to call for my day 21 blood results as I am off work so forgot it was monday. Oops. Sorry for getting excessively ranty - probably a sign that AF is on her wicked way.

Did manage to convince myself that I hd pregnancy elated nausea and sore boobs and super smell the other day but then realised I was taking drink til its pink a little to seriously and was just hung over and possibly a little bruised from some drunken DTD. Well done me!

Congrats to all the BFPs I have missed! Despite the ranting really happy for you guys!

Feefeefs · 16/05/2016 17:43

Congratulations vix!!!

No IB here hep

kavanaughkj · 16/05/2016 16:47

Hugs to celizabe, sorry AF got you.

Congrats vix! I'm hoping I have your luck as there's been very little DTD'ing going on in our household this month. I have virtually zero hope of anything happening as both DH and I have been properly ill the last few days with a nasty groggy illness that bears more than a passing resemblance to mono. Hoping it's not that, but needless to say, DH got it first and right on top of my FW. Feeling a tad guilty now for having a moan about him not being up to duties on here because when the bug hit me I was totally wiped out for days. Not expecting any egg to find my body a comfortable host at the moment. On the positive side, it should be my least neurotic TWW since we started TTC.

Had a lovely Sunday out in the sun, and had an appointment at an acupuncturist which I'm hoping will help me - it's time to relax if nothing else. Going for weekly sessions and keeping my fingers crossed! My first time going and I wasn't sure what to expect - huuuuge long medical history first and then a nice comfy bed to rest on. Barely felt the needles at all but looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference ...

Mooseville · 16/05/2016 15:37

Brilliant news vix and maya

skip I totally feel like you've got a stow away coming along on your holiday!
I'm feeling good things for you too jem. Fingers crossed my psychic senses are all in working order!
Very calm TWW here since we barely managed to do it! Not got any hopes for this month - due 23rd/24th...

bluebird me and DP did the 5:2 last year and we loved it. Yes, the two days are hard but then you can guilt free enjoy food the rest of the time (within moderation!!!) I did that along with swimming twice a week and a lost a steady pound a week, but also just felt generally healthier!!
Fast forward a year and I've put it all back on, but purely only because we stopped doing it! We're doing a low carb detox this week and next and then we've agreed we're going back to the 5:2.

AliceScarlett · 16/05/2016 14:54

Congratulations Vix lovely lines Smile

Jem I'm feeling fine, no symptoms, expected my usual pre AF cramps this morning but nothing. I'll start to get excited if I've had no cramps by Thursday. I do not want to see cycle 6 with bleeding between AF Angry

HepKestrel · 16/05/2016 14:16

sorry for AF celizbe
Fishy I deliberately only have one poas at home, and will also not use it until/if i am properly late.

puts kettle on in waiting room

vixarooni · 16/05/2016 13:37

And nausea, not very nice yesterday but settled down now. We are both a bit cautious as we don't want to get over excited!

What is funny is that last month we barely did it and I was very much fook it. Wish I could do that all the time!

SuchaJem · 16/05/2016 13:09

/puts hand up! I'm here Smile

That's so lovely may glad to hear all going well

That sounds like an awesome trip skip!
