Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Totally with you on the "let's do more excersise" attitude Twinky! Didn't get to do yoga yesterday as DH forgot his wallet so I had to leave for work early to drop it off! However did take a walk during my meal break. I've also started using My Fitness Pal - I appear to have picked up a few bad habits recently so I'm trying to pay more attention to what I eat!

twinkydink · 24/04/2016 09:19

Congrats mayago!!

Fishy I started EPO this cycle, took one tablet a day from the start of AF till I got my peak O PK on day 9. For the two days after that peak I saw a huge increase in EWCM. I do wonder if it brought my ovulation forward though but I don't know if it affects that!

Happy Sunday to the rest of you. I have just got up and worked out because I've realised my attitude to my body has been awful since I started TTC. I thought sod it I'll be pregnant soon I don't need to lose weight! I go on holiday in three months and I want to be healthy when I go so I am on a get healthy mission. Anyone want to join me? It's not so much about food but more about being active! There will still be wine and chocolate when AF arrives!

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 09:16

Congrats May! We were due a BFP!

Inspector thanks for the reassurance...I need to get my body back before holiday start of June. Work and laziness have been getting in the way! Must start this week.

InspectorPenguin · 24/04/2016 08:59

Congratulations mayago! No doubt about that second line!

mayago · 24/04/2016 08:59

Thank you, this is going to take awhile to sink in I think!

I can't stay away from chocolate, but that's it. No more symptoms than any other month, no noticible implementation bleed. We didn't get to DTD around ovulation as much as normal, so I've had a more relaxed attitude this month thinking it wasn't going to happen.

I just bough EPO from boots in preparation for next month. They have 300mg capsules that I think are small enough for me to swallow!

So.. Weight loss in early pregnancy Blush

StarkyTheDirewolf · 24/04/2016 08:48

Congratulations mayago definetly two lines there!

Feefeefs · 24/04/2016 08:44

I can see it mayago! Congratulations

LovelyFishy · 24/04/2016 08:38

On another note, those of you who have been taking EPO - how much do you take and how quickly did you notice changes in cm?

LovelyFishy · 24/04/2016 08:34

It's faint but I'm pretty sure I see it, congratulations!! Grin

SuchaJem · 24/04/2016 08:21

Hurrah a bfp!! Congratulations mayago Smile have you had any symptoms or inkling ?

mayago · 24/04/2016 08:11

..I don't even know what to say. AF was due yesterday, And I really expected this to be negative. There is a second line here, right???

Thanks inspector that's what I'm hope g

theneonninja · 23/04/2016 23:24

inspector I much prefer how Kindara looks and works and how it charts the data but I did notice that it literally just averaged my cycle length to tell me when AF should arrive and peak day was always 14 day before that. Didn't seem to take anything else into account and change dates based on all data that I'm putting in. Ovia has come out with different dates for everything so far (I put all 4 cycles of Kindara data in) so I'm hoping that it's not just averaging. We shall see if when AF arrives and I can start a new cycle. Going to use both and see what the difference is.

InspectorPenguin · 23/04/2016 22:26

Hi SkyLucy Welcome and good luck for this cycle.

Feefs, I'm no expert but if you were only getting faint lines when you thought you were 17/18 dpo then it sounds pretty likely you were more like 9/10? Try not to stress out too much as it doesn't sound like they were concerned. Probably easier said than done though I realise...

Neon, do you find Ovia any better with irregular cycles? I thought all the apps struggled with them to be honest. I actually switched from Ovia to Kindara as I didn't like Ovia's 'personality' and prefer Kindara's more low-key design. To be honest though I only really use them so that I have my Cycle Day info stored somewhere as I wouldn't have a clue otherwise. Really hope you get out of limbo soon though, it totally sucks.

Pug Fingers crossed for you!

Ni There is never a bad time to exercise! It honestly will not affect your chances of conceiving, nor will any moderate diet - plenty of people get pregnant on 5:2 for example. Not suggesting you should do that, but just want to reassure you that it's okay.

I hope everyone has had a good Saturday. I haven't done much except feel tired and hungover. Had quite a lot to drink last night - definitely not textbook TWW behaviour Blush. I did the same last Saturday too so really must do better next month...

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 21:31

Thanks neonninja

theneonninja · 23/04/2016 21:17

Longest cycle before this was 39days (even that was a lot longer than I was used to) but had all the usual AF cramps with that one. End of CD41 now and nothing to speak of AF cramps-wise since CD34ish. Cycles since starting TTC have been 31, 39 and 28 days.

That's a bit rubbish feef, at least they think that everything is still looking good though. Fingers crossed for your next scan.

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 21:11

I was about 17-18DPO ni. Maybe I just ovulated really late and actually wasn't that many DPO? I had very faint tests for 2-3 days and then darkened

Ni4444 · 23/04/2016 20:55

But how many dpo were you when you found out Feefs ?!

Feefeefs · 23/04/2016 20:41

Went for an early scan today and I though I was 7+4 they've pushed back the dates to "around 5 weeks" only pregnancy sack visible on abdominal scan and they don't do transvaginal scan.

Apparently lovely round pregnancy sack I'm not to stress and re-scan in three weeks.HmmShockConfused.

Schrödingering on acid doesn't even cover it right now. DH is being amazing but I'm just a bit shocked.

Kathrino · 23/04/2016 20:20

Hi SkyLucy, I'm also 32 and TTC #1. Welcome to the madness!

I'm with Ever on the approach to the TWW (for the moment at least). I've stopped tracking anything so have zero idea how far / if I'm in it yet. It's definitely the only way I've found to stay sane.

SkyLucy · 23/04/2016 16:22

Ah thanks Jem, sorry to hear cycle 5's kicked off for you - hope it's accompanied by consolatory treats Wine Wine Wine

SuchaJem · 23/04/2016 15:53

Hello skylucy Smile I'm same age as you and ttc 1 too - just cruised into cycle 5. Welcome on board Wine

IrregularCommentary · 23/04/2016 14:41

Popped my head in here for the first time in ages to see how you're all doing. I hope you're all well and those enduring the tww get a bfp soon x

Kwick, I can't even comprehend what you must be going through. I am so, so sorry that you're going through this. I type with tears in my eyes, I'm absolutely gutted for you. Take care of yourself, I hope you have the rl support you need FlowersFlowersFlowers

SkyLucy · 23/04/2016 14:09

Hi everyone,

I confess I've been lurking for a while, but having (again) found myself going bonkers in the joy that is the TWW I thought it was high time I showed my virtual face - hope it's okay to gatecrash? Thanks for sharing tips/sadness/joy...I really value the openness on here, thanks loves Smile Stats:
