Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Ooh great recommendation crazy! I've always wanted to try zumba!

CrazyCatLady2 · 24/04/2016 18:31

Twinky I've just started doing 'zumba for dummies' from a youtube video, I love it! Smile

Evergreen17 · 24/04/2016 18:20

Twinky I want to join! I am doing the same. I was eating whatever I wanted because a) I thought I would be pregnant by now b) I was upset I wasnt already
But I have been avoiding treats and bad food all week and I will keep it going! And running a bit again Smile
Congrats maya! First BFP for a long time!!!!

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 18:05

Yoga with Adriene!

twinkydink · 24/04/2016 17:48

Awesome news ladies! I think we should share what exercise we manage to do throughout the week so keep each other motivated. Also any good you tube videos please share. I do body coach Hiits but would love to mix it up a bit!

What was the name of the yoga video someone recommended?

Feefeefs · 24/04/2016 17:07

Yeah my cycles are longer too Lillian around 32 days. I think I ovulated day 18/19. Just need to keep reasonably calm now and wait it out I suppose. I have two short weeks in work this week and next week so that should make time go faster and destressing a bit easier!

LillianFullStop · 24/04/2016 16:51

I hope so feefs - it was reassuring that the sonographer said everything looked otherwise fine for a 5.5-6w bean - also I know my cycles are longer than the usual 28 so makes sense if I'd ovulated later than the more common day 14 - how long are your cycles?

Hi jem things well here with the bee - sucking up all my energy though I'm always so tired!

CrazyCatLady2 · 24/04/2016 16:45

Congrats Mayago, great news Smile

Kathrino · 24/04/2016 16:43

Congrats mayago, so lovely to see a BFP!

Theorchard, keeping my FX for your TWW. We never DTD as much as we 'should' but I'm trying to hold on to the hope that, as Jem says, we only need one!

I'm definitely in for twink's healthy regime. We're in the middle of a month long holiday and I started off making lots of healthy choices and feeling much better than I had in months but I've reverted back to my old ways (says the person who is just about to get out of bed and go and buy donuts for breakfast...)

Vix, lovely to see you! I definitely think a relaxed approach is beneficial to my mental health if nothing else and that can only be good. I haven't peed on anything for months!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 24/04/2016 16:36

If it makes anyone feel any better I've just inhaled 6 chocolate hobnobs and I'm going back for more. I'm going to have to employ someone with a tuba to follow me round and play tunes if I carry on.

Flailing wildly between "oh ill have a 6 fruit fresh smoothie" to "get me a bloody big mac NOW!" to "ice cream has become a life/death situation in the last 20 seconds!" Dh is just letting me get on with it.

HepKestrel · 24/04/2016 16:22

twinky i'm in !

me and OH have fallen off the exercise wagon recently, but managed a nice 6 mile walk today ... it snowed!

SkyLucy · 24/04/2016 15:30

Congratulations mayago, lovely to see a stick with two lines on it!!

I'm definitely on board with the fitness pact...I lost 19lbs with weightwatchers (the glamour!) before TTC, but over the past four months I'm creeping back up the scales again. I was hoping DTDing as much as poss would prove to be enough exercise (Wink) but sadly I'm going to have to dig out my trainers again!

ElleSarcasmo · 24/04/2016 14:45

Checking in just to say Kwick I'm so sorry Sad. Thinking of you. Take care of yourself Flowers

Ni4444 · 24/04/2016 14:27

I'm on board Twinky! I need to feel strong and toned again! Definitely recommend my fitness pal-i used it religiously for 6months a couple years back and lost a stone...then used it on and off for a while to help maintain weight.... I haven't used it in a long time so obviously things have been creeping back!! Don't want to diet too much while ttc but incorporating walking, some cycling to work and maybe a few weeks of focused cardio (back to 30day shred maybe?), then hopefully lots of regular yoga. What are you guys planning?

HepKestrel · 24/04/2016 14:20

congrats maya !!Flowers

Flowers to 5tar and kwick hope you guys are looking after your selves.

Theorchard · 24/04/2016 14:01

Thanks jem it could be difficult for us, (can't say why, too outing) so trying not to get my hopes up, but it is hard not to. I am most likely to be with you guys for a number of cycles. But as you say it only takes one winning swimmer. Smile
What I find totally mind blowing is that when any one of us was conceived we did all these things,; turned into a ball of cells, travelled down the tube, implanted into our mums uterus, etc and here we are now on mumsnet, seems utterly mad!

SuchaJem · 24/04/2016 13:33

All it takes is one determined swimmer theorchard hope you managed to catch your eggo Smile

Hi vix glad to here things are going well and you're feeling more relaxed. Good to see you too Lillian - lovely to hear about little bee!

Feefeefs · 24/04/2016 12:51

Thanks Lillian that's really nice to hear your story I hope I'm in the same boat! What kept you sane during those three weeks?

bluebird3 · 24/04/2016 12:47

Congrats mayago!! Great news for a Sunday. Can I jump on the weight loss band wagon? Really need to as no will power. Literally typing this from Taco Bell...
I think I will use my fitness pal too. Guess it starts from now!

LillianFullStop · 24/04/2016 12:33

Checking in late to this thread so just catching up.

Lillian 36
14+0 stowaway nicknamed Bee

kwick so so sorry to hear your news Flowers I hope you are being looked after. It's so tough after the rollercoaster of TTC + BFP. Take care Flowers

feef my first scan at what my dates said was 7 weeks I only dated 5.5 - 6w as well. We had a follow up scan at 10w and I was dating 9w so although I was a week off the bean was growing at the right rate. Try to stay positive and I hope you have good news at the next scan.

Theorchard · 24/04/2016 12:21

Congratulations maya!! GrinFlowers

Update from me, I have had no positive opk's yet, but a couple of faint pink lines previously and Ovia now thinks I ov'd around CD9/10 presumably based on symptoms and cycle length. This moved my fertile window and we only dtd twice in that time. I have had positive opks in the past, but that was earlier in the year when we weren't trying and I was just trying to figure out if I ovulated. So it's all a bit inconclusive. I've ordered a thermometer so I can track bbt next cycle.
I highly doubt I am preg this time, although I've got a very heavy, full /dragging feeling in my pelvic area, nausea, tiredness and palpitations, which makes me irrationally hopeful, BUT I get these feelings every month (except the palpitations which are weird)! If Ovia is correct I am 6 dpo today.
Fx For all in tww, I love seeing the + test pics, I am obsessed!! Grin

KatOnATinRo0f · 24/04/2016 11:40

Yayyy!!!! Finally another BFP!

I think we needed this today!
ThanksThanksThanksThanksThanksThanksThanks

theneonninja · 24/04/2016 10:37

Congrats mayago, definitely 2 pink lines there. Great to see some BFP news on a Sunday morning!

vixarooni · 24/04/2016 10:15

Hi guys, just popping in to say hi!

Feeling so much better now after breaking from ovia, here and the stress I was putting myself under. I have no idea where I am in my cycle, and I'm enjoying that too! Going to continue on the same path and see where I get. I did get curious today because I wanted to see who's got upduffed!

Hope everyone here is well, getting through their 2ww and potentially preggo :)

Congrats mayago!

Jamjar12 · 24/04/2016 09:52

Congrats mayago!! I can definitely see two lines there! Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of pregnancy ;)

I'm so glad there's been a BFP on here again, it's been very quiet on the upduffed front. Hopefully the winds are changing and there'll be more to follow as we go into May!! ThanksThanks
