Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

So sorry to hear that flash Sad I hope the surgery goes well and wish you a quick recovery and return to ttc.

Hello 5tar good to see you glad to hear you're getting on okay.

Cd10 here and really need to get a start on the DTD marathon. ISW is exhausting! I don't feel I have the energy!

HepKestrel · 01/05/2016 09:22

Hi 5tar, I love your attitude!

I think I will use both ic and clear blue for the next few days. I wanted to try the clear blue as it picks up oestrogen so is meant to give you more warning. With oh away so much for work, I was desperate for any more "control/knowledge" about my cycle.

A side note.... Why is every women inthe TV and books I am watching/reading getting pregnant right now ?????

Mini irrational grrr.....

5tardusty · 01/05/2016 08:57

kestrel i prefer the ic opks- i like to see the line for myself! DH bought me a second hand clearblue when we first started ttc, but the ics arrived first and so i've never used it Blush

Haven't checked in on here for a bit.. I'm on cd Who Knows after mc. The term "wtf cycle" is very accurate! Currently trying to dtd every other day and just wait for ewcm as my hormones haven't settled down enough yet to trust the tests. Also bought a bbt thermometer so can't wait for that to come. I am my own science project.....

Feeling positive and hopeful. Even made myself go into Mamas and Papas yesterday for a baby shower gift and it wasn't too bad.

WE WILL GET OUR BABIES Grin

HepKestrel · 01/05/2016 08:47

So sorry flash

FlowersFlowers

So I am day 4 of flashing smiley face??
Think I might break my old IC opk out this afternoon.... At least we still have 2 days left of BH

bluebird3 · 01/05/2016 07:50

flash I'm so sorry. I hope you're taking good care of yourself. Flowers

kathrino it's so hard when you hit little time markers.., I'll be preggo by xmas, or definitely by Easter, or my bday for sure... And then they pass. But statistics are on your side so you are likely to be upduffed before your 1 year!

Congrats ktt! I can see a line.

Thanks for af commiserations everyone. At least it can a couple days early so I could enjoy the hen.

Come on more bfps! I want at least 1 more from a long weekend!!!

twinkydink · 01/05/2016 07:02

Flash I am so sorry to hear that. Hope you are taking care of yourself Flowers

Kathrino · 01/05/2016 01:10

Thanks Jem.

Flash, I'm so sorry to hear about your ectopic. I hope you're doing okay FlowersFlowersFlowers

Flashinthepan · 01/05/2016 00:06

Hi ladies. Haven't posted here much since getting bfp but I've been reading up and cheering you all on. Sadly my pregnancy was ectopic and I've just had surgery but wanted to pop my head back in and say I will be joining again as soon as I can start trying although I'm sure you'll all be graduated by then. I'll probs pop on here from time to time to keep up with everyone's progress and wishing you all the best of luck.

SuchaJem · 30/04/2016 22:26

Happy 6 months kathrino!

Sorry about AF bluebird, hope you enjoy your cocktails

Congrats kkt!

AliceScarlett · 30/04/2016 20:42

I'd say that was a BFP. Congrats :)

Kathrino · 30/04/2016 16:06

Ktt, That definitely looks like a BFP to me and I generally can't see anything but I'd definitely second (third?) the advice about a FRER. Looking good though, congrats!

Sorry about AF bluebird, enjoy your weekend!

Stay strong twink! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Today is our 6 month wedding anniversary (sort of, technically it should be 31 April but that day doesn't exist). I really thought I'd be up the duff by now but instead I have cramps which tell me that AF is on its way 5 days earlier and I'm on constant knicker check. Allowing myself a couple of hours of moping before some cocktails tonight.

HepKestrel · 30/04/2016 15:23

i can see a slight shadow there.... fx for you !!!

we need more bfp's !

Jamjar12 · 30/04/2016 12:09

I had some of those too :)

That looks like a line to me- get a FRER!!!

twinkydink · 30/04/2016 12:04

ktt512 is your AF due today? I would get a FRER in for tomorrow because that looks like a line to me!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/04/2016 11:49

As long as it was in the time limit of less than 5 mins or so when you took the pics. A line can't be produced without hcg, you don't produce hcg until after implantation. So its a positive test. (Just in a side note though, some of the early tests can leave shocking shinies/evaps which can be very misleading. Definetly get a frer, leave it a few days (or until af is due) and test again.

ktt512 · 30/04/2016 11:42

Really?? Good grief...I'll test again on the 4th and see but i'm going to try not to get excited just in case! And i'll try not to buy out the baby clothes section at Tesco when I go later Grin

It was from Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BWZBJRU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 do you think they're going to be reliable? I think i'll get a First Response for next weekend if AF hasn't arrived by then to be really sure!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/04/2016 11:27

I'd say that was a positive ktt512 congratulations! What kind of tests are those? I've never seen them before.
Another non-believer eh? If it makes you feel any better I'm 10+2 and still don't believe I'm pregnant. Like really truly don't believe it. It's an odd feeling.

I have a confession to make...I cracked under the pressure of my own head and tested early. I feel like a wally, I gained nothing from doing it except for a possible faintest of the faint line. I asked my DP what he thought and he said he couldn't see anything and went about his business. When I told him it was AF due date, he said 'well why did you test today then?!' as if it were pure common sense. Which obviously it is, I should have waited, but my thoughts were driving me crazy.

I took a couple of pics, what do you guys think?

Even if there is a line, I'm preparing for a chemical pregnancy...I don't think i'd ever really and truly believe I was having a baby until I was in labour anyway!

But yeah, i'm a plonker. Then I fell over in my own bedroom and grazed my knee. Saturday is off to a racing start!

HepKestrel · 30/04/2016 11:19

hi miley [waves]

I am in ISW, and so far neither OH or me are ill, so doing much better than previous cycles !!

Mileymoocow · 30/04/2016 11:01

Morning ladies! How is everyone doing? Just checking in and hoping some of my hormones rub off onto you lot in hope that they'll gee your ovaries up.

kwick you doing ok lovely?

My nausea hasn't allowed me to read a lot about cm and stuff but it has died down a little so I'm popping by Smile

Mooseville · 30/04/2016 08:22

Keep strong twinky. You want your Starky's star! Don't test yet!!!!

bluebird3 · 30/04/2016 07:44

I'm out. Af arrived a couple days ago. I had a blood test yesterday so I should get those results after the bank holiday. The positive is that I'm on a hen weekend so at least I can enjoy wine and cocktails.
Good luck twinkydink

Jamjar12 · 29/04/2016 23:51

Jumping on the drinking topic late but wanted to share- we both abstained from alcohol for the first 2 months completely, then just drank during AF for the third month. Then we both drank regularly for the fourth month. I think we were actually a bit tipsy the night we conceived and then I had a cocktail party a few days later and drank a few then.
When I discussed with the midwife, she laughed kindly at my concern and said it wouldn't affect the baby at all that early and as long as you stop when you know you're pregnant, there's very little risk.
I say go for it, drink it you want to. TTC is stressful enough and I firmly believe we conceived when I stopped being so bloody paranoid about it and loosened up. Honestly, I was obsessed. It's the hardest thing to do I know but if you don't know how long it'll take, it's not fair on you (or your partner) to let it take over your life.

twinkydink · 29/04/2016 20:55

Ovia is telling me to test and I am ignoring!! I'm 12dpo but cd22 so I think it's still too early. Please all convince me I should not go out at get tests tomorrow!
