Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Plodding along in this crazy conception battle! Love having this thread as somewhere to talk about it all! Pretty sure I'm out this month as only DTD once this month over intense sex week due to a course. Has taken a few months, but DP now seems more on board and not as petrified. I may have told him he can have a PS4 once I'm knocked up which seems to have helped his enthusiasm Next month I'm planning an every other day strategy!!!

Ni4444 · 17/04/2016 14:55

Avoiding Peas? What's that all about Alice??

Oh Stark anxiety is such a pain. But you're right, taking it one day at a time, looking after yourself and redirecting your attention whenever you spot the worry thoughts coming in the key to surviving it. Have you any new projects that you're working on atm?

AliceScarlett · 17/04/2016 14:44

Starky I'm so pleased for you Smile I read your blog the other day. Twas interesting. Told DH about the poo checking incident, he said you've got a brave one there Grin

1 week to go, just waiting for the classic AF style slight cramps that I seem to get the week leading up to AF.

Where's the stats? Kat?

Also, random question, Us anyone else avoiding peas and NSAIDs? Or is this just me being paranoid?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/04/2016 14:34

ni we decided really early on that we would wait until after the 12 week scan to tell. I thought I'd have told my dsis immediately, and my mum, but I've held back because im so scared of something going wrong, it would upset my sister beyond words and I don't want to do that to her (she's younger and dying to be an auntie, doesn't even know we were trying.)

Same sort of goes for my friends, they live the other side of the country so it seemed pointless. Plus I'm still having to take it a day at a time. I can't believe I'll get as far as 12 weeks, my anxiety is starting to go a bit haywire this week. Really trying hard to keep calm and breathe deep. Dh is aware though so is keeping a close eye on me and keeps bringing me treats!

This will be a lucky thread. I can feels it in my bones!

Cycle #3, CD 15. Thinking I'm 1 DPO but Fertility Friend is still deciding whether or not that's the case. DTD a few times over the last few days so here's hoping :) Am feeling a little more laid back this cycle than the previous 2 at least; the first 2 months I found it hard to think of anything else.

Currently sitting next to Starky on this crazy rollercoaster with an 8+3 bean growing away inside, making me pukey and grumpy. However, I've had to tell work because of time tabling for school next year and just told both sets of parents this week. My mum is already chomping at the bit to buy stuff! Got upduffed on cycle 4 which felt like forever of trying so understand what y'all are going through.

Really hoping this is a lucky thread for everyone still waiting for their BFPs!

5tardusty · 17/04/2016 13:59

Hello ni yes, thankfully i did get pregnant on cycle 2, though in hindsight we missed ovulation in cycle 1 so didn't give ourselves the best chance first go round (rookie errors Grin) I'm trying to be positive about that, but a little worried that my expectations will be high for a quick upduff, as much as i try to manage them!

I just hope i get lucky before my original due date really :(.

Ni4444 · 17/04/2016 13:21

5tar I'm so sorry about mmc. Sending lots of love your way. You got upduffed really quickly, right? Hope you get a quick run this time too!!

Stark you haven't told anyone?? How are you managing to do that? I'd have to sellotape my mouth closed...and I'd still be like a charades player acting it out!!
