Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

neon sorry to hear you are still stuck in limboland. I made it to cd39 once so I completely understand how you are feeling.

how long is your normal cycle?

I think if you are more than 7-10days late it is completely appropriate to make a gp appointment.

theneonninja · 23/04/2016 12:19

Unfortunately no good news for you all today. Tested again this morning, BFN, still no AF. Not a clue what's happening...

SuchaJem · 23/04/2016 11:03

fishy well done with your run, it feels good doesn't it? I'll check out that YouTube yoga.

pug hope that was a nice implantation cramp!

Hi crazycat hope AF stays away.

neon - cd40, gosh that's a long cycle. I hope you are late for a good reason!

Thanks feefs I really did get my hopes up again. Will try to be more cautious this cycle xx

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 09:59

Sorry about AF such. She really messed you about this month!

Evergreen17 · 23/04/2016 08:57

Island what kind of scan was that? They did an transvaginal for me but defo didnt see in that much detail!
Bluebird I agree with the boring Grinit was exciting for the first 4 week.
Jem I agree, trying to relax a lot more Smile
Pug that sounds really positive!!!! Everything crossed for you!!!
Kwick how are you doing my lovely?

Evergreen17 · 23/04/2016 08:51

Kavana this is how I deal with the 2wws these days:
I don't.
After many unsuccessful cycles I just go through it knowing that AF will come. No symptom spotting, no delusion.
I say this because I am 7dpo, ask me in two weeks and I will probably be crazy as well Grin

Ni4444 · 22/04/2016 22:24

Yes, what Pug said! Little love affair with Adriene!!

Kav if you really do want reality...I had two sudden high temps last months...but then it came down. Keep busy until AF is due as best you can because things are so uncertain until then. When are you due to test again?

Ni4444 · 22/04/2016 22:19

Lovely try Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. She is excellent! She does a 30day programme for free...I started it...for 2weeks.. But have got distracted! I agree ladies I'm feeling so pudgy right now. I want to get back to serious exercise or dieting, but I'm so worried it will impact ttc! Bloody pain! We managed to dtd this morning though so have a chance, though not much.
Catching up....

theneonninja · 22/04/2016 21:49

I've just downloaded ovia after realising that Kindara was not coping with my irregular cycles as it seems to just average everything. I have input all my data for these 4 cycles and she had a bit of a fit trying to work me out especially after I put in that my last cycle was 28 days. Good news though, she thinks we DTD during the fertile window but unfortunately she is now trying to make me all hopeful about the possibility of a BFP telling me I'm super late (she reckons O was about 19 days ago).

CD40 today, had a few cramps today but I'm unsure whether I just need a big fart or if AF might be on the way. OH is just getting over a nasty stomach bug so maybe I'm just getting a milder version of it!

CrazyCatLady2 · 22/04/2016 21:44

Hi ladies, just catching up on this weeks posts and noticed new thread here Smile

kwick - so sorry to hear your sad news Flowers

AF is due tomorrow, think she is already on her way so pretty sure I will be on the May bus - on to cycle 3 for me

LovelyFishy · 22/04/2016 21:36

Pug I have two very curious kitties. My yoga mat also doubles as their play tunnel when it's rolled up so trying to excersise when they're around is always fun!

Those signs do sound promising! I'll try not to lead you down the path of madness, but yay? Grin

Island Greece sounds lovely!! DH and I are looking at booking a last minute get-away next month (over cycle 10's fertile window) and it's a toss up between Greece and Italy. Hopefully baby-making vacations are just what the doctor ordered!

Pugmummy87 · 22/04/2016 21:26

kav distracting yourself as much as possible! Although I find posting my symptoms on here and getting sensible answers back helps to put it all in perspective. I would go a bit crazy otherwise!

Island that sounds really positive, I hope you have a lovely holiday to Greece and come back with more than a sun tan!

Fishy when I actually get around to doing yoga (not easy with 2 pugs who want to know why you are in such a strange position) I watch 'Yoga with Adriene' on YouTube. She's great and she has a ton of videos on her channel.

As for me, I woke up this morning and as I was letting the dogs out to do a wee I was overcome with this severe cramping in my lower abdomen that took my breath away. It only lasted for about a minute and then stopped. I've also noticed a slight tinge of brown to my cm today.
So either AF is on her way (5 days late) or as I suspect I am only 7dpo and maybe that pain could have been implantation?
Would be unexpected as we only dtd 2 days after my random positive opk last week.

Or of course it could just be a random pain!

LovelyFishy · 22/04/2016 21:01

I just went running this evening for the first time this year! Feeling pretty pleased with myself right now but probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. Planning on doing some YouTube yoga tomorrow as my silly shifts don't allow me to go to classes. Does anyone habe any suggestions on a good vid?

SuchaJem · 22/04/2016 19:28

kav distraction distraction distraction! Stay busy. The temp thing sounds positive from what little I know about charting. Fx

Good luck with your egg in Greece island glad to hear your appointment went well.

I've decided my learning from cycle 4 was Stress Is Not Your Friend. I had all that mental stress with the job offer and then moved house. Cycle 5 is going to be about Zen Halo

Now then. Swim and yoga tomorrow anyone?

Hope you all have lovely weekends lined up xxx

bluebird3 · 22/04/2016 19:28

kav I'm also crazy symptom spotting. I thought I was passed this. I usually get sore boobs about 8-9 dpo. They've gone sore yesterday which is only 4-5dpo. Not certain as I didn't opk this month. Also had some cramping yesterday that was a little weird, sort of a pulling sensation. It's not a lot, but enough to get my hopes up a little. I don't like to do that anymore as its been 13 cycles of disappointment.

Ttc is just so boring after awhile. Sometimes it's hard to post because there isn't really anything to say. It's still heartbreaking when af comes but I'm so tired of the cycles of af, dtd, tww repeat. Maybe some of you who've been trying a few months are feeling that as well.

Looking forward to the next thread bfp. We need some good news! Smile

HepKestrel · 22/04/2016 17:23

I have friends comment that I have lost weight. I have to make excuses.... I lost the weight I put on when I went on the pill. Clearly I don't want to advertise the reason for the weight loss.

In my past I was borderline/unhealthily underweight so I am slightly sensitive about the issue.

We just all have to stay healthy... both mentally and physically. It all feeds in ....

AliceScarlett · 22/04/2016 17:16

I've also gained half a stone, Gr.

Good luck IslandGirl, will you be on an island? Maybe that's fate.

Kavana I just try and keep as busy as possible in the 2ww. I just notice I'm thinking about it and direct my attention everywhere because the window of opportunity is over for that cycle and I'm not in control of anything embryo related.... That's what I tell myself, it doesn't always work though.

Evergreen17 · 22/04/2016 16:44

Kat can I be next please??! GrinGrin
Well some people really get pregnant super easily and I just wonder how on earth do we have an overpopulated planet??!!! It is so hard for us lot!

Evergreen17 · 22/04/2016 16:42

Damn! Sorry alice!
Snow! What's up?!GrinGrin
May I am gaining more weight during this TTC business than Ever Envy

Evergreen17 · 22/04/2016 16:36

Inspector did you miss that little tip? Genius! Grinpoas on the go

islandgirl99 · 22/04/2016 16:35

Hello again all, I've been awol lately as been horribly busy with work so just been catching up on all I've missed since we moved to the new thread.

kwick i'm gutted for you, you've been on my mind this last week so I'm really sorry to hear your sad news. Hope you're looking after yourself and getting all the help, information & support you need from the EPU, i've always found them to be great so i hope you're finding the same. Big hugs to you Flowers

starky I've said it before and i'll say it again - please don't leave us! It really wouldn't be the same without you.

orchard / kav no idea what program you're talking about but i'm loving this biologically 27 stuff, i think i might take that as my new mantra!

Anyway, stats below. Was back at the hospital this morning for an ultrasound to check my lady parts and was told again that everything is normal. I know i should be pleased by that but i just keep thinking if everything's normal why am i not upduffed yet???! Was pretty cool though cos during the scan she was checking my ovaries and was pointing out the follicles all hanging around in my left ovary then went on to the right ovary and we could see a nice big fat egg - maybe this will be the one! We're off on hols to Greece tomorrow, all inclusive so there will be lots of wine and food, and with any luck i'll maybe be coming back with more than just a sun tan....

Age 38 (but it doesn't matter now that i'm biologically only 27 Grin)
Cycle 9 (sigh)
TTC #1
CD 11 i think

kavanaughkj · 22/04/2016 14:52

Starky, you're not allowed to leave. Having a few upduffed ladies in here helps give the rest of us hope.

Anybody got any suggestions on how to make a week go faster? This TWW is crawling and I'm only halfway through it. My body seems determined to make me nutso ... I have sort-of-cramps that I'm not convinced actually ARE cramps, they might just be me wishing for signs. I've had tender boobs and I could have sworn the other day my nipples were darker, but then I'd just been exercising pretty vigorously and they were probably sore from rubbing against my sports bra.

And then this morning. Temp has gone WAY higher than I've ever seen it before. If it weren't for the fact that FF decided my ov date was 2 days later and moved it, I would be 7 DPO right now (I personally think I am, and am not 5 DPO like it seems to think). Chart is looking like it might go tri-phasic for the first time ever and I am trying not to get too excited.

A big part of me knows pretty much all of this is probably in my head. I want to be realistic but at the same time I want to be positive mentally as well - I don't feel as ancient as the number my birth date spits back to me and I'm pretty sure I'm physically capable of making a baby. I've never been good with delayed gratification though and I hate not being in control of things ... hence temping, vitamins, changing diet, reading a ton of books ... I guess I should be grateful it at least keeps me occupied.

This post brought to you by TWW crazy lady syndrome - think I might go on a tidying spree this afternoon to take my mind off stuffs.

HepKestrel · 22/04/2016 10:58

Hi all, just checking in . sorry to the those with recent AFs i've missed.
AF has buggered off and I'll start opk-ing again soon. luckily or unluckily I have a lot of distractions with work and home so not thinking about ttc too much at the moment. not sure how this cycle will fit in with OH's availability yet.

I love the hairy bikers recipes too pug, good luck with their diet

neon ooh hope AF stays away and you are the bfp to break the spell!

kat I'll post the list but it's probably a bit out of date. Would you like to take charge of it again?

inspector you are so sweet, and you are right, 5 months is not that long. I'll emerge from my funk in a day or too.
