Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Good to hear from you kwick and I'm so inspired by your attitude. I hope the pain eases up soon.

I've not been very good on our health kick today - had a massive donut for breakfast and a margarita with my lunch. At least I managed 15,000 steps though!

I don't think I've ever had sore boobs either as an AF symptom or a SP symptom. I can't imagine what it would feel like but then I'm not a very boob-y person.

SkyLucy · 26/04/2016 22:42

"Boobs. They cannot be trusted." I'll have that as my quote of the week Jem!!

Feefeefs · 26/04/2016 21:46

Snow test results silts sound very positive!

Hi kwick youre PMA is very inspiring and plenty to be positive about. Glad you have got some time to yourself.

twinkydink · 26/04/2016 21:45

kwick so happy to hear from you. You are a bloody soldier with that much PMA after the ship storm you have been dealt!

pug I get the brown cm before AF too. This was the first month since TTC that I barely had it, just a little in the morning and then AF by the evening. But in the previous few months I have had it for a few days. I wonder if it's to do with me coming off the pill? I also think I am prone to spotting. I had the implant a few years ago and pretty much spotted the whole time I had it in.

What is your actual AF mine is extremely light and always has been even on the pill. It's barely three days most months I'd say closer to 2 and a half really.

It does worry that by body isn't doing things right but I'm guessing the gp won't care until I've been TTC for at least a year!

KatOnATinRo0f · 26/04/2016 21:09

Kwick I'm glad you have stuck around and also have some positive thoughts! Sending you lots of love and anti-itching cream!

Stark have you done any more blog posts?? I haven't got the link I need to bookmark it !!

Welcome newbies and welcome to your SP... This is your schroedinger's pregnancy (I know that's prob spelt but I couldn't be bothered to spell check it) ... This is the existence of your pregnancy in the tww. It exists until you know for certain it doesn't. Enjoy :)

I will probably soon be giving birth to my schroedinger's baby at this rate (that is the 2 weeks I have been pregnant every month added up to make 40 weeks) haha Grin

SuchaJem · 26/04/2016 21:02

Ah so maybe more related to coming off the pill then pug. Maybe I have had it before and not noticed? Who knows.

ni Ahhh I did a lovely exercise class this evening run by a colleague at work! Feeling good for it!

Pugmummy87 · 26/04/2016 20:55

jem I've always had it even before ttc. The only time I didn't was when I was on the pill and it's been over 5 years since I've come off the pill now. I just looked back at last month when I had my ? Chemical and I didn't get it until 14dpo (af started 16dpo).

Ni4444 · 26/04/2016 20:39

Ps Stark it sounds so miserable to be stuck in the purgatory of waiting out of the frying pan and into the fire Hope you have some nice things lined up this week to take you closer to your booking in and scans and all sorts of real proof!!

Ni4444 · 26/04/2016 20:36

Good to hear from you Kwick. Bloody miserable to get an allergic reaction too! Join us in our health kick this month -if I'm not gonna fall upduffed at the wink of OHs eye (!!) I can at least be getting my body in gear (says the woman who ate chocolate yesterday and today....I was travelling at the weekend though so rather sleep deprived and snacky! Late evening at work tonight but hopefully early to bed and I'll start some yoga tomorrow! And I did bring lots of veggie crudités to work for snacks so I am starting to try!)

What will you guys be doing tomorrow towards your healthy goals? Give me some inspiration!

SuchaJem · 26/04/2016 19:49

Hello snow good news on the Yorkshire tea Brew and even better news on the Clomid + swimmer news.

skylucy I find boobs are one of the most misleading things for me. I get sore boobs EVERY month before AF. Since ttc I've got excited when they are a) sore earlier than usual, b) not sore at all and c) had shooting type boob pain. Basically they cannot be trusted Envy

mayago seeing it in writing Smile eeee glad to hear all going well

Hello starky Awwww at mrstark bless his clumsy efforts!

Hello ktt welcome to the wonderful world of ttc turmoil. Yes that does sound like EWCM. Almost all pregnant symptoms can be PMS. It's a nightmare! Try not to drive yourself too nuts - not easy I know Smile

Lovely to see you kwick yes indeed to your pmas - you've done it once and I hope it happens again quickly for you.

I had the brown discharge before AF this month too pug there's part of me that wondered whether it could be related to having a chemical? I've never had a bfp but also haven't had this kind of cm pre AF before ttc?

Theorchard · 26/04/2016 19:38

Posted too soon! Good to hear from you and be kind to yourself, it's ok to feel however you feel Pma or not.

Theorchard · 26/04/2016 19:36

kwick Flowers good to hear from you ChocolateWine

Pugmummy87 · 26/04/2016 19:32

I can't remember if I've already said it but congratulations mayago!

Kwick lovely to see you on here. I'm glad you have some time off work. You are an inspiration with your pma, even after all you've been through. Flowers

Well I'm 99.9% certain that AF is going to arrive either tomorrow or Thursday. Increasing amounts of brown discharge that I get a few days leading up to it, except I've had this for about a week now. Starting to feel crampy and sore boobs have disappeared.

Not sure whether or not to be concerned by the brown gunk I get every month, tends to start around 10-11dpo until AF arrives.

iPatches · 26/04/2016 19:30

Kwick - I'm so sorry for your pain. Take that time you need for yourself.
(I missed you too Grin)

My own PMA is suffering today. CD21 and I want some symptoms. Haven't got any.

Kwick709 · 26/04/2016 17:55

Welcome newbies!

CONGRATULATIONS mayago!!!! Star

ipatches I missed you - so glad you are back

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your lovely messages and having me in your thoughts.
Not sure if I mentioned but I opted for an op - had that on Friday. Managed to get an allergic reaction to anti-MRSA lotion on tummy flab that hangs over (in the crease) which causes no end of itchiness and misery. My womble hurts and I am still bleeding... Want it to end so I can go swimming and do some yoga.
Managed to give myself diarrhea with yesterdays choice takeaway...
I am off work until 4 May... I really need this time - not just physically.
Have come up with some PMA:

  1. Am able to get upduffed (albeit with intervention) - if happened once can happen again
  2. Now have longer to lose weight
  3. Now have longer to save
Kathrino · 26/04/2016 17:52

Snow, that's great news re DH's sample. Keeping everything crossed that you get that BFP soon.

Welcome ktt! I tend to get EWCM for 4 - 5 days before I ovulate but as soon as I ovulate it disappears so you could well have ovulated earlier in the week. FX you caught that egg!

ktt512 · 26/04/2016 17:24

Hi everyone, can I jump on?

OH and I are ttc our 1st and this is the first month we've (or I) have actually bothered to look out for ovulation!

Currently in the tww and I'm running my brain ragged. Convinced myself that there is no way that I'm pregnant, but every thirty seconds, another voice pops up going 'yeah but what if?' - very tiring.

I pretty much have no idea what i'm doing ovulation wise, I could use some advice...I used a cycle tracker app this month and it said that I should have ovulated on Friday but my EWCM got involved too early and turned up on Tuesday.

So if I go by that, I ovulated either Tuesday, Wednesday or maybe Thursday at a psuh? When the CM is clear and stringy, that EWCM right? Is that when you ovulate or is it the day after that stops? On Thursday afternoon / Friday I settled back into regular CM, so I wouldn't have ovulated then would I...? (sorry that's a lot of questions!)

We dtd Sunday, Monday and Wednesday so I hope I ovulated earlier in the week and not Friday otherwise I missed it!

If I did ovulate Tues or Weds, I'd be 6/7DPO today but I feel absolutely no different, no tender breasts, no nausea, no nothing. Is it too early for all that? Am I prematurely psyching myself out? Should I feel no different at this stage if we had managed to conceive this month? Although I am extraordinarily cranky today, no patience whatsoever and the sarky comments I keep making are even shocking me lol and I had a very light, 5 minute AFish cramp this morning and I have been outrageously gassy the last 24 hours (TMI, I know!). But is that even a pregnancy sign? Probably not!

Any help would be much appreciated!! x

StarkyTheDirewolf · 26/04/2016 16:27

I had every single one of my usual af symptoms guys. They mean nothing, honestly! My boobs are as sore today at 9+5 as they were at 7dpo! I had my standard cramps and spots too. And I still keep thinking af has arrived.

Still not told a soul, it's getting boring now. Not got booking in (for bloods etc) till next week and then scan date will be produced. But it could be another 3 weeks before it happens. Yawn! Haven't had any early scan's so have no idea if/what's going on in there.

Dh has been really "helpful" by cleaning everything.
So far he's broken ;
The pipe under the sink.
The George Formby lean mean grilling machine.
A wheel off the hoover.
The dryer is making a funny noise.
The back off a cabinet.
The oven smells of chemicals.

The man's a liability. I'm going g to have to wait till h goes to the gym and then stealth sneak my Dad in to surreptitiously fix everything! Swear to God he's nesting or something!

How is everything/everyone? I'm in limbo because I still don't believe I'm pregnant so can't get excited and I'm bored now with the immense wait! Don't test early guys, it just increases the amount of time you have to kill!

kwick thinking of you all the time Flowers

I've had zero symptoms this month. Every other month I've had cramps or spotting or rages lol. FF is telling me I'm past my usual luteal phase and to test... I think af will be turning up some time tonight. It's hard not t obsess at this point!

mayago · 26/04/2016 15:25

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I did a digital test last night, and OH was so much more excited to see it written out in black and white. The faintness of the second line was really confusing for him!

I really liked MFP for logging calorie intake, but it's my fitbit that gets me moving. I have friends who use it as well, and we've started competing. It gets a little obsessive, and is no where near doing a full session in the gym, but it's reliable for me!

I wish I'd not gained while TTC. I'm 4 weeks tomorrow, and already having a hard time fastening my jeans. It's like the TWW in how it's messing with my head! Even faced with having to start a new wardrobe tomorrow, I wouldn't change it for the world Flowers

Ni4444 · 26/04/2016 15:21

Great news Snow! Sounds like things are lining up nicely!! Fingers crossed June is the month!

I had sore boobs last month too as a pre AF symptom-first time ever! Bodies are such a torment!!

bluebird3 · 26/04/2016 13:59

sky and lovely I too have fallen victim to thinking sore boobs = pg. even though ive been through this before... But they really, really hurt this time. But they hurt far less today so I think it's the usual pms symptom. I'm not due till this weekend sometime. Bleh.

blueladybird I'm not bothered by the similar names so do whatever you like Smile and welcome to the group. ThanksThanks

LovelyFishy · 26/04/2016 13:04

The cycle before last I was convinced I was upduffed due to sore boobs. Even fluffing up a pillow sans bra hurt too much to do! But alas, the tww and it's evil mind games.

Snow great to hear from you again, glad you'll be getting a proper cuppa soon! Also good news on the swimmers and IUI go-ahead, hopefully not long for you now. Smile

SkyLucy · 26/04/2016 12:32

Ah thanks for the solidarity and rational reasoning Hep! Needed that...seems to have escaped me today! Gah. Smile

HepKestrel · 26/04/2016 12:26

hi sky !

I think most of us have convinced ourselves in the middle of tww! (despite promising ourselves to the contrary!)

sore boobs can equally be AF related as they can be pg related.
